C1005 Lost Star Mystic Rune

In most cases, the Voidfarers active in extraterrestrial regions are manned by Otherkin. When humans and archdemons emerge from the Everlands, they already have the ability to glide through the Star River using their own strength, often eschewing the need for external aids. Moreover, it is through this very method that human cultivators refine their Solar Spirit Bodies.

Thus, when Benin and Hart learned that a Voidfarer was drawing near, hope ignited within them, and they believed rescue was imminent.

"Dragon Slaying Stage..."

Out of the blue, a stream of Yu Yuan's Soul Power was drawn to a grayish-white stone tangled within the space rifts. Moments later, his consciousness entered the inner world of the Dragon Slaying Stage, where he beheld the massive carcass of the Chronowyrm, encircled by an enigmatic, shimmering aura. This aura was none other than the psionic power that had previously departed from the Dragon Slaying Stage to mend the wall.

An array of dazzling symbols, lines, and enigmatic patterns burst forth from the Chronowyrm's remains, casting a nebulous brilliance.

"Lost Star!"

Deep within Yu Yuan's Lunar Spirit Body, a memory sparkle was kindled, vividly revealing an arcane technique associated with either the Dragon Slaying Stage or the Chronowyrm itself.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Dozens of Soul Power streams shot from his Lunar Spirit, converging at the Chronowyrm's head to form a mystic rune symbolizing the "Lost Star." This rune seemed to tap into the lingering power of the Chronowyrm, resonating with the Dragon Slaying Stage.

Outside, in the Nirvana Realm.

The same mystic rune symbolizing the "Lost Star" surfaced within the depths of Yu Yuan's gaze. As he peered into the void, the previously repaired Wall of the Void began to shimmer with a faint light. Suddenly, the wall underwent a transformation, appearing to slowly vanish into the Dark Nebula.

"Hmm?"

"What's happening? Are my eyes deceiving me?"

"Where's the Nirvana Realm?"

Aboard the black iron warship, the Otherkin warriors blinked in disbelief. They stared ahead, only to find that the Nirvana Realm, which had been within arm's reach, seemed to have been erased by an unseen force.

The Nirvana Realm had vanished without a trace.

"Lost Star!"

Benin, a Voidweaver, was overwhelmed as her bloodline power surged. She pointed at Yu Yuan in shock and then at the Dragon Slaying Stage, "This, this stone? Could it be, could it be..."

Struggling with the human language of the Everlands, Benin's words came out in a stutter.

"What's a Lost Star?" Hart asked, puzzled.

"It's a strange power capable of hiding an entire Domain's star!" Benin clenched her fists, as if to draw strength from the gesture. "It's the World-Sundering Stone, spoken of in our Voidweaver legends, with the ability to conceal the stars and the heavens! That stone, that very stone, is the World-Sundering Stone lost by my people!"

"The World-Sundering Stone!" Hart was thunderstruck.

He might not have understood "Lost Star," but he was familiar with the World-Sundering Stone and its many legends.

"Repairing the shattered walls of a realm is another of the World-Sundering Stone's mystical abilities!" Benin said with conviction, pointing at the Dragon Slaying Stage and speaking more fluently, "There's no mistake! This stone, which rightfully belongs to Veilfall Canyon, is the very World-Sundering Stone that brought prosperity to the Nirvana Realm!"

At that moment, her gaze upon Yu Yuan was a mix of excitement and apprehension.

"Lost Star..."

Yu Yuan narrowed his eyes, contemplating the power of the mystic rune and piecing together Benin's words. He was beginning to understand the situation.

It was a good thing he had spared the girl's life; she proved to be quite useful.

He muttered to himself and checked in with the cauldron spirit and Yu Yiyi to ensure that the approaching black iron warship posed no significant threat.

With a scoff, he temporarily lifted the "Lost Star's" veiling effect, causing the nebulous glow to fade from the wall.

"It's reappeared!"

The Otherkin warriors aboard the black iron warship raised an uproar once more.

Realizing the Nirvana Realm held secrets, they didn't back down. Instead, their interest intensified, and they urged one another on with fervor.

"Move out!"

With a series of roars, the battered warship pierced through the Void Wall of the Nirvana Realm and surged into the world within.

Yu Yuan chuckled and activated the "Lost Star" mystic rune once more.

A fresh haze of light infused the wall of the Nirvana Realm, rendering the once-renowned little world invisible within the frigid expanse of the Star River.

The black iron warship wobbled into view, coming to rest in a densely vegetated forest.

"Hart, do you recognize the flag on that warship?" Benin whispered.

Hart shook his head. "I don't. But I've got a bad feeling about this... They might not be the salvation we're hoping for." He glanced at Yu Yuan as he spoke.

Yu Yuan remained unnervingly composed, showing no sign of concern over the arrival of the black iron warship.

Hart couldn't shake the feeling that whoever emerged from that warship might not fare any better than they had.

"Come with me to greet our guests."

Yu Yuan rose languidly from his prolonged seat and drifted down into the cauldron, gazing down at Benin and Hart.

A shiver ran down their spines, and they had no choice but to comply with Yu Yuan's command.

"What about that stone?" Benin inquired hesitantly.

"I don't know," Yu Yuan replied with a smile.

"It's the World-Sundering Stone!" Benin was convinced of her conclusion.

"Enough chatter. You two go ahead; I'll follow," Yu Yuan said with impatience.

The two Otherkin, aware they were no match for Yu Yuan, reluctantly made their way toward the location of the black iron warship.

Screams soon filled the air.

Hart wore a peculiar look as he hastened along, murmuring, "These newcomers are clueless about the perils of this place. They've already lost many to those mutant plants."

"It seems they're not part of any formal coalition of races," Benin surmised.

A short time later, under Yu Yuan's duress, the Otherkin pair reached the forest, a battleground of fierce plants entangling many colorfully dressed soldiers from various races who struggled to free themselves.

"They're outlaws from the distant domains," Hart observed with a sigh, realizing that any hope of assistance from these ruffians was in vain.

"Eh, there are living beings approaching!"

The assorted otherkin warriors were startled upon seeing Hart and Benin. Upon realizing they weren't humans, they visibly relaxed.

"Master, inside the Voidfarer, there's someone who's gravely injured..."

Yu Yiyi, the cauldron spirit, softly alerted Yu Yuan, drawing his attention to the dilapidated warship. "Additionally, there are five Solar Spirit experts from the Everlands lingering nearby. They haven't detected the Nirvana Realm due to the Lost Star's influence. Should we let them in?"

"No," Yu Yuan replied.

Simultaneously, his remnant soul unfolded, merging with the extraordinary powers of the Crucible of Evil, and infiltrated the Voidfarer to identify the unfortunate soul who had sustained serious injuries.
