Alpha Logan must have noticed the gloomy look on my face the moment he entered the room. His eyes narrowed slightly with concern, but I could see the excitement bubbling just beneath the surface.

"Aria, what's the matter?" he asked.

I forced a smile, hoping it looked convincing. "Nothing, Alpha Logan . I'm just happy that our child is finally here."
