C1104 The Third Generation Titan!

Yu Yuan gripped the Baneblade in both hands and struck at the Titan charging toward him with a massive arm raised to smash.

Shriek!

A swath of dark red blade light, as lengthy as a towering ancient wood, carved through the air at the Titan's arm, which was as massive as ancient wood itself, sparking a series of fiery glints but failing to penetrate its skin.

The Titan's form was clad in ragged, ancient armor, yet the skin that showed through was like an impenetrable iron fortress. The raised muscles on its body resembled solid iron lumps.

The Baneblade, known as Bloodhell, was not famed for its sharpness. Instead, it specialized in targeting living creatures with flesh and blood. When its blade light swept through, it often transformed into Bloody Rivers, dragging the living creatures into their depths and ripping them asunder.

Yet, as Yu Yuan swung at the Titan, he managed only to draw forth a streak of blade light, unable to breach the creature's tough hide.

A subtle shift in his heart signaled that he had met a formidable foe.

With a powerful stomp, Yu Yuan, still wielding the Baneblade, teleported a hundred yards away, vanishing from the spot the Titan had targeted.

Crack crack!

The Titan's arm, having swung with ferocious force, came crashing down to no avail, its elbow carving two vast craters into the earth.

Failing to connect with its first blow, the Titan rose once more, its eyes flashing red as it refocused on Yu Yuan.

What baffled Yu Yuan was the sight of the ten-foot-tall Titan suddenly contracting its body, shrinking considerably in mere moments.

It seemed to realize that its towering stature made it too easy for Yu Yuan to evade.

"Is that even possible?"

Dumbfounded, Yu Yuan scrutinized the Warpbeast that had clearly marked him as its target.

He observed that as the Titan charged at him, the other Warpbeasts had instinctively steered clear, abandoning their own assaults.

This indicated that the other Warpbeasts recognized the Titan's fearsome nature.

He covertly harnessed his vitality and remnant soul, probing for insights.

Yet, he was unable to determine the bloodline level of this Titan before its demise.

"This one is unlike the rest of its kin; it's a Titan!"

The Starfallen Oracle, Beru, wielded a massive Starwheel, which appeared to spin a dazzling galaxy as he battled a platinum Shura concealed within the Absolute Darkness.

Leo of the Starborn, along with Becker and a host of other distinguished Starborn clanspeople, were dispersed behind him.

A Starborn contingent valiantly faced off against Shura warriors who intermittently surged from the Dark Moon Cold Stream.

Beru gracefully retreated into the sky, his stance reminiscent of a deity ruling over the cosmos and constellations, as described in ancient myths. With his back to Yu Yuan, he elucidated, "The original Titans were born from the Titan Spinosaurus, and they too were known as the Titan Spinosaurus."

"The Titans of today have adapted to the changing times, evolving over generations, resulting in significantly smaller statures."

"Yet, the taller the Titan, the more pristine the ancient bloodline within them. The Titan you are currently up against is likely from the third generation."

"The first-generation Titans stood ten thousand feet tall, each one akin to a majestic mountain range."

"The second-generation Titans were a thousand feet tall. The third generation, which includes your current adversary, measures only a hundred feet."

"Titans active in the Star River today are from the fifth and sixth generations. Their bloodlines have so drastically degenerated that it's become rare for even a Mighty of the tenth level to emerge."

"This decline has led to the Titans no longer occupying the first level of intelligent life."

Beru took a brief pause.

With a gesture of his hands, he summoned a swath of stars that cascaded toward the platinum Shura lurking in the shadows, compelling his foe to hesitate in stepping forward.

"The first and second-generation Titans were endowed with divine strength, capable of reshaping landscapes and traversing the Star River," he continued, his pace quickening as he sensed the Shura's gathering might. "Regrettably, they were slow to move, and their bloodline's explosive power was sluggish. None had ever ascended to the tenth level."

"The era of the third-generation Titans was the most formidable. They possessed a harmonious balance of power, speed, and bloodline. The Titan Clan's most illustrious age coincided with the rise of the third-generation Titans, from whom the majority of the tenth-level Heirs of Blood were derived."

"According to historical records, the entity you're currently facing should be a Titan that failed to achieve the ultimate breakthrough."

"He briefly attained the tenth bloodline level but couldn't withstand the surging power and died explosively."

As Beru's words fell, the third-generation Titan had already reduced his stature to a mere ten meters tall.

The Warpbeast, forged like refined iron, appeared before Yu Yuan in an instant, launching a punch towards his head.

Boom!

The Seven Star Aegis was summoned, and its green-black energy shield deformed under the Titan's crushing blow.

A force as devastating as the sky falling and the earth splitting passed through the energy shield, erupting wildly within the vortex created by Yu Yuan's Evil Body Refining technique.

Yu Yuan's skin tore apart instantly, feeling as though he had been struck head-on by a ten-thousand-ton war chariot.

Sensing danger, he prepared to escape using Veilwalk.

Just then, the Titan launched another punch, but the Seven Star Aegis, needing to recharge, failed to deploy its second round of defense.

"Fiend!"

Zhongli Dapan's growl came just in time.

Time seemed to crawl, and the discomfort of the distorted space nearly made Yu Yuan spit blood.

Yet, he found solace in the chaos.

Zhongli Dapan, not particularly tall and sporting a shiny bald head, burst the space around him with his overwhelming punch!

The elder, whose fingertips could reach beyond his knees, grinned fiercely at the Titan like a robust ape.

The Titan's punch met his arm, and despite the Titan's reduced size, it was still several times taller than Zhongli Dapan. The impact was like an iron anchor hitting his half-meter-long arm, sending sparks flying and the force of the punch streaking like arc light.

Unmoved, the mantra "Ancient Echoes of the Void" that flowed around him made time and space tremble.

"I'll handle this one; you find yourself a new opponent."

Facing away from Yu Yuan, he looked up at the Titan and with a gentle push, the massive Warpbeast was flung away.

He stamped his foot, and the hard stone floor cracked with countless fissures.

In the blink of an eye, he charged at the Titan like a missile. The two immediately engaged in fierce combat, with the clanging of metal and the sound of bones colliding echoing like thunderous drumbeats.

"Are you alright?"

Yu Ying gracefully appeared, taking Zhongli Dapan's place. With a flick of her small hands, she repeatedly struck the void.

Hundreds of palm-sized imprints forcefully sent the one-armed Shura tumbling back into the icy currents of the Dark Realm, buying Yu Yuan precious time to regroup.

"Great-aunt, I'm perfectly fine, no need to worry about me."

Yu Yuan gave a wry smile and tapped into the life-giving power of the Altar of Rebirth, channeling streams of refined vitality to mend his torn flesh.

"I'm relieved to hear that. But be careful; that Titan is extraordinarily strong. Don't act impulsively."

Yu Ying gave him a stern look and added, "I've just learned that President Lyi was the one who led the charge through the golden sea of light. A Titan that once briefly attained the tenth bloodline level, even if reduced to a mindless beast, is still beyond your current ability to confront."

"And there's more..."

Yu Ying's voice trembled with fear, "Master Zhongli mentioned that the Demon God Grec might very well possess him to make his descent into Ionodios a reality!"

"Grec!"

At the mention of that name, Yu Yuan's face paled, realizing his own hubris.

A sudden, inexplicable chill surged through him. He whirled around to see a familiar figure, Lin Zhuyun, casually approaching amidst the fray of Warpbeasts and warriors from various races.

"Lin Zhuyun!"

His gaze turned icy as he squinted, noticing something amiss. Lin Zhuyun's Profound Gate acupoints were drawing in the bitter cold ice light, seemingly undergoing a miraculous transformation within her own microcosm of vitality.

"She's crafting a Solar Spirit Body."

Yu Yiyi's voice, the cauldron spirit, echoed from within Yu Yuan's Zigong acupoint, sending a jolt through him.

Curiously, both the Shura and the Warpbeasts seemed oblivious to her presence.

"She carries the scent of the Dark Realm's ice energy, causing the Shura and Warpbeasts to mistake her for one of their own. Meanwhile, both humans and Otherkin recognize her as nothing more than a manipulated puppet, unworthy of their concern," Yu Yiyi explained.

Whoosh!

The dark chasm that housed the Deathwing Lair was pierced by a crystalline Frost Well, emerging from the shadows like a towering pillar.

At the rim of the well, the Frost Queen, akin to an Ice Goddess, struggled to escape, her waist wedged at the well's opening.

"She has successfully ascended to the tenth level of a Bane and possesses the cultivation of the Unbound realm. However..."

Yu Yiyi, sensing the Frost Queen's presence, let out an excited shriek. She then maneuvered the cauldron out from Yu Yuan's Zigong acupoint, revealing her true form at the cauldron's mouth, "She's trapped. The base of the Frost Well in the Dark Realm is radiating ice energy. But why has the well surfaced now?"

Yu Yuan noticed his fiancée's heartbeat quicken at the emergence of the Frost Well.

Upon closer inspection, he saw Lin Zhuyun's gaze fixed on the Frost Well and the ensnared Frost Queen from the moment they appeared.

A sudden epiphany struck him, sending a jolt through his heart, and he exclaimed, "The key to forging her Solar Spirit lies within that well or with the Frost Queen herself!"

The cauldron spirit paused, then cried out in agreement, "That must be it!"

"Lin Zhuyun may no longer be of use to the Shura or the Demon God Grec, but she remains a vital pawn for the Abyssal Leviathan!" Yu Yuan's face darkened, and without hesitation, he declared sternly, "Get ready to ensnare her soul; I'll take care of her physical form!"

With those words, he propelled himself forward with the Baneblade, Bloodhell, heading straight for Lin Zhuyun.

Blade lights, like a Bloody River, morphed into enormous bloodthirsty serpents, poised to tear Lin Zhuyun to shreds and swallow her whole at any moment.

"A ruthless man, sparing no mercy even for his own betrothed."

Peach Madam watched the scene unfold, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Lin Zhuyun, however, remained detached, calmly facing his approach, and said, "I knew it."
