C1027 Please Continue!

A thick, bloody mist hung in the air, its pungent scent assaulting the senses.

Many foreign marauders had met their demise at the hands of Yu Yuan, their once robust muscles now withering in pools of blood.

The moisture and vital essence from their flesh seemed to fuse with the mist, thickening it until it was almost tangible.

Fleeting glimmers of light, barely visible to the naked eye, emerged from the fragments of shattered bone, only to vanish without a trace.

Yu Yuan hovered amidst the multicolored blood mist, his expression wild, his eyes brimming with delight.

He breathed deeply, utterly enraptured.

Like a whale drawing in water, he seemed to inhale the essence of blood and flesh from the mist into his chest in one gulp.

He could sense the enigmatic nature of the Life Altar.

The crimson altar, situated within the realm of vital blood, spun rapidly, generating a profoundly mysterious magnetic field.

The essence from the flesh and bones of the nearby slain foreign bandits coalesced into the mist, which the altar then devoured, refined, and purified. This energy dispersed through his limbs and bones, reaching even his consciousness and soul.

The Life Altar's display of wonder gave him an intuition—

As long as he kept slaying the foreign bandits, he could harness various powers through the Life Altar, maintaining an unstoppable combat force!

Take the present moment, for instance.

The numerous wounds inflicted by the Eighth Level warriors of the Crypt Clan and the Asura Clan generals had fully healed.

Just moments before, the Life Altar had released streams of vital essence, replenishing the energy he had expended in battle.

The essence that had escaped from the dozens of activated acupoints was now brimming to the point of overflowing.

This surplus of vital essence vanished within his bones, sinews, and organs, continuously tempering his physique and amplifying his strength!

Human practitioners typically replenished their vital essence through dietary means.

They would consume meat rich in vitality or take pellets that offered similar benefits.

The Yao Race, on the other hand, would robustly consume meat to fortify their bodies.

With the Life Altar at his disposal, Yu Yuan's efficiency had multiplied exponentially.

He could now directly extract the rich vital essence from the freshly destroyed bodies of the outsiders, transforming it into a blood mist and swiftly refining it.

In just a short span, his combat prowess had surged dramatically!

Using battle to fuel further battle, Yu Yuan wielded the formidable sword spell of the Optimus Nine Slashes with such ferocity that each successive strike seemed to invigorate him rather than deplete his strength. This was no mere trick of the mind—it was a stark reality.

"Keep it coming!" Yu Yuan called out, standing tall outside the firefly photomask. Poised on the edge of the land, he pointed his sword sheath at Pattinson and Lambing, flashing a dazzling white smile. "Such exhilarating combat was beyond my wildest dreams back in the Boundless Land."

Memories of Hong Qi poisoning numerous adversaries surfaced in his thoughts. Yet, the thrill of cutting down the enemy raiders with the keen edge of his crimson sword light was incomparably more gratifying than the indirect methods of the past.

His true form revealed, the blood mist trailing behind him continued to channel vital essence into the Life Altar, prompting him to let out a triumphant howl to the heavens.

Pattinson stood with a grave demeanor, while Lambing's smile had vanished. They were facing a formidable challenge. Nearly thirty Sixth and Seventh Level bandits had fallen, their deaths coming all too swiftly beneath the relentless scarlet sword light.

Even the Asura General of the Crypt Clan, with his Eighth Level bloodline, found himself in dire straits, immobilized by the concentrated orbs of sword light.

Yu Yuan, ostensibly at the Soul Wandering Stage, boldly stepped out from the protection of the firefly photomask, seemingly impervious to the galaxy's corrupting energies. "It's the pale aqua shield safeguarding him, making him virtually immune to most attacks. And that scabbard he wields—it's undoubtedly a high-grade spiritual weapon!" Lambing inhaled sharply, contemplating whether to deploy a formidable device left by his father to obliterate Yu Yuan once and for all.

"You've lived up to my expectations," Elena exclaimed, her voice tinged with excitement. Despite the grim fate of her raiders at Yu Yuan's hand, not a trace of sorrow crossed her features. Her heart was as unyielding as iron.

"Uncle Pattinson, he's extraordinary. He's been quietly collecting the flesh and blood energy from our fallen," Elena observed, her excitement undimmed by her keen analytical skills. "His constitution is remarkably robust. I believe he's every bit as strong as I am."

"If I'm not mistaken, he must be practicing the Spiritual Spell of the Blood God Cult within the Boundless Land," Pattinson stated gravely.

"Blood God Cult!"

Lambing and Elena were simultaneously taken aback.

In the vast expanse of the starry sea, numerous rumors circulated about the Blood God Cult and the Blood Devil Clan. Those from other races who had encountered the formidable members of the Blood God Cult were convinced that this nefarious sect, unrecognized even by its own kind from the Boundless Land, shared an obscure and mysterious origin with the Blood Devil Clan, a peculiar breed among the Outland Devaputras.

Both the followers of the Blood God Cult and the kin of the Blood Devil Clan harbored an insatiable thirst for blood!

Moreover, they could extract additional strength from the essence of blood within the bodies of beings from other races.

"It all makes sense now..."

Lambing silently nodded in understanding. He watched with a furrowed brow as several more Seventh Level warriors advanced toward Yu Yuan, bound by golden chains. He spoke out in the ancient tongue of the Mondnacht Clan to halt their approach.

Many of them were his fellow Mondnacht Clan members.

The senseless death of his kin would cause him pain.

The Seventh Level bandits nearing Yu Yuan ceased their advance at his call, either stopping on their own or being restrained by their Mondnacht Clan peers.

Yu Yuan, with a wry smile, observed the bandits who had ceased their suicidal march and expressed his disappointment, "They are indeed too weak. Coming here would have been a death in vain."

Having battled various non-human warriors in the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area and after a recent bout of carnage, he had gained some perspective. The non-human warriors among the bandits were significantly inferior to the regular troops who had ventured into the Boundless Land and the elite forces of various races.

The bandits from Gloomy Paradise, despite being Seventh Level by bloodline, were no match for the Seventh Level warriors of the allied forces.

On one hand, the non-humans comprising the bandits were already from weaker tribes, and on the other, they were not particularly distinguished within their own clans.

Additionally, they were unlikely to have access to the strongest training or the most formidable weapons and artifacts, nor were their bloodlines sufficiently awakened...

These factors combined made the bandits appear even weaker.

For Yu Yuan, dispatching them was a breeze, presenting no challenge whatsoever.

"Ugh..."

As he was about to traverse the starry river and make a solitary charge toward the mainland, he heard the low, pained cry of the Void Spirit Succubus girl from beneath the firefly photomask behind him.

He couldn't help but glance over his shoulder.

Unbeknownst to him, Hart, with Benin in tow, had somehow made their way from a remote corner to a position behind him.

Benin trembled violently, her breath erratic, and her soul abnormally fluctuating. In such a state, she might die without even facing an external foe.

With red eyes and a choked voice, Hart supported her and exclaimed, "You promised us! You said we would live!"

"He kept his word. It's just that I've been corroded by the Galaxy Extraordinary Talent once more..." Benin's voice faltered.

"He, he..." Hart stammered, his face flushing as he struggled to find an excuse, only to realize he was at a loss for words.

Yu Yuan's brow furrowed slightly.

By rights, Benin had met his expectations by identifying the stable spatial rift and bravely venturing through it first.

Upon their arrival in Gloomy Paradise, Yu Yuan had refrained from harming Benin and Hart, effectively granting them their freedom.

In Gloomy Paradise, they were ill-equipped to handle the bandits who were at odds with the allied forces and could not escape, a situation that was, in truth, unrelated to him.

The only connection was that they were collateral damage when the enemy lifted the firefly photomask in an attempt to assassinate his Yin God, inadvertently triggering Benin's dormant afflictions.

Yu Yuan could easily turn a blind eye to Benin's plight and leave her to her own devices.

Yet, as he observed Hart, he saw something else.

Despite evident fear, Hart met his gaze unflinchingly, his eyes conveying a reckless determination to ensure Benin's survival, even if it meant risking his own life.

This display of defiant courage in the face of death stirred a sense of compassion in Yu Yuan. He nodded and said, "Let's leave it to fate. I'm not sure if this will work."

With those words, he tossed the Dragon Slash Platform, once a Heaven Opening Divine Stone, to Benin.

The grey-white stone effortlessly ripped through the firefly photomask, causing a third of the underground's hidden arrays and crimson patterns to burst open.

Pattinson's heart raced, his complexion turning deathly pale.

Benin, on the brink of death due to her chaotic bloodline, experienced a noticeable improvement in her condition as the Dragon Slash Platform passed through the firefly photomask and drew near to her.

Benin cradled the Dragon Slash Platform reverently in her hands and gently sank to her knees.
