She left the company a bit rattled as she dwelled on Victoria's threat. A sudden beep from her phone startled her out of her thoughts. She unlocked it. A text message from Lucas appeared on the screen.

"Hey, babe," it said. "Do you have any plans for the weekend".

"Not really, I'll probably be home all day why?" She texted her reply.
