C12 THE MERGER OF THE BULLIES 1

Jiire ran to fetch water for her, when she drank to her satisfaction she continued with the story,

"She had opportunity to avenge the insult heaped upon her by M. S. Olude the following academic year in another course which was an elective course manned by the same M. S . Olude who disgraced her just to defend Olamide.

This elective course is a special course that combined students with excellent brains from different faculties and it is a major course for all the participating students.

The day they opened this new class that combined many guys from different faculties, a guy named Rotimi sat beside Ewanimi, mysteriously this guy looked like an identical twin with Olamide. The only difference between the two was that Rotimi was slightly taller than Olamide; but facially they looked like identical twins born of the same parents.

Other difference between the two is in their family financial background. Rotimi was a son of a wealthy former senator, who entered into politics just to aquire power to protect his vast business empire. Ewanimi's parent could not in any way match Rotimi's father in wealth and power, because the senator was not only wealthy and politically strong, he also was globally connected!

This Rotimi was a kind of guy that Ewanimi's mother has been drumming into Ewanimi's head that she must connect with.

Rotimi was the only child of his parents and was rottenly spoilt, he always received everything he asked for from his father without his father caring whether he needed it or not.

He was a very handsome guy who looked like his father. To cap it all for him, he was extra ordinarily brilliant like Olamide! He happened to be the second person apart from Olamide who constantly beat Ewanimi in her main course; who made Ewanimi madly felt inferior academically.

However, there was a but to Rotimi, unlike Olamide who was a humble and friendly person; Rotimi was a super pompous bully! He walked as if he was an absolute medieval monarch that wielded absolute power!

He drove an expensive exotic car, which made him a target of many campus whorish girls. People flocked around him as if he was a celebrity of a sort, but the main reason they swarmed all over him was because he spent money lavishly on those around him; although his generosity can sometimes be accompanied with insults of varying degrees since he has no respect for people's self esteem and he was so flippant!

In his moments of incessant anger, he used to slap or spit on anyone who made him angry and no one dare to retaliate when he abused them; because he has some tough guys around him who were ready to die to protect him and his interests!

It amazes his lecturers how he could be so brilliant and always stayed above his class, because he was a party freak who was rarely seen around school library. But what they did not know was that he has super ability to sit through the night and read.

Most of the guys who thronged parties with him would go back home and sleep, but when he got home he would sit down and read through what he did in class like for two hours before he laid down on his bed.

So when the foolish friends who accompanied him to parties got to class with empty brains he comes to class with his brain loaded and beat all of them.

Girls forced themselves on him even for just a night stand, because he doled out money without restraint on any girl he had a fling with; so that it would not be a pain to them when he dumped them for another fresh girl

Non of the girls he has dumped complained that he dumped them because he left them well paid

However, as overwhelmed as he was with girls swarming and fighting for his attention, the day he sat beside Ewanimi was a memorable day in his lustful life, he was completely smitten by her beauty, intelligence and more importantly her aloofness!

After the class he asked her where she has been hiding herself before that he has not met or heard of her? And he told her that he has not seen her type before because she was a total package who delicately combine excellent beauty and excellent brain in one delicate body.

Another reason he was drawn to her was her cold aloofness. However, Ewanimi knew he was the most popular guy in their campus that most ladies were dying to date and she has carefully avoided crossing his path till date because she did not like him because of his whorish life.

So as he talked to her she showed it to him that she did not fancy him in anyway. This made Rotimi to be so fascinated with her , and for the first time he did what he has never done before, he asked her to be his girlfriend.

Ewanimi smiled and thanked him for his interest in her, she knew this one was not Bori of her high school days that she could mess with; so she cautiously told him she had no interest in becoming his girlfriend

This shocked Rotimi a lot, even his cronies who were hanging around him too were shocked that a girl could say no to Rotimi who does not woo girls because girls freely threw themselves at him immediately they set eyes on him

He held her hand while he talked to her, Ewanimi carefully extricated her hand from his and walked away with her head held high, leaving Rotimi dazed and shocked. This rejection which was the first he received from a girl made him to make Ewanimi his number one must get target of the year.
