I watched as Damien walked out of the room. His words were ringing endlessly in my head. I tried to put an end to it, but it wouldn’t stop.

‘Let my words sink in. You would always be seen as nothing in my eyes.’

I felt shattered and broken, and to make things worse, there was no one I could talk to. My mother wouldn’t want to hear that I had messed things up again
