Somehow, tonight was a little bit colder than most.

Probably because of the thunderstorm that was approaching.

I shut the windows and put the blinds on before making my way to the bed.

Lying flat on my belly, I resumed my reading session. But my thoughts instantly strayed away from my book to Liam.

It was close to midnight and everyone had already departed for their bedrooms
