C2 Fake Marriage Fake Honeymoon

Shelby and Wade agreed to have a fake marriage, but it was the only way she could get into his coven; her and Jacob needed a way to find their family and other members of their pack. Wade brought her to The Violent Reef for their honeymoon for some time and relaxation to get to know each other. He could feel how stressed she was so he thought that this would be good for her.

Wade only met Jacob a couple of times at the gym he and Shelby owned. They both took it over after their father passed away but started to a new MMA gym in the human towns where everyone could come to practice so they could home in their craft. Children that were in high school and college could join so they could learn how to defend themselves as humans, and the shifters to become warriors and guards in their packs.

It was open to all packs and humans around the area, and they even allowed other shifters from packs around the world that were there to visit or when the alpha summit was in the area. It was a solution where everyone benefits for all involved. This is where Shelby had met Wade and she knew he was a vampire, but he did not know she was a shifter. She always had her scent masked as she is a licensed killer, this could mean death for her and her family.

Shelby was at awe of the island; it is secluded with smaller islands surrounding it and a raving ocean on most sides that could kill if you got in too deep. It is lushes with all kinds of green trees, with palm trees lining the beaches. She watched guests play in the sand, body surfed, and sunbathed while sipping Piña Coladas and other tropical drinks taking in the surrounding area.

She could not wait to go lay on the beach and soak up some rays but there was an ominous feeling the island provided. It was very unsettling, unnerving that creeps into your soul when you look out into the wilderness of trees. The island is compiled of lush fruit trees, tropical flowers of all kinds set around the resort. Inside the resort the tropical flowers and plants flowed swaying in the breeze for which all the doors were open in front and the back to bring the outside in. The fragrance of flowers and ocean breeze mixed with coconut suntan lotion was calming and relaxing as the mix of scents hit your nose.

The people were very warm and welcoming with some who were humans and the rest vampires. The guests were none the wiser of who these people were that were running the resort. Outside you can see the beach and other living quarters that stood over the ocean itself flanked with a beautiful board walk to the destination.

This side of the island was calming and relaxing, the ocean was not violent like the other side. She looked for Wade standing behind the counter not completely understanding why he was there. She walked over to the counter asking why he was there. But he never looked at her when she spoke, he just ignored her and kept talking to the female in charge.

He waived her off and continued at what he was doing. He looked at the noticeably young lady standing next to him licking his lips when she looked up to him offering him the key cards to a couple of rooms. ‘What the hell is this exchange about’ she thought. She needed to find out more about this person as she watched the exchanged between her so called husband and this young girl.

No, she was not a lady she was a mere girl, human at that but she noticed she had a couple bites on the side of her neck which looked like a small tattoo. She recognized the mark but did not make a comment or let the look take over her eyes or face. She is a blood bank for one of the vampires him maybe or a mate to one of them. Shelby took a picture of them making sure she took in the entire check in entrance as it was extremely attractive, wanting to redecorate her bedroom like this, at least that is her story.

Shelby did not pay attention to much around her except for the exchange at the desk and the beauty of the vegetation the island provided, and she could not wait to go exploring, but not today, she is tired from the traveling they endured. She just wanted to get to her suite, unpack and take a nap with the windows and balcony doors open letting in the soft breeze and smell of the salty ocean.

Wade came from behind the desk, she thought it odd he had three key cards for their suite. What she did not know is that he had another suite for himself on a different floor, opposite side of the resort that is what the third key card is for. It was all connected but at this time Shelby knew nothing about his business or behaviors for they never talked about his life just a short synopsis of his family and how they expected him to be married.

They entered the suite, and she took in the features of the elegance it holds. There were dark colors on the walls with pure angel white trim around the room making the dark ocean blue color pop. The living room had light colored furniture and a ding table with a small kitchenette off the right side. Towards the back there were two rooms one to the left and another to the right. She opened the door to the left and gasped at the deep tan walls with an aqua colored featured wall behind the king-sized bed that held navy pillows, white and teal bedding.

Off to the right there were two doors one led to the ensuite which had a shower and separate bathtub in the same spot. A toilet and two vanities with sinks. She stepped out walked to the other door and inside was a massive walk-in closet with two dressers one for her and one for Wade. Their clothes already put away and hung up.

She changed her clothes and laid down for a nap before dinner. later she can ask her husband to take her on a tour of the island so she can get a lay of the land. She wants to go investigate the forest which she knows it is filled with much danger and without back up she could find herself in a world of trouble. She must be smart, careful and everything planned out to the tee, if she is going to find her missing pack family and friends including her siblings.

Shelby was held up in their honeymoon suite while Wade was out with his family looking over the prisoners that they had taken, but he made sure that Izzy, Orien, and their warriors were kept alive and separate from the other prisoners. He knows Izzy is his mate and the sister to Orien, but Wade did not know that her and Shelby, along with their brother Orien are siblings. Her father made sure that they were kept secret from Wade as he did not trust him. Merric always knew something was awry with Wade, so he had sent Shelby and Jacob out of the pack for a month or so on tour with the MMA fighters.

When she woke up from her nap, she could hear the wild birds singing their songs, heard various kinds of animals that would come to the edge of the wilderness, the waves hitting the rocks outside her window. No, her suite was not on the beach side, but she could see it when she walked out on the balcony. Looking straight down from the balcony you can see the rocky cliffs that made the waves splattered against them in a violent way but walk around to the right you can see soft sand white as snow with more of a calmer side of the ocean.
