C1153 How Could He Not Come?

Don't come back!

Yu Zhu's Soul Echo, sharp as a blade, pierced into the grayish-white crevice trapped within the Dragon Slaying Stage, its power slowly seeping in and taking hold.

She was certain that Yu Yuan, the master of the Dragon Slaying Stage, would hear her plea.

"Don't come back!"

Another remnant soul message was sent out in an instant as Yu Yiyi pressed her fingertip to her forehead.

A mysterious glyph emerged on Yu Yiyi's radiant forehead.

Leveraging the soul bond between the Crucible of Evil and Yu Yuan, she accurately projected vivid scenes from the Primal Blood Continent directly to him.

In this way, Yu Yuan would understand the sheer number of formidable beings surrounding the resurrected Grec.

She feared that Yu Yuan, on his initial venture, was yet to grasp the gravity of the situation and the true hardships that lay ahead.

Her intent was to remind Yu Yuan that choosing to come at this moment was exceedingly unwise.

Tan Junshan, Chen Qinghuang, the Golden Elephant God, the King of Wraiths, along with the elders of the Blood Fiend clan, all gazed intently at the crevice, their eyes filled with complex and indecipherable thoughts.

From it, they all detected the rapidly intensifying presence of Yu Yuan.

This signified that the first human to step onto the Primal Blood Continent, fully aware of Grec's successful revival and the encirclement of all present, was still charging in undeterred!

The Golden Elephant God was inwardly astonished, considering Yu Yuan's actions tantamount to seeking death.

The King of Wraiths from the Devil Palace wore a grave expression, contemplating thoughts that went beyond the present.

Yu Yuan was not just gifted; his bravery also far surpassed that of Mo Yan!

After all, Mo Yan, ignorant of the state of this world and intimidated by Yu Yuan, had not dared to venture forth.

But Yu Yuan?

Fully aware of the perils that lay ahead, knowing that the odds favored death over life, he was still rapidly closing in.

"You, who are about to die, cannot claim injustice," the King of Wraiths mused to himself.

"Hehe!"

Munch's sinister laughter echoed as he applauded enthusiastically, signaling to his kin under the dark red heavens.

A cacophony of laughter, powerful enough to rend the sky and shatter the earth, erupted from every direction.

A massive, triangular-eyed serpent, nearly a hundred meters in length, let out a piercing screech as it violently whipped its tail through the air. The area was suddenly engulfed in what seemed like a torrential downpour.

The emerald raindrops had the corrosive power to dissolve the flesh of any creature, rivaling the potency of concentrated sulfuric acid.

Blood Fiend clansmen of lower bloodline levels who dared approach were met with a grim fate. A mere touch of the green rain left their bodies shrouded in a dense, bloody mist as they cried out in agony.

Yet, a handful of Blood Fiend experts at the eighth level sneered with malevolent glee, their bodies transforming into streaks of blood-colored lightning.

In the blink of an eye, they darted through the corrosive raindrops and penetrated the colossal body of the demon snake.

The snake's agonized screams echoed immediately after.

Gathering in vast numbers, the Blood Fiend clansmen formed a formidable force, launching an offensive against the Everlands’ archdemon and the Devil Palace’s dark adepts.

Across the heavens, blood shadows weaved rapidly, their blood magic creating a mesmerizing tapestry of interlaced spells.

Dark adepts from the Devil Palace, clutching their weighty tomes, summoned their own blood to conjure dazzling glyphs that hunted down the invading blood shadows.

Archdemons unleashed their fury, expelling swarms of needle-like mosquitoes from within, striking down many a Blood Fiend.

Others, with limbs as sturdy as Sunsilver, casually swatted at the blood shadows, obliterating them upon impact.

Both the archdemons of the Everlands and the dark adepts of the Devil Palace boasted combat prowess surpassing that of Blood Fiend clansmen of equivalent levels on the Primal Blood Continent.

The dark adepts of the Solar Spirit level, though comparable to eighth-level Blood Fiends, held an edge in actual combat. Their mastery of the dark arts, experience in battle, and the Cursed Artifacts they wielded gave them a distinct advantage over their Blood Fiend counterparts.

Despite the world's laws causing their blood to flow sluggishly, the archdemons remained a fearsome force. When they revealed their true forms and unleashed their demon energy with reckless abandon, it was the Blood Fiend clansmen who suffered.

The Devil Palace and Shadow's Keep stood as the mightiest powers in the Land of Quiescence, each member armed with Divine Weapons and an array of wondrous artifacts for protection.

The might of the Divine Weapons and Cursed Artifacts in battle inflicted devastating losses upon the Blood Fiend Clan.

Yet...

This was the Primal Blood Continent, the sacred cradle of the Blood Fiend Clan!

Even if the Blood Fiend Clan members were grievously wounded and torn asunder, a plunge into any of the crimson lakes or rivers would soon see them restored to their unscathed, original forms.

On the Primal Blood Continent, as long as a Blood Fiend Warrior's devil soul remained unextinguished and their demonform wasn't reduced to ash, they could seemingly draw upon the healing powers of these scarlet waters to mend their wounds swiftly and rejoin the fray at full strength.

Moreover, their numbers were overwhelming!

In the face of such odds, the formidable warriors from the Devil Palace and Shadow's Keep would inevitably be worn down to their demise.

Clutching the Dragon Slaying Stage, Yu Yuan harnessed the psionic power of the Chronowyrm within, coupled with the Stage's own wondrous properties, as if soaring through various dimensions.

The Dragon Slaying Stage, originally the enigmatic chrysalis of the Voidweaver, was inherently imbued with the essence of space and time.

The Chronowyrm's blood anointed the Dragon Slaying Stage, its remains entombed therein, further amplifying its temporal might.

Recently, the shattered remains of the violet gold dragon egg had propelled the Dragon Slaying Stage to new heights...

Yu Yuan, wielding the Dragon Slaying Stage, followed the arcane glyph within the Shadow Husk's chest cavity, pinpointing the Primal Blood Continent's coordinates, and with the universal nature of the resurrection ceremony aiding him, he traversed the void to arrive.

He felt as though the myriad layers of space he navigated were all part of the tangible cosmos.

Abruptly.

"Don't come back!"

"Don't return!"

The Soul Echoes of Yu Zhu and Yu Yiyi reached him in succession.

Yu Yiyi's Soul Echo also conveyed visions of the unfolding events on the Primal Blood Continent, where he glimpsed Munch, the elders of the Blood Fiend Clan, and countless clansmen.

He even witnessed dark adepts from the Devil Palace and archdemons from Shadow's Keep plummeting from the heavens.

Upon witnessing the Blood Fiend clansmen penetrating the archdemons and delving into the dark adepts' devil souls, they seemed oblivious to the concept of death, hell-bent on exterminating all who dared to trespass on the Primal Blood Continent.

How could he stay away?

Yu Yuan murmured, a trace of bitterness tugging at his smile. He thought to himself, 'You two are on the Primal Blood Continent, willing to brave any peril, even a mountain of blades or a sea of flames.'

Tan Junshan and Chen Qinghuang were not his reasons for coming.

But with Yu Zhu and Yu Yiyi present, knowing full well the risks, he had no choice but to make the journey.

With a swift tear through the air, Yu Yuan, gripping the Dragon Slaying Stage, stepped forth into the Primal Blood Continent for the second time.

Crack!

As he entered, the bloodstained stone beneath his feet fissured, its hidden spatial veins seemingly severed by an unseen force.

From within the stone, a dazzling blood light burst forth, and scarlet lightning streaked out like cold, piercing arrows.

Affo, slight and red-haired, watched as his hair fluttered above him before each strand vanished, transforming into bolts of scarlet lightning that fractured the stones beneath the feet of Yu Yuan and his companions.

The embedded array was left in ruins, beyond any hope of restoration.

Yu Yuan realized that his entry was permitted by the Blood Fiend; now that he had arrived, the thought of returning by the same means was futile.

"Grec, meet Yu Yuan; he, like you, has lived two lives. In his first, he was known as the God of Medicine, Hong Qi," Affo said, his face stern as he gave a thorough introduction. "Take a good look at him. In the vast Moonfall Sanctuary of the Everlands, he thwarted your plans. Moreover, he harbors an Altar of Rebirth within him, seemingly forged by the Sunsorrow of the Abyssal Leviathan."

"You once commanded a galaxy-wide search for him in the Star River. I suspect the Altar of Rebirth within him could be of great assistance to you."

"Now that he's here, let's close the net and cease waiting for other intruders."

Affo, the Blood Fiend elder, ascended gradually into the sky, drawing ever closer to Grec.

"That's wonderful."

Greco, in his teenage years, beamed with a radiant smile. His eyes, filled with warmth, gazed deeply into Yu Yuan's chest. "It's mine, after all. It shouldn't be too much to ask for it back, should it?"

Yu Yuan's face showed a subtle shift in emotion.

The crimson Altar of Rebirth, gleaming like crystal, continued its transformation towards the Solar Spirit Body.

As his heaven soul delved into the mysteries within, he abruptly sensed that the Altar of Rebirth was being drawn by another force.
