C1028 Am I Very Famous?

A fine white light shot out from the Dragon Slaying Stage and entered Benin's body. This sparkling white light originated from the material of the Dragon Slaying Stage itself, a result of the space magic it had absorbed from the Void Valley. It was naturally compatible with the bloodline of the Voidweaver, to which Benin belonged.

The moment Benin grasped the Dragon Slaying Stage, the tumultuous blood within her, on the verge of erupting, miraculously calmed. It was as though the presence of the Dragon Slaying Stage had soothed her bloodline, much like an ancient deity quelling a horde of devils about to run amok.

As the white light infused her body, the bloodline chains that had awakened within her long ago suddenly shone brightly. With a swift swoosh, a thread-like beam of crystal light burrowed into her heart, igniting it like a torch had been lit within.

Benin's slight frame trembled. A hazy, otherworldly light emanated from her, sending ripples through space and time that astounded Hart, who stood in close proximity. He gazed upon Benin, who appeared like a goddess from another dimension.

Though Benin was within arm's reach, her aura and soul seemed to reside in a forbidden area millions of miles away—a domain exclusive to the Voidweaver.

"My bloodline is advancing," Benin's voice, faint and ethereal, traveled from the far reaches of the extraterrestrial. Her form was as elusive as a reflection in water or the sun and moon mirrored in a well.

Hart was immediately filled with excitement. He intended to kneel on one knee and express his gratitude to Yu Yuan with the Silverscale Tribe's solemn ceremony. However, recalling that he was from an intelligent life form in the extraterrestrial and Yu Yuan hailed from the Everlands—a natural opposition—and considering the numerous bandits in the vicinity, he reconsidered.

Instead, Hart adopted the human custom of cupping his fists in salute to Yu Yuan. His eyes, devoid of many words of thanks, conveyed the depths of his gratitude.

Yu Yuan nodded in acknowledgment, then turned and left the land behind him. He stepped onto a golden chain and walked with an air of nonchalance through the cold, desolate expanse of the Star River.

Meanwhile, Peach Madam's ire had been kindled by the persistent Shura General. The bandits trailing her would soon meet a dire end.

Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun, two formidable Solar Spirit experts, effortlessly escaped the "Luminescent Barrier" and ventured into the extraterrestrial Star River.

The seventh and sixth level Otherkin raiders dared not pursue them, leaving only the eighth level warriors to give chase. Yet, they were no match for the duo, unable to even graze their fiery silhouettes.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The Rainbow Ocean surged outwards, with Peach Madam at its epicenter, engulfing the surrounding area.

Any Otherkin caught in the vibrant expanse, whose bloodline was below the eighth level, could only shriek in distress before perishing within moments in the colorful abyss.

The relentless eighth level Shura warriors who had been pursuing her had vanished without a trace.

As the Rainbow Ocean expanded, the lesser Otherkin raiders were struck with fear, desperately trying to evade it, dreading they might be the next to fall.

"You're quite audacious. I was inclined to show President Lyi some courtesy, but you insisted on stirring trouble," Peach Madam said with a cold laugh.

Boom! Boom!

The land Yu Yuan had departed from shook with underground tremors as the number of the dead soared.

Peach Madam, indifferent to the slaughter of lives, reveled in the carnage. With a flourish of her sleeves, she unleashed bursts of colorful miasma that seemed to seek out its targets with a life of its own.

Meanwhile, Yu Yiyi, seated at the cauldron's rim, watched with a knowing smile.

The slain Otherkin, notorious for their brutality and heavy with malevolence, had souls saturated with negative psionic energy, making them ideal for forging into Banes.

She discreetly performed her magic, seizing the opportunity to draw the wandering spirits into the cauldron.

Peach Madam was aware of her actions but remained unconcerned.

Puff!

Across the land, Pattinson clutched his chest as a patch of skin burst open, revealing a fine spray of blood. Gasping for air, his face contorted with distress, he called out, "Lambing, prepare to engage!"

"What happened?" Elena exclaimed, shocked.

Pattinson, the most formidable warrior in the Ashen Hollow, showed signs of injury before the battle had even begun.

His bloodline was intricately connected to the blood-patterned arrays and numerous concealed mechanisms on the other land masses. His current wounds signified that unexpected changes were unfolding on the quaking landmass.

"It's that stone!"

Pattinson was panting heavily, "The stone ripped through the Luminescent Barrier and was caught by the Voidweaver girl. Our inscribed patterns beneath the earth, along with several devices that could have countered them, were largely destroyed! Lambing, Elena, don't be so sure of your victory!"

In that moment, Lambing and Elena's gazes instinctively settled on Yu Yuan.

Yu Yuan stood at the center of a golden chain.

He remained composed, neither summoning the Crucible of Evil nor gripping the Dragon Slaying Stage tightly. He even dispelled the pale blue light screen of the Seven Star Aegis.

With the flesh of his Spirit Walk state, he stood exposed in the starry sky, saturated with psionic power, clutching only the swordless sheath.

"I overheard your conversation about some formidable artifact that could clinch the victory," Yu Yuan surveyed his surroundings as if searching for such a potent device. "Bring it out and let's see. Otherwise, once I set foot on your land, I fear I won't be able to restrain myself from slaying you all."

Pattinson, of the Shadowkin, had sustained injuries and was no longer at his peak.

Lambing, of the Moonlit Wanderers, and Elena, of the Shura, seemed significantly stronger than the Otherkin bandits they had just dispatched.

Yet still, their bloodlines remained at the seventh level.

He shook his head, suddenly grasping why the Human Race's cultivators and eighth-level archdemons could traverse the Star Rivers with such impunity.

It was clear—the Human Race and archdemons indeed surpassed their Otherkin counterparts in individual combat strength.

"What's your name? Yu, Yu Yuan?"

Lambing's form trembled slightly. He spun around to address the two inner demon female slaves he had instructed not to follow him, "The message spread by the Blood Fiend Clan's leader not long ago—was it also the name Yu Yuan that was emphasized?"

The two inner demon female slaves, filled with dread, pondered for a moment and nodded vigorously.

"His name is truly Yu Yuan?" Lambing's voice wavered.

The inner demon female slaves nodded emphatically once more.

"Is he the one—the Great Demon God Grec has been searching for, the human youth?" Pattinson's face turned ashen as he instinctively stepped back, staring at Yu Yuan in the midst of the golden chains as if he had seen a ghost in broad daylight, "You're Yu Yuan? Have you just left the Everlands and entered the extraterrestrial starry sky?"

Yu Yuan was taken aback. "Am I that famous?"

"Because you're the one the Demon God Grec is looking for!" Elena exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "I knew it! The guy I've set my sights on has to be extraordinary! Grec is among the top five powerhouses in the entire Star River. He's the talk of the town right now, having ventured into the Everlands and returned unscathed!"

As she spoke of the Demon God Grec, her enthusiasm was infectious, and even Lambing and Pattinson couldn't help but show their admiration.

Indeed, for the Otherkin from extraterrestrial realms, setting foot in the Everlands and returning alive was the ultimate glory!

Whoosh!

A massive Golden Trident materialized in front of Lambing, its sharp tip radiating with dazzling golden light.

In a flash, the Luminescent Barriers on the ground behind them were reactivated.

The psionic power from the two lands surged along the golden chains, pouring into the Golden Trident like a river of light, as if gathering strength for an earth-shattering strike.

Yu Yuan's temples pulsed as he was hit by a sudden wave of intense danger.

The Seven Star Aegis sprang into action without his command, bracing for an all-out defense.

"Watch out!"

"Damn!"

Yu Yiyi and Zhan Ruonan shouted their warnings in quick succession.

"The Demon God Grec wants him alive!" Elena growled, fixing Lambing with a fierce glare. "Doing this could kill him! If he dies, we get nothing!"

"I don't need Grec's reward or his favors. The sheer glory of killing the one Grec seeks is enough for me!" Lambing cackled with a crazed look in his eyes.
