Alex's point of view

I quickly got dressed as CEO Brandon said we should meet in his company building.

I rushed to meet him at his company building and I was taken to his office when I arrived.

"CEO Brandon, thank you for inviting me." I thanked him because he is a life saver.

I thought he would reach out to Riley first to hear her silly excuses, thank goodness he didn't.

"Alex, right?" He asked.

"Yes, sure." I replied.

"Why did Riley do this when she knows working with Mr Simon will ruin our partnership?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"I don't know what goes to her head ,so I can't tell." I told him.

She is too cunning and always wants to make a gain.

"All I can tell you is that she is very greedy and wants everything for herself,so stomping all over you won't bother her." I replied and he narrowed his eyes.

"There was an offer you made me before." He reminded me and I nodded in confirmation and smiled.

"Oh CEO Daniel, you know he is not in good relation with my ex in law's company, if you are looking for a new partner to work with, you can just go over there, you both share a common enemy." I suggested and he hummed.

"Well seeing that he is already having problems with Harry corporation, I guess joining in won't hurt." He laughed.

"I don't think Riley thought about it clearly before stabbing me in the back, I will make sure she regrets it." He promised and I smiled.

"Please do." I replied and he looked at me.

"You are enjoying this." He observed and I gasped.

"That can't possibly be true." I chuckled.

Why won't I enjoy the downfall of the woman who stabbed me in the back?

"Set an appointment with Ceo Daniel , you are working for him right?" He asked

"I am." I replied.

"Then set an appointment with him, we can discuss amongst ourselves." He told me.

I thanked him for giving me a listening ear and left his company building and went to Daniel corporation.

I asked to see Mr Daniel and his secretary let me in.

I informed Mr Daniel about my meeting with Ceo Brandon and he was surprised.

"So he agreed to work with us?" He asked in surprise and I smiled.

"He did." I replied and he laughed happily.

"That is excellent, I was trying to get him over to my side, but he never agreed." He revealed.

"I guess he saw a better reason to join you, you share something in common." I smirked.

"I guess you have something to do with it, good job Alex, I knew that hiring you would be a good idea, you haven't disappointed me." He told me.

"Thank you sir." I replied.

Well I am doing this for my own happiness.

Because right now with the rage I feel towards my ex in law's, I can't move on without hurting them back.

I have to do something that would make them regret doing this to me.

"Here, take my card and shop for yourself." Ceo Daniel said as he gave me his bank card.

I raised an eyebrow and my mouth made an oh.

"I might run away with this." I joked and he laughed.

"Don't try it." He patted my shoulder.

"I feel as if we will be good friends in the near future." He smiled and winked his eyes.

I nodded in understanding.

"We will be." I confirmed.

At least for now , I consider him an ally that is helping me in taking down my ex in law.

As he suggested I went to buy new clothes with his back card, because I don't have much clothes with me.

I don't want to spend too much money.

I was in the changing room trying out an outfit ,when my phone began ringing to my surprise it was Riley.

I answered.

"You did this right?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Who is this?" I asked and she huffed.

"It's Riley." She replied.

"Which Riley, I can't remember because I saved your name with a shit head emoji." I told her as I muffled my laughter.

I wasn't even joking,it was the truth.

"Alex, you will regret doing something like this to me, because I will sue you to court and you will lose all the money you have!" She yelled at me.

How can she sue me when I didn't sign any contract with them?

Is she stupid?

"Okay." I replied.

"You pathetic man, if you use the strength you use and backstabbed me, you would have gotten a lot of wealth instead of being stupid and acting like a moron." She insulted me.

"Um.. Riley shit head, I will have to hang up now, since I don't know who this is and I don't care and you are just insulting me." I told her and I heard her gasp.

"Don't you dare call me that again, I will have you arrested!" She yelled.

"Bitch ,do you even know where I am?" I asked as I burst out laughing.

The funniest part of all this is I thought I would meet her since the place she works is close by, but we haven't met since I left.

"Alex ,I am telling you that you will regret this, it doesn't matter how I will do it, but I will make sure I will sue you in court and you will be punished for this!" She yelled.

"Okay, you can try ,but don't cry when you have nothing against me." I replied and laughed heartily.

I think the more I laugh the more she gets upset and offended that I didn't care about what she was saying.

The day of the appointment between CEO Daniel and Ceo Brandon arrived.

We were all outside waiting for CEO Brandon to arrive ,as he told us he was already on his way here.

Ceo Daniel insisted on waiting for CEO Brandon outside, because CEO Brandon is richer than him and even my ex in-laws.

So he has more influence and connections.

Getting into partnership with him is a big deal.

The car stopped and he got out of the car and the second door opened and Riley came out of the car and my eyes widened.

What is she doing here?

I could see that Ceo Daniel was equally confused, so I know they didn't plan it.

"Ceo Brandon what is going on, why are we here?" Riley asked him as she walked up to him.

He turned to her.

"I heard you are working with Mr Simon." He said and her eyes widened for a moment and she recomposed herself.

"You know that is a lie, I will never do such a thing." Riley lied and I scoffed.

Ceo Brandon handed a paper to her, she took it and read it and her eyes widened.

"Oh sir I can explain, this is a mistake." She said with panic written all over her face.

"Explain it then." He said and she looked away and bit her lower lips and then our eyes met and she furrowed her brows in confusion.

I think she is wondering what I am doing here.

"This is a mistake, I am not working with Mr Simon." She argued, but didn't explain anything to him.

"I see since you broke one of the rules in our partnership, you know that our partnership is over." CEO Brandon reminded her and she gasped.

"But sir.." she tried to say but he cut her off.

"Your father's company isn't far from here ,I am sure you can walk there or call your driver, I honestly don't care." He told her and the corner of her lips twitched.

"I can explain." She said,

"Riley, I hope you know I hold grudges, I will not forget you stabbing me in the back and I will make sure I stab you back, if not that you are a lady I would have slapped the heck out of you." He said as he began walking towards us.

Riley tried going after him, his bodyguards stopped her and when she was trying to force her through, they pushed her and she lost her balance because of the heels she was wearing and fell, when ceo Daniel and ceo Brandon were shaking hands.

They both turned to her with nonchalant expressions on their faces.

"Miss Riley ,you should leave before you get sued for obstruction of business, we will use force to remove you from the property if you refuse to leave." Ceo Daniel warned her.

"Do you know who I am, I can burn this whole thing down!" She stood up and yelled as I was pointing my camera at her videoing her outburst.

"You can try it." He told her as I was still videoing the interaction with a smile.

I need to watch it later.

The pained expression on her face was just absolutely breathtaking.

Riley turned to look at me and saw me pointing my phone at her.

Her eyes widened.

"What are you doing? Give me that phone , delete that video, I didn't give you permission to video me!" She yelled at me, as CEO Daniel and ceo Brandon went inside to complete their partnership ,as I stayed outside laughing at Riley who was trying to get past the security guards to get to me ,so I could delete the video.

I stuck out my tongue and walked inside.

Damn this is great.
