“Adda, how did you know this trail was here?” Scet moved through the bloody scene, his focus no longer on the remains of whatever human was possessed. His attention, now, was on Adda, and she had no good answer.

“I'm not certain, instinct maybe?”

“Yet you walked right to it, as a hare dives for the burrow it knows beneath the brambles.”
