“Dr. Red!”

“What’s up?” I asked. Though I liked her from the start, I never gave her the chance to break the gap between a doctor and a nurse.

“Doc Red, guess what?” Her enthusiasm brought me a frown because I was never in the mood to indulge in a guessing game.

“I’m sorry, Haze, but can you just please state your purpose?”

She was silent for a moment
