I woke up with a start.
The sun rays filtered into my room, as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. For the first time in days, I slept well.
Still sleepy and groggy, I turned to the table beside my bed, where my vintage clock sat. A small smile crept to my face, remembering that it was a gift from my father.
