C2 Love at The First Sight
"Dr. Darell!"
Darell turned to look at the person who was calling his name in a tone full of arrogance. Beside him, Damar - a specialist in internal medicine threw a questioning look. Dr. Fariz walked with hasty steps toward the two young doctors. On both sides, the assistants tried their best to keep up with Fariz's fast pace.
"What do you mean by taking Ben out of the research team?" It snaps without a warning.
Darell and Damar exchanged a confused glance.
"Do you mean Benny Dollo?" Damar asked to make sure. He immediately fell silent when he received a sharp look from the senior doctor.
"You don't need to meddle, Damar. Your level isn't that high to be worth arguing with me." Fariz hissed. He had a special feeling of sentiment toward Areta's favorite doctor - the hospital owner.
Dammar was shocked. His mouth opened to rebound the insult aimed at him but Darell moved faster and stop it before he could.
Seeing how Fariz's doctor attacked Damar, Darell pulled Damar back a few steps. "Sorry doctor, we'd better talk about this in the meeting room. It's not good to raise your voice in front of patients." Darell said trying to lower the tension which started to rise.
Some patients swarm around them, to be interested in witnessing the commotion that was taking place. Even the nurses and other residents were there to watch the free drama.
"No need for further ado, Dr. Darell. I know you had a special purpose in kicking my nephew off of the team. You must be trying to cover up and dominate the students' research results." Fariz's accusation is fierce.
Darell sighed heavily to suppress his anger. He can't get provoked by his unreasonable insult. "No, doctor Fariz. I don't mean anything. You'd better ask Benny about the cause of this problem directly."
"Ah, this is just your excuse. You definitely-"
"Doc, stop it. The chairman is coming!" Said Rahmad, one of the assistants who came along with Fariz.
He had just received a notification via a short message that was broadcast through the hospital member group.
"Just wait for my revenge Darell," Fariz still managed to throw a threat before walking away with his two colleagues.
"What do you waiting for? Go back to whatever your job is," Rahmad snapped. Dismissing any crowds that block their path.
"Are you okay?" Damar asked.
Darell shrugged his shoulders in reply. He was also confused as to what kind of expression he should express because honestly, Darell didn't understand what was going on.
"Let's go to the ER right away."
Darell nodded and the two of them followed the steps, back to the original plan.

"You go in first, Areta. Doctor Rayyan is waiting upstairs. I'll park first." Hanny said as soon as the car she was driving stopped in front of the hospital lobby.
Areta nodded understandingly. She immediately entered the hospital — Heart Jewel. The only place where the JH Group's powers don't apply. The hospital was inherited by her mother without the names of Johnson or Hadi attached. The hectic work schedule makes Areta rarely appear at the hospital, the entire bureaucracy is handed over to Doctor Rayyan, Jasmine's— Areta's mother's best friend. Areta only appears at meetings and therapy schedules or comes occasionally to meet Damar.
Today, Areta came to attend an impromptu meeting to discuss the continuation of the proposal put forward by Rayyan. After that, Areta and Hanny will meet their best friend, Damar - a specialist doctor who is nicknamed ‘The sexiest doctor of the year’. No one knows what happened, suddenly the man to meet this morning.
Areta stopped in her tracks, her eyes fixed on the handsome face who was smiling kindly at the little girl sitting in a wheelchair. Areta looked at the figure she hadn't seen in a long time. Her blood boiled, she longed for the owner of that smile.
“It never changes, that smile is still as beautiful as it was ten years ago,” Areta thought.
"Don't forget to take your medicine, okay?" the owner of the smile stroked the patient's hair gently.
Areta mustered up his courage, there was a magnet that pulled her legs to come closer and greet the figure that had filled her heart for a long time. But she stop before even moving her heart. Reality dawned on her as soon as the figure moved away pushing his patient's wheelchair.
A ridiculous laugh appeared on Areta's face, cursing his foolishness. “Idiot, in ten years I never dared to approach him. Why now do I have the thought of greeting him? I'm sure, that man never remembers the meeting between the two,” Areta thought.
After the figure disappeared behind the door of the emergency room, Areta immediately continued her steps towards Rayyan's doctor's room.

Ten years ago,
Areta moaned softly, her breath felt heavy. She squeezed his chest which was throbbing in pain. “Why has my body been getting weaker lately?” She mumbled.
Areta took a deep breath to calm her breathing, but the tightness she felt was getting more intense. Areta reached for the nearest wall, and leaned her body, looking for a hand. She felt her vision getting blurry as her breathing became heavier.
"Shit! It must be because I forgot about the medicine this morning," Living on drugs as a crutch made Areta sick. She often deliberately forgot about the drugs she had taken for years.
The pain that grew stronger made Areta's body slowly collapse to the floor. She lowered her head, pressing her chest harder while groaning in pain.
"Are you having difficulty breathing?"
A voice made Areta's consciousness slowly reach back to surf the ace. She looked up, her eyes faintly catching the image of a man's face looking at her with concern. In her pain, Areta was still trying to ward off the hand that was about to touch her forehead, making the man startled.
"Don't," Areta hissed in a gasping voice, her forehead furrowed in pain.
The man paid close attention to the condition of the woman who was groaning in pain in front of him and then nodded in understanding. He took out a brown envelope from his bag, puffed it up, and then pointed it in front of Areta's face.
“Breathe slow,” His orders.
Areta glanced at it for a moment before receiving the envelope. After following the directions, Areta slowly calmed down with relief when his breath stopped. Areta's vision gradually improved, allowing him to see the face of someone who was staring at him. Handsome is the first word that comes to Areta's mind.
“Thanks.” Said the handsome face. His hands moved over the screen of the phone. It wasn't long before he was talking to someone behind his cell phone and ended up with a sigh of relief.
“You have a panic attack. Breathe slowly and relax your body I've already called an ambulance, it'll be here soon, you'll get medical help right away," he explained.
She doesn't know what kind of demon suddenly possessed her, but Areta closed her eyes, listening to every word that faces faceted. A sense of comfort and security made Areta's consciousness decline, she let her body sleep in peace.
The next day Areta went back to Damar and Hanny's campus. Not to meet his two friends, the goal this time was to meet people who had helped him. The owner of that handsome face seemed to bewitch Areta's thoughts. Makes her keep thinking and want to see again see his face.
"What are you doing?"
Areta turned his head to find Damar who was looking at him with a worried face mixed with irritation.
This morning, as soon as he opened the door to the infirmary, Damar did not find Areta anywhere. All hospital staff was dispatched to find the woman. Luckily Grandpa installed a GPS tracker on Areta's phone so they could find him. The thing that surprised everyone the most was the location of the tracker showing Areta's position on the Damar and Hanny campuses. It's not uncommon for Areta to appear on this campus without informing Damar or Hanny first. After all, Areta doesn't study or has important business on this campus.
"Ah,"
"Ahhh?" Damar wrinkled his forehead. "You ran away from the hospital just to come to this campus?" He shouted.
Damar's voice was deep, showing his frustration with Areta's answer. While Areta just threw him an innocent smile as if she didn't know what that was.
"I just stopped by," she said.
Damar hissed in annoyance. He grabbed Areta's hand, dragging her back to the hospital. The doctor stated that Areta's condition was not stable enough and that at any time her panic attacks could get back, but instead she ran away from the hospital just to go for a walk.
Damar's steps stopped when the hand in his grip withdrew. He turned to look for other excuses that Areta would say but all he found was a sad face with his eyes looking straight at the hall of the medical campus.
“Do you know senior Darell?” Damar Investigate. He was surprised that Areta kept staring at the handsome figure who was surrounded by women.
Areta turned, responding to Damar's question with a question. "Do you know him?"
"Sure. He's the most famous senior in the medical department." Damar said.
Areta nodded understandingly. She was silent for a moment and then turned to drag Damar's hand away from that place.
