"When would you change, son? Obviously you're at it again, and I just saw a lady run out of your room naked, now you're planning something else?" Shiella barked.

"Just let me be, I'm no longer a kid, you can lecture Ergon instead. After all, he's your favorite son." He scoffed.

"You're my child too. Don't give up on yourself son, I'll look for the best doctor, be it a therapist or whatever, I'll get you treated." She said worriedly.

"You don't need to, mum, I'm fine, focus on your precious Ergon, he'll make you proud." Noah said and he left.

"I really want to help him. When will he change?" Shiella thought sadly.

She stared at space and she left also.

Noah went to his room and he screamed angrily.

"I hate you all!!." He yelled and he punched the wall.

"Arrrgh!" He winced painfully when he felt the pain. Blood was already gushing out.

Sweat filled his body, his breathing hitched, he staggered backwards trying to maintain his stance.

"Not again." He muttered and he rushed to his drawer.

He took out a bottle of pills, he put two pills in his mouth and he glued them down with a glass of water which was already on the table.

He heaved pathetically and he went into the bathroom to freshen up.

NEXT MORNING...

Valeria and Rita stood in front of Prestige High, they both couldn't stop smiling. Valeria felt like screaming so loudly, but she managed to control herself.

"Let's go mom, can't wait to see how the inside will look, I'm not okay standing here and staring at it." Valeria said impatiently. Rita laughed.

"Alright honey, let's go." Rita said.

They both met the guard in front of the school gate, they stated their purpose for being there, and he immediately let them in, but not without congratulating Valeria first. He was impressed when he heard she had passed the school exam and she came out first among all five students who had also passed the exam. It hadn't been an easy exam, so he was truly impressed.

When they both went in, they couldn't help but gasp at how enormous the school building was. It wasn't just big, but it was also beautiful.

"Where are all the students?" Valeria said.

"They must be in class already. Come on honey, we'll have to find the principal's office and get you sorted immediately, so you can start schooling with them today." Rita said.

"Okay mom, but how do we find our way around here? We'll definitely get lost with no direction," Valeria stated.

Rita's eyes scanned the environment, as if searching for someone, and thankfully, she saw a janitor coming their way.

"There, let's ask the janitor for directions." She said, pointing at a middle-aged lady who was holding a mop and a dustpan.

They both walked up to her.

"Excuse me, ma'am." Rita politely said, and the Janitor paused to speak to them.

"Yes, how can I help you?"

"Please, we're looking for the principal's office. My daughter just got a scholarship here, so we need to complete the registration." Rita said proudly. The janitor smiled.

"Congratulations dear." She said to Valeria.

"Thank you ma'am."

"Come with me, I'll take you there." The janitor said.

"Thank you so much." Rita sighed.

The janitor nodded, then she led the way to the principal's office.

It was a pretty long walk there, due to how big the school was, Valeria took her time in admiring the whole place as they walked, and her excitement only increased.

Finally, they arrived at the principal's office.

"We're here." The janitor said.

"Thank you so much for your kindness. I'm truly grateful for this," Rita said.

"It's alright." The janitor smiled.

"Thank you ma'am." Valeria added.

"It's nothing, I'll leave now." The janitor said, then she left.

Rita heaved a deep breath before placing a knock on the door.

"Come in." They heard someone say from inside.

"Let's go." Rita stated. She opened the door, then she went in, and Valeria followed.

Valeria and Rita had already completed the whole registration at the principal's office, they both stood outside the school building as it was time for Rita to leave now.

"You take care honey, and have fun at school today, it's your first day, and I expect you to tell me everything that'll happen when you get home, okay."

"Sure mom, I will." Valeria smiled.

"Alright, I won't keep you any longer? Go change into your uniform and be sure to follow the map so you don't get lost, okay?"

"Okay mom, I'll do that." Valeria laughed.

Her mother hugged her briefly, they said goodbye, then she left.

Valeria waited until her mother was out of sight before going inside.

She went to the hallway and she sighed in relief when she didn't see anyone. She raised the map the principal gave to her and began going through it.

"This is so confusing, reading a map ain't that easy." She mentally groaned as she stared at the map.

She was so lost in trying to understand the map that she didn't notice anyone running towards her.

Her gaze moved to the name tag pinned in his breast pocket, and she mentally said his name.
