C6 Like a soaked little pussy

(Like a soaked little puppy)

(Gemini pov)

"I hope I didn't keep everyone waiting. The traffic in New York is dreadful" A sincere smile formed at the corners of his lips as he took a sit opposite me.

My hands turned sweltering as he assured me of our meeting, making me wonder if he was joking. My dad coughs lightly bringing me back to reality.

"Mr. Sinclair, I would love to introduce you to my daughter, Gemini," Dad said eagerly, his face illuminating with a smile.

"She will be giving the presentation" All eyes were on me, and Gustavo's face turned pale as he gestured, questioning if my dad was serious.

"I'm looking forward to it, Gemini," he said, his voice smoothly articulating my name

I stood up, adjusting my outfit and clutching the piles of documents tightly in my hands. I knew this was bound to be a disaster. I gave my dad a pleading look, but he brushed it off.

Gustavo, aware of how this would inevitably end, placed a hand on his brows as he furrowed it. How dare he! My pride got the best of me as I faced the serious faces in front of me.

The room buzzed with tension as I explained how our groundbreaking new technology was going to reshape the field of medicine. Questions flooded in from all angles, leaving me a little overpowered. I frantically filtered through each file, searching for valuable information to subdue their doubts. My palms grew damp with nervousness.

One particular individual fixed his gaze on me, carefully choosing his words. "What if this technology were to fail during surgery? you are asking me to take a risk, Miss Saint" My eyes are now fixed on him, his tone sharp and skeptical.

I interrupted him, trying to clarify my point. "That's not what I was trying to explain .... the technology we have...." but before I could finish, he abruptly cut me off.

"Your technology offers no guarantee, Imagine I came to you with something completely phenomenal and asked you to trust me without any safety measures or questions asked." he declared, his serious tone laced with skepticism.

Embarrassed, I reluctantly admitted, "No" My father's eyes with a mix of anger and disappointment.

Gustavo gave me a pitiful look, shooting me a pleading glance, silently begging me not to answer any more questions. But my stubbornness prevailed.

"You've placed your trust in this company by being here today. Many others may have offered, but they trust Saint Global's technology to deliver. Trust is supposed to be our number one asset among investors. We are offering the best with....." I couldn't finish my sentence before he let out a mocking laugh, shattering the silence that had settled over the room.

"Do you know the job of a cardiologist?" he asked, his posture stiff and his gaze icy. I could feel the intensity of his words as if he was about to pounce and tear me apart

"Yeah, of course," I replied nervously, attempting to lighten the atmosphere with a laugh "Who doesn't".

He smirked, his eyes fixated on my father. " you are asking me to put lives at risk based on trust" he said mockingly, he stood up, towering over me.

"You raised one hell of a daughter, that thinks all life is futile" he addressed my father with a hint of amusement.

"We will talk Mr Saint, I think I prefer speaking to you instead" he gave my dad a warm gesture

"I'm sorry, it seems like I failed her" I could tell that my dad was utterly ashamed and disappointed in me, they both exchanged pleasantries and shook hands.

"I'll walk you out, Mr Sinclair" Gustavo interrupted, swiftly guiding the investor out of the conference room. As the door closed behind them, the room suddenly felt small and suffocating. I wish the ground would open and swallow me whole, desperate to escape from the humiliation and regret that filled the Air

As I met her once more, I contemplated whether to give credit for it to fate or a mere coincidence. But as her presence kindled a hint of hope within me, doubts crept in. Was I too harsh on her during this encounter? Did I give her enough reason to despise me, humiliating her in front of all those people? Peharb I dashed any chance of even a slim shot.

Lost in thought, my hand tightened its grip on the steering wheel, reflecting the speeding beat of my heart. And yet a wicked smile twitched at the corner of my lips as I considered the possibilities that lie ahead with Gemini Victoria Saint, the heiress of Saint Global.

The perfect audacity of it all sparked laughter from deep within me. This twisted game we could play promises endless entertainment. With adrenaline-fueled bursts of energy, I sped up the engine and set off at breakneck, leaving behind any remains of hesitation in the dust.

There was no turning back now. This encounter would unfold with its own rules, its dance of fate and opportunity, and I was ready to take it all in stride.

Our paths intertwined once more, as the wind surged through my hair, I couldn't help but wonder what lay in store. Fate may have brought us together, but it was up to me to navigate this treacherous road with grace and finesse.

(Tiara pov)

"I hope your efforts are appreciated, after going through hell for those ungrateful people" I glanced over at Nanny Laura, who gave me a disapproving look, but I dismissed her, she was just a lowly servant.

"You know how your father is," my mom said, attempting to portray herself as the dutiful wife. "He is not my father" I muttered, my gaze fixed on Nanny Laura and the maids.

"Regardless, we still have to do it. I don't want to hear any complaints from that old toad", my mom snapped, her eyes filled with frustration as she crushed a tube of tomato paste. "I detest them". Her words hung in the air as she suddenly realized the presence of the maids and Nanny Laura, causing her to stare at them in shock.

As Mom angrily dismissed the maids, I silently trailed behind Nanny Laura as she made her way toward the cottage built by Gemini's mother. Just as she reached the outside, her phone began to ring. With a sense of urgency, she made sure no one was following her before she answered.

"Hello, madam" I heard nanny Laura say "You were right. Those two were up to no good.... they are.."

I couldn't let her reveal any more information. Before she could speak any further, I swiftly snatched the phone from her grasp.

"Hello, Grandma," I greeted, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "Since you rarely bother to call and check on me, I can only assume I must have offended you." my wicked smile grew as I took pleasure in causing her discomfort. With that, I ended the call.

My frustration with Nanny Laura boiled over and I tightly gripped her uniform collar, ready to unleash my anger upon her frail, wrinkled body. But before I could carry out my vengeful act, someone intervened and halted me.

"Hello, Gustavo" I greeted warmly, a smile creeping onto my face as I observed Nanny Laura retreating in fear towards the main house. Gustavo grabbed my arm tightly pulling me closer, his face a few inches from mine.

"Are you out of your mind, what if someone sees you? Do you even think" his tone was harsh and quick, filled with concern.

" But Gustavo, That old hag has been collecting information about me and my mom, and sending it to that old rat." I retorted, managing to break free from his grip

"Don't you dare ruin my plan, you understand me" his eyes burned with warning as he leaned back. "Am sure, they must have arrived, you should head back inside" he added as he walked away

The air in the room was heavy with suspense, the absence of sound filling the space like a suffocating fog. I couldn't quite decipher what had happened between Gemini and her father, but it was clear from the aura that she had once messed up again.

Uncle George, ever the optimist, tried to bring some lightness to the situation. "So, how was work, Gemini?" he asked, a hopeful smile on his face. "I heard the investor was quite tough today".

Gemini's face turned cold, and her fork clattered onto the plate untouched. The anger in her eyes was obvious as she directed her stare toward my mother. "Did you?", she spat, her voice filled with venom.

My stepfather already fuming with anger, lashed out. "Show some respect, Gemini!, that's your uncle," he yelled his hand crushing the table in an outburst of frustration.

"He is not my uncle, he is your lovely new wife's brother, so I would appreciate it if you kept my business away from them" Gemini's eye sparkled with mischief. This was getting amusing and I couldn't help but enjoy the show. It didn't require much effort on my part and my mom's to witness them at each other throats.

"If only your temper was as good as your brain. where did I go wrong with you? I bet your mom will be turning in her grave, realizing that you grew up to be a disappointment, a disgrace, an embarrassment to everything we work hard for"

A heavy silence engulfed the entire house. Gemini's eyes darkened, and she struggled to maintain her composure. I longed to see the explosion unfold. Meanwhile, I savored the flavorful taste of fresh lobster meat served in a buttery roll.

"Honey, please take it easy, the poor girl has been through enough" My mom pleaded, playing her role perfectly. A smirk formed on my lips. Impressed by her acting skills.

In a fit of anger, Gemini pushed herself out of her chair, rising to her feet with fury. Her dad shouted for her to sit back down, but deep down, I wanted to witness her obedience, to see her break like a soaked little puppy.

"You forgot, Dad I'm not your little girl anymore. You have no control over me" Gemini retorted, A smirk playing across her face, it was a twist I hadn't anticipated, as we all watched her storm out of the house.

"Gemini" I watch him call her, with anger and satisfaction. She was good I had to admit. Giving me enough reason to hate her more
