C12 Outdoor Practice

Ava had finished her last exam and felt relieved as she said goodbye to her roommates. She knew she wouldn't see them again until after winter break. As she made her way to the university entrance, she was greeted by the shooting club members, who were all gathered and waiting for her. Jack, the team captain, and Parker, the vice-captain, stood at the front of the group.

"Hey Ava, how was your last exam?" Jack asked, grinning.

"It was good. I'm just glad it's over," Ava smiled.

Parker handed her a duffel bag and said, "Here's your gear. We're heading to the shooting range at the military camp. It's about an hour away, so let's get going."

Ava took the bag and followed the group onto the bus. As they drove towards the camp, the team members chatted about their past shooting experiences and what they hoped to achieve during the training.

Ava listened intently, feeling intimidated by their confidence and skill level. She had never shot a gun before joining the club and was nervous about her abilities.

But as they arrived at the camp, Ava took a deep breath and reminded herself why she had joined in the first place - to challenge herself and learn something new. She was ready for the training ahead.

Ava had enjoyed her time at the shooting club so far, and she was curious to see what the outdoor training session would be like. She gratefully accepted the offer, and Jack introduced her to the club's other members, including Parker, the vice-captain.

As they boarded the bus, Ava noticed that the other club members seemed to be in high spirits. They were all chatting and laughing, excited about the training ahead. Parker gave a brief speech, reminding everyone to behave and persist with their training.

"If you don't, you'll receive punishment later," he warned.

The club's senior members seemed to take his words to heart and nodded their agreement. However, Ava couldn't help but wonder what kind of punishment they discussed.

The club members grew quieter as the bus pulled into the military camp. They knew they were in a restricted place now. Jack reminded them to stay focused and not be intimidated by the surroundings. They would be treated with respect as long as they behaved appropriately.

As they entered the camp, they were met by a group of soldiers who checked their bags for prohibited items. The captain of the soldiers took a look at Ava's bag and said, "Don't worry, we have a female soldier who will do the checking for you."

Ava felt relieved and grateful for the consideration. As the soldiers checked their bags, Ava looked around at her surroundings. The camp was filled with military personnel going about their business. She could see the shooting range in the distance, and her excitement grew.
