Liam did not move for a few seconds and then slowly walked towards the bed before he sat on it.

I followed him with my eyes and turned to face him completely. We were both a good ten or so steps away from each other.

As he sat on the bed, he took out his suit jacket and placed it on the floor by the side of the bed.
