C1014 Such Attitude

The black iron warship, moored amidst the forest, was engulfed by the Rainbow Ocean dispersed by Peach Madam. The muddled psionic powers from the Nirvana Realm converged from all around, each stream funneling into the Rainbow Ocean.

Concealed within, Peach Madam harnessed the tainted psionic powers of the Nirvana Realm to forge another aspect of herself.

In doing so, the Nirvana Realm itself underwent a cleansing and purification.

After a brief exchange with her, the five formidable dark disciples of the Solar Spirit, aware of her former might, refrained from any rash actions given her current diminished state.

Peach Madam also made it clear that her stay in the Nirvana Realm would be short-lived, and she intended to depart soon.

The five Divine Level powerhouses, wary of her combat prowess and intrigued by Veilfall Canyon, ventured into the valley. There, like Sun Jun and Zhan Ruonan before them, they encountered Yu Yuan.

They recognized the youth before the luminous space rift as the renowned Yu Yuan of Asvetaesi.

"The Crucible of Evil, and I've heard tales of the Sunsorrow from the giant beast. With Nie Qingtian's Divine Sword in his possession, this young man..."

Gou Yungui, with a dismissive toss, dropped a large net brimming with the severed heads of Otherkin warriors onto the unforgiving ground. Casting a malevolent glance at Yu Yuan, he nudged Huang Zhenlong of the Poison Cult with his shoulder and remarked, "I've heard that Luo Yue, your Poison Cult's former leader, is his elder sister in the sect."

By the end of the conflict in the Land of Terror, the revelation that Luo Yue had become the Ghost King was no longer concealed.

Luo Yue, once an apprentice to the God of Medicine, Hong Qi, had also led the Poison Cult.

"His fortuitous mentorship under the God of Medicine should not be underestimated."

Huang Zhenlong, with a furrowed brow, appraised Yu Yuan critically. "The art of leechcraft cannot be mastered overnight. He's quite young and without the tutelage of a true master, I suspect he lacks any real understanding of medicine crafting."

The Poison Cult harbored numerous secret Venomcrafts, all originally devised by Luo Yue, who was said to have been advised by Hong Qi himself.

Hong Qi and the Poison Cult shared a deep connection.

Yet, when the new sect leader ascended, he deliberately severed ties with Hong Qi, forbidding his followers from casually invoking the name of the prematurely deceased God of Medicine.

Huang Zhenlong, heeding the new leader's directive, remained tight-lipped and noncommittal.

During their conversation, Benin, seated next to Yu Yuan, couldn't hide her astonishment in her clear eyes.

She overheard Peach Madam and Yu Yuan, realizing that Yu Yuan beside her was the former God of Medicine of the Order of Healing, now reborn.

Why were these other powerful cultivators, also from the Everlands, utterly oblivious?

Benin had intended to enlighten them, but upon catching the lecherous gaze of Gou Yungui, a member of the Binders of Shadows, she feigned ignorance.

In contrast, Yu Yuan, who appeared menacing, had maintained a clear and steady gaze since their meeting.

Thus, she opted to remain silent.

"Big Sister Zhan, this kid has spoiled the plans of the five major forces in the Land of Terror. I suspect he's no different from Peach Madam and that Green Willow character," Gou Yungui smacked his forehead. "That's right, I've heard that he's the reason the Sword Prison in the Godsblight Marsh was unlocked!"

"Kid, how on earth did you get here?" Yang Yi of the Binders of Shadows, riding his flying carpet, moved past Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun. He stopped only ten meters from Yu Yuan.

His halt was prompted by the chill emanating from the Frost Queen.

This icy woman, in the eyes of the Great Cultivators of the Solar Spirit, seemed to match their own combat prowess. With five of them together, they were confident they could overcome the Frost Queen.

As for Yu Yuan, they hadn't caught Sun Jun's earnest warning to Zhan Ruonan and simply assumed he was a mere Spirit Walk.

"I inadvertently stumbled into a space rift, and in the blink of an eye, I found myself in this strange land," Yu Yuan casually fibbed, his smile tinged with bitterness. "I'd like to return, but I have no idea which way to go."

Upon hearing this, Zhan Ruonan of the Ruby Hand wore a peculiar look on her face.

Yu Yuan's behavior had taken a drastic turn, seemingly encouraging Gou Yungui and Yang Yi to commit misdeeds.

What's he playing at?

Zhan Ruonan quietly mused, exchanging a knowing glance with Sun Jun. She intended to use Gou Yungui and Yang Yi to test Yu Yuan's capabilities.

With her superior cultivation and unmatched strength, she was confident that she could intervene if necessary.

"Big Sister Zhan?"

Gou Yungui inquired tentatively.

Zhan Ruonan shrugged and replied, "Don't look at me; he's not one of our Ruby Hand disciples."

"That makes things easy!"

Yang Yi flashed a sly smile, sparing himself further questions. He unleashed three spells from his sleeve, directing them at the Frost Queen.

Instantly, the spells transformed into a Fire Kylin, a flaming anaconda, and a molten lava river, each meticulously aimed to restrain the Frost Queen.

"If Mo Yan is so eager to possess the Crucible of Evil, I'll lend him a hand," Yang Yi declared, maneuvering the spell beneath his feet to confront Yu Yuan head-on.

As the Frost Queen prepared to act, Yu Yuan transmitted a thought.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The spells struck the Frost Queen, who resembled a crystalline mountain range, unleashing effects of immense gravity, energy imbalance, and internal explosions. These forces, along with the Fire Kylin, the flaming anaconda, and the lava river, caused the towering Frost Queen to shudder and dissolve into a shimmering ice light, retreating back into the Crucible of Evil.

It appeared that the Frost Queen had been injured in an instant, compelled to seek refuge within the cauldron.

Simultaneously, a dark yellow light burst from the spell under Yang Yi's feet, bombarding Yu Yuan's chest and sending him reeling backward. He narrowly avoided the space rifts in his frantic evasion.

Yang Yi remained coolly suspended in mid-air, casually pulling a figure from the void. He drew the ethereal Voidweaver, Benin, to the spell beneath his feet. After a brief glance at the exquisite Benin, he turned to Gou Yungui with a grin, remarking, "This Voidweaver looks quite valuable."

Huang Zhenlong of the Poison Cult and Gou Yungui of the Taintborn watched without surprise as he easily succeeded. Yu Yuan, despite being at the Spirit Walk stage and having previously suffered a heavy blow to his Crucible of Evil, still demonstrated formidable combat prowess. They were familiar with Yang Yi's tactics, and the fact that Yu Yuan didn't meet a grisly end on the spot actually elevated their opinion of him.

Elsewhere, Peach Madam emerged from the depths of the Rainbow Ocean, intentionally elevating herself to get a better view of the unfolding events in Veilfall Canyon. "What's the point of Hong Qi toying with these few?" she wondered, puzzled by Yu Yuan's apparent leisure to tease the five dark disciples, especially when he was known to be a formidable opponent.

She was certain that Yang Yi of the Binders of Shadows couldn't possibly handle the Frost Queen with such ease. "Binders of Shadows, Yang Yi," she mused as Yu Yuan regained his composure, forcing a pained expression on his face and squinting his eyes slightly. He was curious to see how cultivators from the Everlands would react when encountering someone like him or Peach Madam in the extraterrestrial Star River.

The five were extremely cautious and restrained with Peach Madam, avoiding any initiation of combat. However, when it came to Yu Yuan, whether it was Gou Yungui, Yang Yi, or an eager Huang Zhenlong, none showed the slightest restraint as malice rose in their hearts.

These individuals were oblivious to the secrets of the Moonfall Sanctuary. To them, Yu Yuan was no different from Peach Madam, merely not aligned with the five major powers. Peach Madam's strength and reputation meant they merely observed from a distance.

In their eyes, he was an easy target, possessing rare treasures that marked him for death. "How absurd," Yu Yuan sneered, laughing at himself mockingly.

"You don't seem to fear death," Yang Yi remarked, ignoring his soliloquy. He looked down at the composed Voidweaver girl, "Have you just left your kin? Don't you realize the peril you face encountering a human cultivator in the Star River?"

He assumed Benin was naive and overly sheltered, unaware of the world's dangers. "I do fear death," Benin retorted with a hint of scorn in her eyes, "I just find you all quite amusing."

"What's so funny?" Yang Yi was clearly irritated by her demeanor, nonchalantly grasping a pale Ghoul Glyph and pressing it against her forehead.

The next moment, she was curled up, letting out a pitiful, piercing scream.

"Let's hear you laugh now. What's the matter, can't find it amusing anymore? Then let's hear you cry." Yang Yi's face was stone-cold as he taunted, "You dare mock me, Otherkin wench?"

Gou Yungui and Huang Zhenlong watched Benin's agonized howling with a look of amusement on their faces.

To them, the Otherkin warriors from the Star River, regardless of gender, age, or rank, were nothing more than sentient beasts, theirs to kill or keep at will.
