49. Mu Fei's engagement.

Early in the morning.

Tang Siyu woke up at seven and brought little Xi downstairs to have breakfast. After that, she sent him to school and around eight o'clock she was free.

She bought some vegetables and went back to prepare her lunch. Just as she entered, she saw that the elevator was about to close and called out, "Please wait."

Then she quickly squeezed in with her bag of vegetables. But when she saw the man in the elevator, her clear, watery eyes suddenly widened and showed a trace of resentment.

"You ... Why are you looking for me again?" Tang Siyu looked up angrily at the tall man.

Hsing Lieh'han crossed his arms and smirked. "Who said I'm looking for you?"

At noon, she cooked two dishes and ate alone. Dinner was the most abundant meal, as the child was growing and nutrition must be adequate.

Tang Siyu played the piano for a while in the afternoon, but she always missed notes, so she eventually gave up the practice. She stayed in a reverie until it was time to take the child from school.

She was a little worried that Hsing Lieh'han would be ahead of her. So she had to go to school early to bring her son home.

She saw Hsing Lieh'han's expression. He was looking displeased at the woman who cut in line, but he pursed his lips and did not say anything.

After entering the school, Tang Siyu quickly walked to the small class where her son was. Behind her, Hsing Lieh'han was coming unhurriedly. The parents around him recognized him and greeted him with respect and caution. He bowed his head in response with an indifferent expression.

The moment Tang Siyu entered the classroom, Tang Yixi called to her, "Mommy, you're here."

Tang Yixi had thought she came alone, but then he saw Daddy. He smiled in surprise and asked, "Mommy, did you come with daddy to pick me up together?"

Tang Yixi looked at Hsing Lieh'han happily. "Daddy, will you come to pick me up from school from now on?"

Hsing Lieh'han smiled and answered seriously. "Yes, I will."

"Yay! From now on, you and Mommy will pick me up from school every day." The little guy was so happy.
