C9 I never say too much.

Alex's pov

I sighed.

"I never say too much, everyone has secrets," I told him and he eyed me suspiciously.

"Check your phone for bugs by someone else, get your brother in law out of your home , if you want your company to move ahead, ask him about it or set a trap for him, that's left for you to do." I gave him a lot of suggestions.

"I don't want to accuse my brother-in -law...." He tried to say, but I cut him off.

"Mr Daniel, sentimental feelings should be put aside, when dealing in business," I reminded him.

I was a fool for forgetting.

"You should only think about your company and the money you will lose if this continues happening, if you lose all that money even your so-called brother in law would insult you for not handling your money properly." I reminded him and he dropped his head to think.

I know he did not want to confront his brother-in -law ,because it's his wife's brother and it might cause problems between him and his wife if he does.

But his company.

He should think about it.

"I understand." He said suddenly.

I think he has had his suspicions ,but no evidence.

"Is there anything else you have to say?" He inquired as I saw the silent pleading look in his eyes. I think he doesn't want me to say any of his family members are betraying him.

"Also someone is stealing your company data and sending it to Mr Harry, I am not sure who the person is ,but it's someone very close to you that has access to your office, so it's either your driver, your secretary or one of your bodyguards." I said.

"That's how Mr Harry always knows what you are talking about in your company or what you are about to do in your company and he gets ahead of you to ruin it ,by launching the product that you are working on, earlier than you." I revealed and he nodded in understanding.

Daniel was left in astonishment as he tried to wrap his head around what was being said.

He must have always known that Harry was cunning and evil , but he didn't know it was this bad.

"Now the last.." I said and he cut me off.

"There is more?" He asked in surprise as he shifted nervously in his chair.

"Yes, there is more." I replied and I could see Daniel's heart skipped a beat and beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

I think he is silently praying that I do not say anything about his wife being among those that want his downfall, because that would break him to pieces.

"My ex-wife Miss Riley wants to launch a video game," I began.

"I helped with the graphics and some editing since I can relate to the character, who is poor, if you hire me , I will help you start your own video game if a dating simulator game or interactive dating game that is better than hers and If you want to go to extreme length to stop them, you can always try to hack and corrupt their files." I concluded.

"You want to work for me?" He asked in surprise.

"Yes." I replied.

"You know that the Harry company building is two buildings away, they will know you are helping me and they will hate you more." Daniel reminded me and I smacked my lips together and shrugged.

"I was accused, framed, humiliated and tossed aside , do you think I bloody care about how anyone feels?" I asked him with an arched eyebrow as I was digging my nails into the armrest of the chair I was sitting on.

"Then how can I trust your words?" He asked me.

I think he still needed evidence.

"Do you think I will just come here to talk nonsense?" I asked him.

"You are hired, but if I find out my phone wasn't bugged by my brother in law, you are fired." He replied.

"I understand, thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for you. I will make sure you won't regret it." I replied.

Right now I was out to shed blood.

Riley will regret what she did.

"Oh that's right, you have a building where your staff live right?" I asked curiously, because I was homeless.

"I do." He replied.

"I need a room." I informed him and he raised an eyebrow, wondering ei needed a room, when he just gave me one million dollars.

"That's fine, it will be prepared for you." He told me and I sighed in relief.

"Thank you sir." I smiled.

"First, call someone to check your phone." I told him and he called someone.

I was there when the person checked his phone.

"It's a bug sir." He said and I just shrugged.

Daniel was still in disbelief, the bug was removed from his phone, he angrily called his brother in law who answered.

"How dare you do this to me you ungrateful, wretched bastard!" He yelled in anger.

"What did I do?" I heard his brother in law ask, since the phone was on speaker.

"Why did you bug my phone?" He asked him.

"I didn't." His brother in law lied.

"I just saw it now and you want to continue lying. Do you have a death wish?" He asked in a loud voice.

"Brother..." He tried to say.

"Shut up, I am not your brother, how dare you screw me over like this when I have supported and treated you like my younger brother!" He yelled at his brother in law, who was overwhelmed by guilt and finally decided to confess.

"I am sorry, It was me who did it, but it was Harry who forced me to do it, he was blackmailing me. I didn't mean to do it." His brother in law cried out and I sighed in relief.

At least he admitted to it, my stay here is guaranteed for at least a month.

By then I will make sure to harm Harry corporation by telling Daniel everything I know about them.

Even if I sank in this boat, I want to drag a lot of people down with me.

The corner of my lips turned to an evil smile.
