C17 CHAPTER 17

The entire place was similar to the night I came. There was no sign of anyone around.

The entire place was eerie, silent as a graveyard.

My eyes darted around as I tried to check if there was anyone around. And when I didn't see, I hastened towards the gate, intent on leaving here.

There was no way I could remain here when the road to my freedom is near.
