C5

Tang Yin was a person who distinguished between gratitude and grievances. Although his nature was cold and cruel, it was the result of his tragic childhood encounters. In his entire life, there were few people who truly treated him well, and that was also the reason why, as long as there was a favor for him, he would remember it in his heart, not to mention that this middle-aged man had saved his life before.

The middle-aged man did not know that he had almost become Tang Yin's ghost. His face was anxious as he roared at Tang Yin, and at the same time, dragged him and ran backwards.

Why are you running? It's not like I can't beat them? Tang Yin frowned, he stood firmly without moving an inch.

The middle-aged man saw his stubbornness so he pointed ahead and shouted again.

Tang Yin looked in the direction he was pointing and frowned, only to see that there was dust flying behind Bai Fang, covering almost half of the sky.

Sandstorm? That was the first word that came to Tang Yin's mind, but he quickly realized his mistake. It was not a sandstorm, but dust that flew up from the huge Cavalry charging at full speed.

Gradually, the ground began to shake as the muffled sound of thunder approached. Before the man's appearance could be seen, the overwhelming aura had already pressured down on him, causing him to be unable to breathe.

Tang Yin was not an idiot, he would definitely not stay at this time. Without needing the middle aged man to pull him again, he turned around and grabbed the middle aged man's wrist, then ran away.

Following the fall of the White Team's cavalry, the situation on the battlefield became even more one-sided. The Black Team gave up on resisting, and began to retreat in batches.

This run was akin to running against a death god. Many of the soldiers threw away their black helmets and weapons. They were on the verge of defeat, as though a flood was flowing out of a river.

Tang Yin pulled the middle aged man, and started running with the black armored man's group. The more they ran, the more frustrated they became, he didn't provoke anyone, how could he have gotten himself into such trouble? He first slept in the forest for no apparent reason, and then inexplicably got involved in this battle during the era of cold weapons. What exactly was going on?

Until now, he still hadn't figured out why he was in such a situation.

But it was easy to get involved, and it was hard to get out.

It could be said that the moment he put on his Black Soldier uniform, his fate had already changed, and he had embarked on a shocking and brilliant path.

The escaping continued as the enemies pursued him relentlessly. Eventually, Tang Yin could not even remember how far he had run, he only remembered that the middle-aged man was running out of energy and gradually could not keep up with his speed. He simply carried the middle-aged man on his shoulder.

Tang Yin was skinny. Carrying another person while running, however, his speed was not slower than the surrounding people at all, and was not as breathless as the others, who were sweating profusely. As if he was flying, he occasionally threw the fleeing soldiers in front behind him.

As the saying goes, there is no choice but to panic. This was precisely the phrase used by this large group of Black Soldiers who were on the run.

It was unknown who led the way, but when they passed through the Valley Opening, it was already impossible to run any further. So it turned out that this valley was a dead valley, and the inside was circular in shape, so besides the passageway to the Valley Opening, there was no other way out. However, it was too late to turn back now.

The three thousand plus deserters from Black Square were forcibly trapped in this dead end, while more and more soldiers from the white side gathered at the Valley Opening area. From afar, it looked like a white flower had bloomed, with a population of at least fifty thousand.

The guide should be hacked into pieces! Tang Yin looked around the valley as he silently cursed in his heart.

The pitch-black cliff was as smooth as a mirror, not a single blade of grass growing on it. Even a top mountain climber would find it difficult to climb up the cliff, not to mention the fact that he didn't have any tools in his hand to do so.

Tang Yin was a person whose face did not change at all, but at this moment, he could not help but break out in a cold sweat.

Looking at the surrounding Black Armored Soldiers, their faces were all filled with despair. It was no wonder that they were in such a desperate situation; the number of soldiers on both sides was simply out of proportion. Moreover, most of the soldiers had neither armor nor weapons, and there were also countless of wounded soldiers on their bodies.

"Gulp ?" "Gulugulu ?"

The sound of shouting suddenly came from the mountain Valley Opening. With a loud and clear voice, it could be heard clearly from far away.

The shouts caused a commotion amongst the lifeless black armored soldiers, and many of them slowly straightened their bodies, walking towards the Valley Opening. Right at this moment, a black robed general roared out, shouting at the soldiers who wanted to advance towards Valley Opening. The rest of the soldiers who remained seated on the ground all revealed looks of disdain.

All the soldiers that were walking towards the Valley Opening lowered their heads, flushed red in the ears, and slowly sat back down on the ground.

Tang Yin didn't know what they were talking about, but he could guess what they were talking about. Obviously, Bai Fang had shouted to persuade them to surrender earlier, but some of the Black Group's people were moved.

This general was rather bold, not someone who was afraid of death! As he thought about it, Tang Yin couldn't help but take a few more glances. The man dressed as a general looked to be in his thirties, with a rough and fierce appearance. His face and body were covered in blood, making him look even more ferocious and terrifying.

Tang Yin retracted his gaze, and turned to look at the middle-aged man beside him.

The middle-aged man sensed his gaze and smiled bitterly at Tang Yin. Although Tang Yin could not understand what he was saying, but he could feel the sorrow and despair in's voice.

How would the other side deal with them? Tang Yin frowned as he pondered silently.

Seeing that there were no movements from the enemies in the valley, another shout came from the valley. However, this time, his tone was stern and cold, with the intention of a final warning.

Roar ~ ~

The leader of the generals suddenly turned around and shouted. At his summons, all the soldiers stood up and picked up their weapons.

Was it time for the final battle? Tang Yin laughed bitterly as he stood up with the rest. He did not know what kind of bad luck he had walked into, that he had somehow gotten himself into this dangerous situation. Until now, he still did not know where he was, or who the surrounding soldiers were.

As he was pondering, he suddenly heard a series of whistling sounds coming from the direction of Valley Opening. The sound got closer and closer, from a higher height, Tang Yin subconsciously looked up, and his eyes suddenly became round. He saw that countless black Eagle Feather Arrow arrows were flying in the sky, and they were so numerous that they covered the sky like a giant black cloth.

"Huh?" Tang Yin had never seen something like this before. He could not help but scream out, and at the same time, instinctively squatted down.

"Pu, Pu, Pu ?"

"Ah ?" "Ah ?"

The valley was empty and there was no place to hide nor any place to hide. The Arrow Rain fell down almost without any obstruction.

For a time, the sounds of metal colliding with metal weapons from the bottom of the valley, the muffled sound of a human body being pierced, and heart-rending screams of agony rang out. The dense, massive, and incomparably vicious array of arrows were like the open palm of the god of death, brazenly trampling and torturing all life it could lay its hands on.

The ones who suffered the most were the soldiers who threw away their shields when they were escaping. They didn't have any defensive equipment to block the arrows flying at them. Their bodies were nailed to the ground like porcupines in a pool of blood.

Although the shields had successfully protected the vital points of their upper bodies, they could not protect their legs. From time to time, the legs and feet of the soldiers would be pierced by the Eagle Feather Arrow and they would scream miserably as they fell to the ground.

This was not a war, but a one-sided massacre.
