C4 Bad Memories
"Since all the leaders are present, let's start the meeting, this time we will discuss the construction of a PTSD rehabilitation center which was launched by Doctor Rayyan."
Areta looked around, sweeping one by one the faces of the higher-ups. As soon as her feet entered the door, she could already feel the tension in her breath that made her sigh lazily. It is common knowledge that the internal hospital board of directors is divided into two camps. The pros and cons of Dr. Rayyan's leadership and today the aura of discord between the two camps is clearly shown. Areta glanced at Rayyan's doctor who seemed calm sitting beside him. At first glance, the middle-aged man had explained his plan and Areta didn't see any significant problems with the proposal. All are planned with the appropriate portion and function.
"We talked about it last month, what else is there to discuss?" Areta said opening the meeting today. Immediately an aura of restlessness rose among the meeting followers.
"Look, chairman, we think the construction of this rehabilitation center is inefficient, it's just a waste of funds. We can't even produce tires-"
"Who do you mean 'we' doctor Fariz?" Interrupted one of the doctors on Rayyan's side.
"I and several other colleagues agreed with the director's proposal. After all, the hospital's vision and mission are to save more lives instead of increasing profits."
It's true, all this time Areta has never focused on the multiple benefits of this hospital. More precisely, she never took a single profit from the hospital, every income was used for hospital operations. As long as this hospital continues to function as it does and ensures that her mother's condition is well. Areta doesn't care about the profit.
The debate between the two camps continued with various arguments which made Areta bored. One of the camps wants a bigger profit, so they recommend the construction of a VVIP ward which will invite many high-ranking officials of this country to stay overnight just for cliché reasons, they make the hospital like a five-star hotel that can issue a sick certificate as an excuse for them to have fun. On the other side, there are supporters of Doctor Rayyan, who have very different intentions from the one who proposed, they support the construction of a rehabilitation center to boost the popularity of the hospital in the eyes of state officials. Of course, this is the beginning of a long journey towards the same goal of attracting deep-pocketed patients.
Areta was starting to get annoyed with the clash of the two camps, she sighed heavily. "That's enough! I don't have much time to hear your end-to-end explanation."
Areta signed a paper on the approval for the construction of a PTSD rehabilitation center and handed it over to Doctor Rayyan. "Tio will take care of everything," said Areta, which was greeted by a small nod from doctor Rayyan.
"The rehabilitation center will be built away from settlements as planned." Areta could hear disappointed sighs from the people before him. She smiled sarcastically, "and the addition of the VVIP ward will be done in the last quarter of this year as long as you can improve the performance of the ER and ED." The breakup brought a glimmer of a smile to the faces that had previously looked disappointed at his decision.

"Areta,"
Hanny approached Areta, who was busy checking the pile of documents that Rayyan had left for her.
"Didn't I tell that nagging uncle a thousand times to get this pile out of my sight?!" Areta's mind was annoyed.
Areta turned her attention for a moment, staring at the face before her. "What is wrong?"
Hanny looked at his boss nervously. she hesitated to convey the news she had just heard. Hanny was sure Areta would explode upon hearing that.
"Han,"
"Areta, I was in the staffing section."
"So?" Areta started to get excited to see Hanny who was rambling.
"I heard Doctor Darell is suspended."
Areta frowned. “Suspension? I didn't receive any reports of that."
"Maybe this is what Damar wanted to say this afternoon."
Areta sighed lazily. “Who issued the order?”
"Dr. Fariz."
Areta's expression hardened. "Bring him here," her orders.

"Areta,"
Fariz entered Areta's room cheerfully. His voice sounded cheerful when he greeted the owner of the room, while the person he greeted only looked cold.
"Dr. Fariz."
"Ah, don't be so rigid with me nephew," said Fariz trying to look familiar with his nephew who was only five years younger than him.
“While in this hospital environment, I have to be professional. It's not like that, Doctor Fariz," Areta insinuated.
"Doctor Fariz, what is the reason for you to suspend Dr. Darell?"
Fariz's face turns sour. All this time he had been trying hard to attract the attention of his nephew, but Areta refused. The woman had no interest in the family relationship between them. He crossed his legs, resting on the other. Trying to appear calm under Areta's intimidation.
“I did what I should have done. Doctor Darell was sloppy in his duties."
"The doctor on duty at the ER has explained the problem and I don't see where Darell's fault lies. Shouldn't it be your wife's nephew to blame?"
Fariz was silent, looking for the right reason to distract Areta from the problems that occurred in the emergency room this morning. His wife would be furious if her nephew was discharged from this hospital.
“The person who has full control over any decisions at this hospital is me as the owner of the hospital and I leave the representation to Dr. Rayyan. Why would someone else give orders without the consent of both of us?”
Fariz tightly squeezed his fingers into a fist. He didn't accept Areta's tone of voice and gaze which seemed to mock him. "I'm a Hadi, of course, I have rights to this hospital as well."
BRACK!
Fariz jumped in surprise because of the sound of the folder slamming on the table. His face turned pale, it was clear he was feeling scared at this time. Areta has a sinister aura, just like his two grandfathers.
"No one can interfere in this hospital, neither Hadi nor Johnson. Please remember that carefully!"
Areta groaned deeply, she threw the map in her grip on the floor. "Get out!"

Dealing with Fariz made her emotions get out of control. Fariz often brings Hadi's name into the hospital's scope. In fact, from the beginning, Areta clearly emphasized that the Hadi family's power would not apply to this hospital. Hadi's name is known as a family with hereditary doctor titles. Almost all members of the family have the status of the best specialist in the country. One of them is Jasmine Ariana Hadi, who is the only legal heir to Hadi hospital, Jasmine's interest in neurology led her to establish a treatment center for people with Schizophrenia and Alzheimer's rather than inheriting her father's big hospital.
Jasmine's decision makes her relationship with the family strained. The chairman wanted his daughter to take over the responsibilities of being the director of the hospital he had painstakingly founded but his daughter preferred to run a social institution that didn't provide any benefits. As time went on, it turned out that Melati's hard work in bringing her small medical center into a hospital that was recognized by the government. This makes the father proud and turns to support the movement of his daughter.
Fragile family relationships were restored. Until a proposal came along, the owner of the Johnson Group wanted Jasmine to be his daughter-in-law. Seeing the background of the Johnson family, of course, Mr. Hadi immediately accepted the proposal. Both parties agreed to marry off their sons and daughters without seeking the consent of both. Not wanting any more conflict, Jasmine chose to surrender to her father's decision. Until the marriage happened and gave birth to a daughter.
The heavy pressure of a loveless marriage made Jasmine choose to end her life and end up in a coma until now. This catastrophe spawned a dispute between the two families. An angry Mr. Hadi tries to take over the custody of his only grandson to live with him. However, what he got was only rejection from Areta who preferred to live under Johnson's care.

"Are you okay, Areta?" Hanny asked worriedly when she saw Areta massage her head.
"Hanny, tell HRD to cancel Dr. Darell's suspension."
"Is the matter over?" Ask Hanny to make sure.
Areta grimaced softly. "What can Fariz do?" she said as if she was mocking Fariz's ridiculous behavior.
Hanny chuckled. "Well, he can only brag."
"Okay, give me fifteen minutes." Areta got up from his chair.
"I'll finish the paperwork and catch up with you," Hanny replied without asking further. She knows where Areta is going. She must have gone to her mother's room.
Areta nodded briefly and quickly left the room.

"Mom, Reta is coming," whispered Areta. Her eyes looked sadly at the body that had been lying for eighteen years in the hospital bed.
Areta clutched the hand, looking for the warmth he missed. Tears slowly dripped down, falling down her fingers on his mother's hand.
“Mom, when are you awake? Areta misses him." Areta tightened her grip as she wished the body to move.
