C13 Chapter 13

"Just a thank you, beautiful lady," he said.

Then he grabbed my hand and scratched his neck.

"Hehe! Your hand is so soft, lady," he said.

I just looked away as Yellow and Red came close to me.

"You're cheating, Blue!! They can touch you, but we can't!!!" complained Yellow.

"So unfair! You were even kissed on the hand!! I want that too!" Red pouted, while stomping his feet.

"Ha ha ha!"

The former mermaids laughed.

"THANK YOU," said one of the former mermaids.

"We have been trapped in the black magic of the queen for almost five years, and finally we are free." said the woman.

Five years?

"We came from the Water Kingdom and the Ice Kingdom," they said.

And the one who kissed my hand is from the Ice Kingdom.

I caught him staring at me.

He was still smiling.

So I gave him a dirty look, but he just laughed.

Hmph! He laughed but he is cute.

They seem to be friends with the one who punched me.

They have their arms around each other.

"May we know the name of the one who saved us?" asked one of the men. There are about twenty of them here.

And they are not affected by our gaze because they are not evil.

"Blue," I said.

"Red."

"Yellow."

"Wow! Nice names," one of them whispered.

The two who kissed my hand and punched me approached me.

"My name is Yimin, my lady," said the one who kissed my hand, whispering "my lady" but I could hear it.

"Sorry for what I did earlier, Blue. I'm Yidel," he said with a smile. He was the one who punched me.

"Who's the eldest among you?" I asked, bored.

"I am Yidel Kir Icers, and this is my brother Yimin Lir Icers," he said with a smile.

So all the former mermaids bowed.

"You are the prince," they said.

"Prince of what?" I asked.

"They are the other two children of the king and queen in the Ice Kingdom," said the woman.

No wonder they're handsome, they're princes.

I just watched them as they were happily chatting and excited to see their separated family.

Some were even crying because they were about to see their mom and dad.

They're lucky to have a chance to see their parents.

"Just curious," Yimin said.

I watched Red laughing with Yidel, who touched him and made him fall.

"Xiandrellyn Blue is my full name," I said.

And I looked at Yimin.

Seeing him staring at me

So I grinned.

"No wonder I feel like I'm melting," I said.

He blushed and looked away.

Hahaha, I caught him, but he still looked away.

I turned my attention to Yellow, who was trying to touch a man.

So he retreated and sat down when she grounded him.

Yellow quickly stood up and pouted.

"So unfair," I heard her say.

"You must miss your family," I said quietly, so Yimin looked at me and turned away.

"Ah, yes, I miss them so much. My brother Yidel and I left because our mother and father wanted us to marry unknown women," he said, so

I looked at Yimin.

His eyes were sad but it was clear he was eager to see his family.

"I also miss my brothers who used to tease me about being gay, haha, I miss that time."

"Maybe you are gay," I said.

His eyes widened as he looked at me.

"I'm not gay! I'm a real man, you know!"

"Really? Oh, okay, if you say so," I said. No point in arguing.

And I looked towards Red and Yellow.

When I noticed Yimin was quiet.

He was looking into my eyes, then he stared at my lips for a while, then looked back into my eyes.

Maybe he would kiss me.

So I pushed him.

"Hahahahahaha," he laughed.

He was definitely tempted earlier.

He laughed until he held his stomach.

Yimin kept teasing me.

And Red teased Yidel while Yellow teased Kier.

Kier, they say, is Yimin's cousin, cold and silent.

We looked at the sky and saw

Winged horses.

Wow! It looks fun to ride one of those!

There were many winged horses, and one caught my eye with a kind of carriage but without a roof.

A woman with gray hair, a man, and a young boy were riding in it.

Yimin and I stood up.

We backed up.

And saw them bow when the people on it disembarked.

They seemed like a king and queen because they wore crowns.

Yidel and Yimin ran and hugged them.

"Their family is so sweet, Blue," said Yellow.

"Hmm, they seem like a happy family," I answered.

"We will also find our parents, guys! Don't lose hope," said Red.

The king and queen also hugged Kier.

We were surprised when Yimin pointed us out.

And they gestured for us to come closer.

I distanced myself because maybe they couldn't touch me.

The king and queen were about to approach me, so I backed up.

I accidentally bumped into Red and Yellow.

I was surprised when Yimin caught me while Yidel caught Red and slowly lowered her because she was burning, while Kier braced himself on the ground to catch Yellow.

Yimin had me in a back hug.

So I quickly disentangled myself.

I saw the king and queen, as well as their companions, were surprised.

Red and Yellow came closer to me.

But kept their distance.

"We apologize," I said, bowing.

Thankfully, he didn't turn into ice.

"It's okay, thank you for saving our children," the queen said, tears in her eyes.

Red and Yellow were behind me, bowing.

The queen hugged me.

So this is what it feels like to be hugged, it's light.

"That's nothing," I said with a smile.

"Sorry for what happened earlier," I said.

"It's okay, child, but why did that happen?" the king asked.

"We don't know either," Red said softly.

"We need to go home now. Thank you again, girls," said the queen and king.

We smiled.

They rode the winged horses.

I think they are called Pegasus.

But I frowned at what I read in the king's mind.

'She looks like them.'

Yimin was the only one who didn't ride.

They laughed.

We watched them leave.

Yimin called out after me.

"I will find you, Xiandrellyn!!!!"

He shouted.

And they left.

"Yieeeee, lucky you, Blue," said Yellow as they disappeared from our sight.

"He! He just took advantage of me," I said.

"You told him your name," Red said.

"Yes, he asked, so I just answered. Let's go, we need to get out of this forest," I said and
