C1037 Bloodline Advancement!(1)

In a bizarre region where meteorites hovered, the remains of Galaxy Ancient Starships were strewn across massive rocks like discarded debris. Swarms of nimble insects, flashes of sword light, and sparks of electricity darted among the wreckage, scavenging for valuable materials to bring back to their masters.

Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun stood before a man from the Sword Sect. His name was Yue Mu, the least ranked among the nine Great Sword Immortals, currently at the early Unrestrained Stage, and the leader of this temporary base.

Yang cultivators from the Thunder Sect, Cloud Water Sect, Taiyuan Sect, and Cold Yin Sect were still scouring the nearby meteorites for supplies.

Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun had detected this human stronghold using a special device. Upon arrival, they discovered it was a team of practitioners from the Heavenly Source Continent, incredibly distant from the Starfield of the Nirvana Realm where they had previously roamed.

Yue Mu was equally taken aback by the sudden appearance of two Yang cultivators from the Red Devil Sect. Through their conversation, Yue Mu learned of their plight from Zhan Ruonan.

"Three Yang Gods fell to Yu Yuan. He traveled from the spatial rift in the Nirvana Realm to the Gloomy Paradise, a haven for outlaws," Yue Mu murmured. After a pause, he added, "Yu Yuan is none other than the Medicine God Hong Qi from three hundred years ago."

At this revelation, shock painted the faces of Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun.

"Medicine God Hong..."

Yue Mu, who had recently ascended to the Unrestrained Stage, reflected on his past with a hint of nostalgia and a deep sigh. He had once interacted with Hong Qi in his youth, receiving precious pellets and favors from him.

The realization that Yu Yuan was Hong Qi was difficult for Yue Mu to grasp. His emotions grew more complex upon learning that after Yu Yuan disclosed his true identity in the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area, Ji Ningshuang, and Xi Quan—who had defected from the Sword Sect—had taken certain actions because of him.

Now, leading a hunting team from beyond the stars, Yue Mu had unexpectedly encountered news of Yu Yuan. While Zhan Ruonan was hesitant to disclose the exact location of the Gloomy Paradise, Yue Mu had a rough idea of where it might be.

Should we go and look for him? If they were to meet, would it come to blades clashing?

If Ji Ningshuang were to find out, would she storm through the galaxy to seek retribution?

Yue Mu found himself in a quandary, speechless for a moment.

Zhan Ruonan, through him, had come to understand the significant recent events in the Boundless Land. She learned that Yu Yuan had ventured into the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area, wielding the Dragon Slash Platform as the master of the Heaven Sealing Soul Transformation Formation. He had faced off against the coalition of humans and demons, only to be ambushed by the Great Demon God, Grec. Ultimately, he vanished after delving into the Realm passageway.

Yu Yuan was Hong Qi, and Hong Qi was Yu Yuan; this was no longer a secret in the Boundless Land.

Yue Mu also revealed that Yu Yuan was greatly valued by the Divine Soul Sect and had made it onto the hit list of the top five supreme forces, branded as a traitor to the Boundless Land.

But when it came to other matters concerning Yu Yuan, Yue Mu was vague and unclear.

Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun, having not encountered any experts from their own sects, couldn't completely trust Yue Mu's words, and they remained cautious around him.

"Before long, powerhouses from the Quietus Continent and several great demons will arrive," Yue Mu said with a stoic face. "Once we've all assembled, we'll set out for the Oblivion Starfield."

"The Oblivion Starfield?" Zhan Ruonan expressed mild shock.

"The Babel Chamber of Commerce has carved out a Realm within the Oblivion Starfield, intent on cultivating a hub for trade among the various races," Yue Mu confirmed with a nod. "We've been tasked to survey the Oblivion Starfield, to ascertain the extent of Realm development within that Starfield."

Zhan Ruonan and Sun Jun shared a knowing look, silently noting the irony.

The Gloomy Paradise, under Yu Yuan's control, along with Peach Madam, were also en route to the Oblivion Starfield.

The owner of the white crane, along with additional Babel Chamber of Commerce powerhouses, and possibly senior cultivators from the Divine Soul Sect and representatives of other races, were all expected to converge in the Oblivion Starfield.

"What's the matter?" Yue Mu inquired, sensing something amiss.

"It's nothing," Zhan Ruonan replied, shaking her head.

In the expansive battlefield, Yu Yuan leaned casually against the icy rock wall, watching the disheveled young Asura girl hastily depart once more. Narrowing his eyes, the ludicrous yet enchanting images of recent events naturally surfaced in his mind. After some time, he couldn't help but shake his head with a chuckle. "Regardless, that girl has brought me joy beyond compare."

Over the last few days, Elena had approached him several times seeking pleasure. Following each vigorous and satisfying encounter, she would leave contented. Once she had recuperated somewhat, she would eagerly initiate another 'battle', only to depart with a smile after being thoroughly spent.

She was forthright about what she gained from these encounters. Yu Yuan, for his part, was unconcerned. Upon reflection, he realized that these events had no effect on him. Moreover, he found that these unconventional 'battles' had purged the malice and irritability from his system.

He had absorbed the vital essence from the fallen warriors using the miraculous Life Altar, which contained many sinister thoughts. Normally, he would have to slowly refine and dispel these negative energies to prevent them from influencing him. However, after each intense session with Elena, he felt a sense of tranquility. The negative energies that should have affected him had dissipated without a trace.

Could it really be this simple?

Yu Yuan let out a soft laugh as his Yin God silently emerged, wandering the land without concern for the removal of protective barriers or the risk of another ambush.

As he practiced in this manner, his Heavenly Soul delved into the intricacies of the Optimus Nine Slashes. In the moments of utmost relaxation following his joyous experiences, his mind became crystal clear, allowing him to focus more intently on the sword spell. Beyond mastering techniques like Broken Star, Fallen Moon, and Soul Severing, he had recently gained new insights into the Extinguish Spirit and Split Sun techniques, which he was now evolving in his mind.

"Yu Yuan, do you have a moment to talk?" Peach Madam's voice suddenly rang out from outside. The enigmatic woman, who had fully embraced the Devil Dao, had once again altered her address for him, reverting from Hong Qi to Yu Yuan.

Upon hearing her voice, Yu Yuan took a moment to ponder and immediately grasped the situation.

As expected.

The moment he nodded, Peach Madam entered, casually extracting a floral handkerchief to wave through the air. "This scent is quite potent," she remarked with a playful smile. Hu Caiyun looked at him with a twinkle of mischief in her eyes, "You weren't always like this, were you?"

"Congratulations," Yu Yuan remarked coolly.

Hu Caiyun's inner demon had fully assimilated her other self, effectively taking its place. There would be no more unexpected incidents.

Moreover, Yu Yuan sensed that she had once again reached the Unrestrained Stage.

"I should've taken this step much sooner. It was my other self that was holding me back," Hu Caiyun spoke with the ease of casual conversation. "You've probably heard the rumors about me. You know I had a Primordial Spirit partner who died beyond the heavens. Heh, his name never even spread throughout the Boundless Land. How he died has never been a topic of discussion."
