C1022 Gloomy Paradise(2)

"Absolutely, absolutely!" Ke Dun of the Rock Clan nodded emphatically, gesturing towards the crystal tubes. "You can purchase them at the rate of your Spirit Stones. The energy within the Boundless Land's Spirit Stones is incredibly pure, making them a universal currency in the Outer Star River! Seven hundred Spirit Stones, correct? All the blood in these crystal tubes is now yours!"

Spirit Stones are a widely accepted currency among the cultivators of the Boundless Land.

The smallest denomination is the Spirit Stone, followed by Spirit Jade, and at the top, Spirit Crystals.

For Yu Yuan, seven hundred Spirit Stones was not a significant sum, and even less so for someone at the Profound Break Stage.

He paused, "Are Spirit Stones from the Boundless Land that valuable elsewhere?"

"Because of their purity, they're highly treasured!" Ke Dun said earnestly. "The energy crystals from most Domain Boundaries aren't nearly as pure, containing too many impurities. They often require refining two or three times, sometimes even more, to reach the standard of your average Spirit Stone."

"The energy in the crystals diminishes with each refinement, reducing their value even further."

As he spoke, his face showed a look of envy. "After all, the Boundless Land is the Central World, the most illustrious and coveted treasure and holy land in the entire galaxy! It's no wonder it has given rise to the splendid eras of humans and demons, a single Realm commanding awe across the infinite starry expanse!"

His demeanor and tone when speaking of the Boundless Land were filled with outward respect and awe.

"If you feel the price is too steep, I could consult with the other elders. Perhaps we could reduce it a bit." Ke Dun mistook Yu Yuan's silence for hesitation over the price and scratched his head awkwardly, "However, those elders won't allow me to venture onto the lands ahead, which complicates things."

Yu Yuan was momentarily lost in thought.

He hadn't realized that the very land his people and the demons were so eager to leave was seen as a coveted paradise by those from other realms!

It was the Central World, the most radiant of treasure lands, a sacred place that had nurtured countless wonders and birthed a culture and champions of unparalleled brilliance!

"No need for any trouble, seven hundred is just fine."

With a flicker of thought, Yu Yuan retrieved Spirit Crystals of equivalent value from his Universe Ring and handed them to Ke Deng. "These seven palm-sized Spirit Crystals are worth seven hundred Spirit Stones and seventy Spirit Jade in our Boundless Land. Please, count them."

The Spirit Crystals sparkled with a captivating glow, their transparency and brilliance reminiscent of precious diamonds.

Upon just one glance, Ke Deng's excitement was palpable. "I know!" he exclaimed.

Clutching the seven Spirit Crystals as if they were the greatest of treasures, he hurried over to a warrior from the Djinn Clan. Soon, they began to converse in the foreign tongue of the outsiders.

Before long, the formidable Djinn warrior, with the Spirit Crystals in hand and golden chains underfoot, made his way toward the land ahead.

Yu Yuan, without giving it much thought, stooped to retrieve several crystal tubes filled with the low-grade blood essence of outsiders.

Whoosh!

The Evil Cauldron burst forth from his purple palace, expanding as it overturned.

Inside the miniature world of the cauldron, Yu Yuan waited until the cauldron soul, Yu Yiyi, gave the signal. Then, he called forth the Life Altar from within his chest.

The Life Altar, a glistening, blood-red crystal, sensed the distinct Qi and stirred with anticipation.

He poured the blood essence from the first crystal tube onto the Life Altar, and almost immediately, nearly a dozen fine, hair-like crystal beams burst forth from the dark red liquid.

The gently spinning Life Altar took mere seconds to dissolve the blood essence. Tiny dark red particles splattered from its rim, merging into Yu Yuan's flesh, blood, bones, and even his soul. A faint wisp of soul energy drifted into his Consciousness Little World, integrating seamlessly.

In the recesses of his mind, fleeting, hazy images surfaced.

He caught glimpses of strange creatures with scorpion-like bodies navigating the frigid rocky terrain, a brutal environment where survival was a constant struggle.

"Devil Scorpion Clan..." he murmured to himself, then pushed the thought aside. Methodically, he emptied the blood essence from the remaining crystal tubes into the Life Altar.

As Canli from the Bright Clan had advised, his Life Altar, a construct of his own making, needed to absorb a diverse array of blood essences to evolve and gain strength more rapidly.

The variety of blood essence was vast, and its importance often surpassed that of blood from the same race but at different levels.

Contained within these crystal tubes was blood essence from the weaker races of the third and fourth echelons. Neither the gifts from the Blood God Cult nor the spoils from the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area included these lesser groups.

Races like the Demon Scorpion and Fire Lizard Tribes were insignificant in the grand scheme of the galaxy, barely warranting a second glance from the Blood God Cult.

Yet, for Yu Yuan, who yearned for a diversity of bloodlines, this blood essence retained considerable value.

Time passed unmarked.

The blood from the dozen crystal tubes integrated into the Life Altar, effortlessly refined and then nourished his flesh, bones, and the myriad of mystical marks imprinted upon his soul in the Consciousness Little World.

He also noticed that the Astral Shield bracelet on his wrist had partaken in the bounty, drawing in several dozen strands of vital essence.

"Astral Shield!"

Gazing intently at the dark green bracelet, he suddenly realized that with his relentless dedication, this Heaven Level artifact from the Yu family's underground trove would soon unveil its true marvels.

"Soul Wandering Stage, continue to hone the Yin God..."

With a mere thought, his Yin God manifested outside, unimpeded by the Evil Cauldron.

The presence of his Yin God instantly caught the attention of Peach Madam, Zhan Ruonan, Sun Jun, and other races with heightened bloodline sensitivity to souls.

Many eyes and minds were irresistibly drawn to the space above the Evil Cauldron.

Yu Yuan's Yin God, initially nebulous, now hovered above the cauldron, gradually becoming more tangible and visible as a spirit form, resembling a Devaputra marauding through the Outland Star River.

"Yin, Yin God..."

Ke Dun from the Rock Clan, standing at the land's edge, chained in gold, gazed in astonishment at the spiritual form of Yin God Yu. While Yang Gods were a common sight for them, Yin Gods remained elusive.

More powerful cultivators at the Unrestrained Stage would typically descend in their true forms, not bothering to release Yin Gods to wander.

Thus, the sight of Yin God Yu in his spectral guise sparked curiosity among the various extraterrestrial races.

"Be cautious when releasing your Yin God in the Outland Star River!"

Zhan Ruonan of the Red Devil Sect called out sternly from a distance, cautioning him, "The starry sky harbors fearsome forces that can shred souls, and these gales are the bane of our human Yin Gods! We are not Devaputras, not innately attuned to the impurities of the cosmic expanse. Bear this in mind!"

Some foreign cultivators on the mainland uttered a command in their native tongue, barely above a whisper, "Lower the firefly photomask!"
