C8 I Don't Want It!(8)
Not only did he look like an Englishman, but his height was also comparable. She stood at 5'6", yet in his arms, she seemed so petite. He must have been well over 6'1".
She stared blankly at the man in front of her and asked in a daze, "How tall are you?" His eyebrows furrowed slightly, and his hazel eyes took on a hint of aloofness.
"Six foot two," he replied, his voice a rich baritone, though it was as cold as ice. "Have you looked enough? If so, could you let go of me?"
His chilly tone made her shiver, and she awkwardly stepped back from his cool embrace, her cheeks slightly flushed as she apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... and, um, thank you."
Without waiting for a response, she dashed off, muttering to herself as she ran, "You, Youyou, you're so embarrassing, getting all flustered over a handsome guy."
As she recalled the man's face, she felt it was somewhat familiar, but no matter how hard she searched her memory, she couldn't place such a captivating face.
"I'm almost late, and here I am daydreaming," she chided herself, shaking her head to clear her thoughts, and began wandering aimlessly around the building in search of the elevator.
Yeh Yiming watched the small figure flee in panic, raising an eyebrow. Was it just his imagination, or did holding that woman feel oddly familiar?

After a long search, Qiao Youyou finally found the department where Su Ziqing worked. She was out of breath and couldn't help but complain, "Ziqing, your company is huge! I almost got lost."
Su Ziqing looked anxious, "Why did it take you so long to get here? I was worried sick!"
"You can't blame me! Your company is enormous, and it took me forever to find your department!" Qiao Youyou pouted in frustration.
"Never mind, you're here now." Su Ziqing said, stepping back to give her a once-over, frowning slightly. "Are you here for a date or a job interview?"
Qiao Youyou was speechless, thinking it sounded just like what Qiao Yuhao had said that morning. "Of course, I'm here for an interview. I wanted to look neat and make a good impression on the boss."
"Plans have changed," Su Ziqing said, pulling her hurriedly toward the restroom.
Qiao Youyou was puzzled as Su Ziqing shut the restroom door and handed her a bag of clothes. "Put these on."
"Is there something wrong with my outfit? Is it too formal?" She looked down at her attire, questioning herself. "It's not overly formal, just a regular outfit. The blush pink dress is quite eye-catching and nice."
"It's just too pretty and attention-grabbing. You need to change into this," Su Ziqing urged, pushing her gently while explaining, "You have no idea; the CEO's fiancée suddenly showed up today.
— If she sees someone as beautiful as you, do you think the HR manager will hire you? Can she really leave such a stunning woman around her fiancé? She'd have to be incredibly confident to let you stay!"
"Oh, I see!" Qiao Youyou finally understood. As they spoke, she had already changed into a black business suit, looking at her new attire.
