C1034 What Kind of Background Did He Have?(2)
Mia of the Shadowkin and Quero of the Silverscale Tribe, along with some extraterrestrial Otherkin from the Star River, have embraced the ideals of the Boulderdawn and the Skyreach Consortium.
The death of Lee Tianxin, the primordial spirit of the Sunlit Order, has only deepened the trust that other tribes had in the Boulderdawn.
The sparsely populated Voidweavers may have had prior contact with the Boulderdawn, or they may have only recently decided to accept an invitation from the Skyreach Consortium.
"Your teacher knows me?" Yu Yuan inquired.
Benin nodded, his demeanor growing increasingly deferential, "My master has heard of your exploits in the Everlands. She mentioned that once she reaches the Domain of the Skyreach Consortium, she intends to visit you in person."
"And your teacher is?" Pattinson asked, his expression grave.
"Noeyr," Benin replied, pausing as if concerned Pattinson might not recognize the name. He clarified, "Noeyr Kelly."
Pattinson inhaled sharply and nodded in recognition. "I'm aware of her."
Elena gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in astonishment, but she remained silent.
Noeyr Kelly was one of the last surviving ninth-level bloodline elders of the Voidweaver clan!
She was a revered figure among all intelligent life, possessing unparalleled knowledge of the Maw of Oblivion and Domain Channels within the Infinite Galaxy.
Rumors suggested that her position within her clan was only surpassed by the chieftain who ventured into the Maw of Oblivion and has yet to return, whose whereabouts and condition remain unknown.
Aside from the chieftain, whose tenth-level bloodline places them among the top ten warriors of the Star River, Noeyr is the most influential member of the Voidweaver clan!
The other two ninth-level bloodline elders typically defer to her judgment.
This legendary figure, renowned throughout the Star River and beyond, with countless Otherkin warriors vying for an audience, had sent her pupil Benin to accompany Yu Yuan.
She had even instructed Benin to inform Yu Yuan that she would soon visit the Domain created by the Skyreach Consortium.
What could Yu Yuan's true identity be?
Peach Madam, now fully immersed in her demonic ways, chuckled softly to herself.
She felt fortunate that, back in the Nirvana Realm, she had not engaged in open conflict with Yu Yuan. Instead, she had sincerely proposed to exchange information about Hei Xun and the white crane for a peaceful coexistence.
Pattinson and Elena were well aware of Noeyr's identity and were utterly stunned by the revelation.
"This is the situation," Pattinson began, hesitating slightly before clearing his throat. "The golden trident, before its destruction, likely overheard our conversation and is aware of the events that transpired here. In other words, Lambing’s father, Calves, is probably informed of his son's death and the trident's ruin."
Hu Caiyun's lips curled into a faint smile. "And what of it?"
"The Ashen Hollow's path will take us near the Domain where Calves and the Moonlit Wanderers are currently hiding," Pattinson explained, looking somewhat embarrassed. "We were bound to run into Calves on our original course. However, I can adjust our trajectory to avoid the Domain where Calves resides."
Realizing that Yu Yuan, the one responsible for Lambing's death, might be a significant figure in the Everlands with deep ties to the Skyreach Consortium, Pattinson had a change of heart. Initially intending to use Calves as a means to exact retribution from Yu Yuan and Peach Madam, he now opted for transparency.
"I don't want to bring calamity upon my brother or Elena's father because of Calves."
With those words, Pattinson conveyed his resolution. "So, the decision to alter our course is yours to make."
His gaze finally settled on Yu Yuan.
Yu Yuan shook his head. "There's no need."
"Very well," Pattinson acknowledged.
"What's the big deal about a ninth-level Bloodline warrior from the Moonlit Wanderers?" Hu Caiyun remarked nonchalantly. "Yu Yuan, don't trouble yourself over this. Should Calves dare to seek vengeance, I'll handle him. Once I visit the Moonlit Wanderers' territory and have fully recovered, Calves will pose no threat."
In that moment, she too had reached a decision.
She resolved to stand by Yu Yuan, abandoning any thoughts of betrayal.
Following this conversation, peace prevailed among the humans and raiders aboard the Ashen Hollow, including members of the Human Race and Otherkin. No longer did they conceal malicious intentions.
Elena, who had previously contemplated treachery, refrained from any further rash actions.
Instead...
At the forefront of the mainland, within the combat arena at the base of a towering spire, Yu Yuan's fist—imbued with a weight tenfold—struck Elena's chest with unrelenting force. He showed no leniency, his blow causing her breastbone to crack audibly as blood spilled forth from her mouth.
The sturdy armor, made of an unknown material, cracked open. Elena's figure, agile like a leopardess, flashed seven times in quick succession, yet she still couldn't dodge the punch.
As she crashed to the ground, her mind was overwhelmed by the omnipresent force of the fist.
The ten-acre battlefield seemed to be saturated with the terrifying force of that punch.
Elena's more delicate garments had been reduced to dust long ago. Her body, now bare in many places, was smeared with dust and blood, giving her a look that was both alluring and fiery.
Only she and Yu Yuan were left on the battlefield, with other bandits not daring to come within ten meters of the tower.
"Again!"
Elena, having landed, regulated her breathing and her slightly unsettled vitality. She leaped up once more, transforming into a surge of blood energy as she lunged at Yu Yuan again.
Yu Yuan, with narrowed eyes, could see many hidden crystal chains within the haze of blood—a manifestation of the Shura's natural talent.
Speed enhancement, bone fortification, flesh regeneration, a surge in malevolence, sharpness...
These unique and exquisite Shura bloodline talents flashed through his mind in the instant he squinted.
This realization dawned on him that the Altar of Rebirth had consumed and assimilated the lifeblood of the Shura, leaving mysterious imprints within his body and soul.
These imprints would emerge at certain moments, offering him intuitive understanding.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
At the mere flicker of his thought, three Yu Yuans materialized out of nowhere.
Elena, caught off guard, was struck by another crushing blow, slammed to the ground by a colossal hand that eclipsed the sky.
In a blink of light, she saw Yu Yuan close in. His coordinated flurry of movements filled her with excruciating pain as her flesh was torn and blood splattered, leaving her in a pitiful defeat.
Yet her eyes shone with an intense brightness, and the moans and howls escaping her lips took on an increasingly bizarre tone.
"Are you out of your mind?"
Elena's moans were tinged with a wild, frenzied delight, and her face was etched with excitement, leaving Yu Yuan, who had so ruthlessly crushed her, utterly perplexed.
Boom!
An arm came crashing down like a mountain range, and Elena was grounded once more.
Whoosh!
Yu Yuan moved in swiftly, crouching slightly as he prepared to grasp her neck and end her interference, only to find Elena, as if suddenly endowed with divine strength, wrapping her limbs around him with octopus-like tenacity.
"I caught you!" Quero exclaimed triumphantly as he held Mia in his grasp. "You're not getting away this time."
Benin nodded in agreement. "Indeed, and the Silverscale Tribe has long sought to understand the secrets of the Infinite Galaxy. The Domain Channel could be the key to unlocking new realms."
