C17 Chapter 17

Jimmy was seen in his office attending to a woman who took the case of a robbery attack to him. According to the woman's report, no life was lost, but she lost her new car. She said she was attacked on her way home from work. Jimmy questioned her all he could to know whether she still saw the same number of guys that did attack Bar Louis' house. But the woman told him that he only saw two men, but they were masked and armed. He put calls across to officers officiating in the area where the robbery attack happened, but they did not know such. He told them the stolen car's vehicle number and asked them to search the city to whether they may see it.

Furthermore, he also encouraged the woman not to lose hope that they'll find the car. The woman was panting, seriously lamenting she hasn't used the car for two months. Jimmy encouraged her as he could. Then collected the information he needed to carry on with the investigation and dismissed her.

… This even reminds me of Barrister Louis' case. How are rare Sandra and Jessy? As I keep being busy occasionally, it's depriving me of many things. I'll check on Zick to know the way forward because I don't just know what to do. Jimmy mumbled those words to himself.

As he closed n their usual spot. They exchanged pleasantries and had themselves seated.

Zick how far about that Barrister Louis' case, any interesting update? Jimmy asked Zick.

Not really. Since you told me what happened, and you sent Sandra to Enugu, I've not been serious about the case.

Does that mean that the case is about to die a natural death? It's not fair now!

That's true Zick! You just opened my eyes to see more hidden dangers if we're to continue, and also to see more solutions, we can use to get those people judged by the law.
