All this, to fulfill a fatal task, to be a pawn in a battle against the Otherkin.

Hu Caiyun, also of the Ebon Star, revered her master... the current leader of the Ebon Star! Despite her deep respect for her master and understanding that the upper sects, at her master's behest, were behind her beloved's death, she couldn't bring herself to confront or rebel against them.

Thus, the seed of hatred buried deep within her soul merged with the toxic miasma, giving rise to her inner demon.

This new Hu Caiyun was prepared to confront her master, to seek justice at all costs, unlike her former self who had vanished, refined away. Perhaps it was also a way for her to lean on this new, extreme identity, to demand answers and to do things she had never before dared to do.

"After all that, what exactly do you need my help with?" Yu Yuan inquired succinctly.

"Throughout this journey, I'll do my utmost to assist you with any difficulties you encounter. However, if we come across someone too powerful for me to handle, that's a different story," Hu Caiyun stated earnestly.

"What would you like me to do?" Yu Yuan probed further.

"Introduce me. I wish to join Boulderdawn and stand against my master. One day, I want to face him without fear and demand an answer!" Hu Caiyun exclaimed.

"How do you know I can help?" Yu Yuan wondered.

"With the Dragon Slaying Stage in your possession, I'm convinced you have a profound connection with Boulderdawn! I've told you, I hail from Ebon Star, and my former lover was a primordial spirit. I understand the significance of the Dragon Slaying Stage and whom it represents!" Peach Madam's face was unusually somber. "As Boulderdawn's most prized treasure, controlling it means you must be practicing Boulderdawn's mystique."

Yu Yuan gazed at her intently, musing for a moment, "Hei Xun, what about you?"

"Wasn't that before I changed my perspective?" Hu Caiyun's gaze was fiery, "Back then, I hadn't yet resolved to confront the three upper sects."

"Alright," Yu Yuan nodded slowly, "I agree."

A radiant smile spread across Hu Caiyun's face.

Just then, the sound of a building collapsing echoed. Yu Yuan and Hu Caiyun paused, then swiftly made their way outside.

They witnessed the square stone building reduced to a heap of stones.

Elena's pained cries emanated from beneath the massive pile of rubble. As she howled, the enormous boulders, as large as millstones, were blasted into a shower of gravel.

The Shura General, who had narrowly escaped Peach Madam's poison, stood petrified before the mound of stones.

Pattinson, Hart, and others, driven by curiosity, turned their attention to the debris.

Boom! Boom!

Beams of blood energy sent the stones soaring into the sky. Elena, her arms flailing and eyes alight with excitement, let out a cheer that boomed like thunder, "My bloodline has advanced! From this moment on, I am an eighth-level Blood Warrior!"

"Ah?!"

The Shura General was suddenly animated and leaned in for a closer look.

An incredibly dense surge of vital energy burst forth from Elena's chest like a tidal wave. He was absolutely certain that Elena, despite her tender age, had broken through to the eighth level!

I won't allow you to entertain such vile thoughts about him! Besides, you're human. He can only impregnate you; he can't grant you a bloodline transformation!"

Hu Caiyun was bewildered. She glanced at Yu Yuan and asked, "What is this mad girl babbling about? What do you mean by you can impregnate me but not offer a bloodline transformation?"

"Crazy girl, if you want to lose it, do it away from me. Don't spoil my mood," Hu Caiyun spat out, clearly irritated.

Pregnancy? Bloodline transformation?

Otherkin like Pattinson, Hart, and Benin, considering Elena's recent odd behavior and her current bloodline advancement, seemed to grasp the underlying significance.

Suddenly, their looks towards Yu Yuan took on a peculiar cast.

"Enough with the absurdities," Yu Yuan chuckled sheepishly, attempting to curb Elena's wild talk before she went too far.

Elena, with a defiant air, nudged Hu Caiyun aside from Yu Yuan. She looped her arm through Yu Yuan's, speaking with a warmth that left no room for doubt, "You're my man. My bloodline's rapid advancement is all thanks to you! Even though you're a human from the Everlands, you're not like the rest!"

The myriad scents of lifeblood from different races within the Altar of Rebirth inside Yu Yuan confirmed her belief.

The man Elena had chosen was extraordinary, not merely a typical human.
