C7 Not Your Good Girl Anymore

It was Sunday, so I didn't have to go to college today. I was happy to stay in my bed and sleep for a little longer. After about five minutes, I fell asleep again and began dreaming about Kevin. I saw him, shirtless, looking down on me as I was lying on the bed. He leaned on me to kiss me, and only then the door of the room suddenly opened. My mom entered the room, and there was a gun in her hand. She pointed it at us and then, leaving Kevin, she shot me in the head. I saw myself lying dead on the bed, and Mom and Kevin were laughing at me. I immediately woke up from the dream and my heart was racing. Just what a horrible dream it was. I felt as if my heart was going to jump out of my chest at any moment.

A minute later, somebody knocked on my room's door, and I immediately sat up on my bed. I took a deep breath to calm myself down and then patted my cheeks to get me out of my bad thoughts before going to open the door.

I opened the door and saw my mom. She was wearing the same clothes as in my dream, but instead of the gun, she was holding a cup of coffee in her hand.

" Are you alright? Why is your face all red?" She gently touched my cheek and, with a worried expression, she asked me. I immediately hugged her and started saying sorry to her in my mind.

"Hey, what happened?" She rubbed my back with her hand, and I kept hugging her. I felt like I was going to cry, so I pulled myself away from her and wore a smile on my face.

" Idiot, your smile doesn't hide your tears." She touched my cheeks and wiped the tears away. I didn't need to act anymore, so I hugged her again and started crying. I was feeling silly as I did it, which made me cry even harder.

"Okay. Okay, calm down. Let's sit first and then tell me. " She put the cup on the table and then led me to the bed. She made me sit on the bed, and then she sat down next to me. She grabbed my hands in hers and asked me, "Now tell me what happened."

I didn't know what to tell her now. I just wanted to cry a little more and then wanted to reverse time so mom wouldn't ask me anything.

" Are you going to tell me or should I ask Kevin?"

That hit me hard like a rock. I was shocked and wondered what she knew about Kevin. It can't be that she knew something about us?

"How?.... How do you find out?" I asked her.

She sighed and said, " I knew it. Kevin scolded you again, right? "

Now, it was me who signed, but only in my head. I nodded and lied that Kevin scolded me.

" Oh my baby." She hugged me and gently patted my back with her hand. "Don't worry, I'll talk to him, so don't cry anymore." She kissed me on the forehead and then, after giving me my coffee, she walked out of the room. Soon after she got out of the room, I heard her yelling Kevin's name. I was smiling like an idiot in my room, and only then did a tear fall from my eye.

I'm sorry, mom. I'm not your good girl anymore. I became bad, I thought, and started crying again.
