C1183 Medicine Master!

Yu Yuan's first thought was whether he would be able to rouse the Songbird Queen, who had fainted once more, should the siblings show any sign of hostility. If the Songbird Queen were to awaken, the outcome would be the same regardless of who the adversary was. In the presence of Chen Qinghuang, who possessed the combat prowess of a demigod, all Otherkin, except for the Starborn warriors with ninth-level bloodlines, were as fragile as ants.

Even in her confused state, the Songbird Queen could effortlessly annihilate Zekrica. Yu Yuan also had another strategy in mind—summoning the Baneblade known as 'Bloodhell.' After its initial awakening, the Baneblade had become incredibly tame and compliant, likely sensing his extraordinary nature and no longer daring to act mischievously in secret.

He was confident that once the Baneblade responded to the call of his spirit and burst forth from its concealed acupoint, the Otherkin aboard the ancient Voidfarer would become prey to the Baneblade, transforming into orbs of crimson luminescence.

The dark green Voidfarer suddenly cast shimmering ripples, and Yu Yuan, concealed beneath a stone, felt a chill of psionic power wash over him. With a slight shift in his mindset, he abandoned any lingering hope of good fortune.

Carrying the still-slumbering Songbird Queen, he stepped out from behind the boulder and, as expected, saw the Voidfarer, unmistakably Starborn, hovering silently.

"Is it them?" a voice brimming with pride inquired in the Starborn tongue.

"Mm," Pellet of the Moonlit Wanderers confirmed.

With a thunderous boom, the door of the ship swung open, and Denise became a dazzling streak of starlight, hurtling toward the rocky cliff where Yu Yuan stood.

"Be careful!" Darke, Pellet, and several Starborn warriors, their presence formidable and clad in flowing capes, cried out in unison from the stationary warship.

Denise paid them no heed and landed a mere ten meters from Yu Yuan. The impact shattered the ground like granite, sending a whirlwind of dust and debris into the air.

In that split second, even without the ability to wield Soul Power or Vitality, Yu Yuan accurately discerned that she possessed a seventh-level bloodline. In days past, he could have easily dispatched a Starborn warrior of her caliber with a single stroke of crimson sword light from his scabbard.

However, now that his Soul Power and Vitality had dissipated, it seemed he was no longer capable of such feats.

"I am Denise!"

The Starborn noblewoman, clad in opulent attire and exuding arrogance, surveyed Yu Yuan with a detached look as she descended. "Kneel and pay homage to me!"

Denise's name was known to every Otherkin residing in Zekrica.

Upon laying eyes on Yu Yuan, she recognized they had never met. She assumed he hadn't been worthy to meet her back on the Lower Continent.

Thus, she introduced herself to inform Yu Yuan that she was his superior.

The Lower Continent of Zekrica, home to the Shadowkin, meant that Yu Yuan and Chen Qinghuang, as part of the Shadowkin, were naturally her subordinates.

"Kneel down?"

Yu Yuan was momentarily taken aback.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Darke, Pellet, and seven other Starborn warriors swiftly emerged from the warship, positioning themselves behind Denise.

"No matter which village you hail from, as a Shadowkin, you should humbly present yourself before Miss Denise!" The striking Voidweaver scoffed. "And don't bother with excuses. We're certain it was you who stole the Tranquilherbs and Sunfire Blooms!"

"Kid, do you realize how many lives you've endangered?" Pellet lamented.

The other seven Starborn warriors who had disembarked with him examined Yu Yuan with a mix of curiosity and confusion.

The sole eighth-level warrior among them leaned forward slightly, murmuring to Denise from behind, "Miss, there's something peculiar about this young man's presence. I can't determine his level. And the young lady he's carrying... something about her feels off."

As the conversation unfolded, Denise kept her gaze fixed on Yu Yuan with keen interest.

She noted that her servant from the Lower Continent displayed not a hint of reverence in her presence, his eyes betraying a sense of scorn and indifference.

"Miss Denise!"

Suddenly, Mi Ting's voice echoed from the distance.

"Mi Ting!"

"Mi Ting is alive!"

"What a relief!"

Darke and Pellet exclaimed with joy. From the stationary Voidfarer, Guoli and other survivors also made their presence known.

They had been rescued by Denise's warship and were temporarily sheltered within.

Mi Ting, skilled in the art of stealth, had aided many of them in their escape. They were deeply grateful and concerned for her safety.

Having learned that Mi Ting was unharmed, they breathed a sigh of relief.

"I've seen you before," Denise said, tilting her head up to look at the Shadowkin woman who was rapidly approaching.

"Miss, I spotted your Voidfarer soaring through the sky and followed it here," Mi Ting explained, drenched in sweat. After bowing respectfully in front of the Lower Continent's rulers, she nervously glanced at Yu Yuan and then at Chen Qinghuang standing behind him.

"I told you not to disturb us," Yu Yuan stated sternly.

At his words, Mi Ting, also a Shadowkin, retreated several steps in fright, putting distance between herself and Yu Yuan before she clarified, "I-I wasn't following you. I saw the Miss's warship and chased after it!"

Mi Ting's peculiar reaction amused all the visitors from the Lower Continent. Her reputation was outstanding; she was known for advancing her bloodline to the fourth level at a young age, with a promising chance of reaching the fifth level soon.

In the vast world beyond, fifth-level Shadowkin were exceedingly rare. Yet, in Zekrica, a young Mi Ting with the potential to reach the fifth level could attract Denise's attention. There was a possibility that Denise would take her into her personal guard, away from Zekrica to a higher Domain, in pursuit of the next stage of bloodline evolution.

"Now that you know each other, fill me in on the situation," Denise prompted.

"They, they're not from Zekrica," Mi Ting whispered.

"Oh?!" Denise's eyes sparkled with heightened curiosity, and a curious smile played at her lips.

Pellet, Darke, and the other Otherkin from the Lower Continent were taken aback. They quickly reproached Yu Yuan for bringing trouble to the Lower Continent, resulting in many deaths.

The seven Starborn warriors tasked with protecting Denise grew solemn. They discreetly formed a protective circle around her, ready for any unforeseen events.

Every Otherkin in Zekrica, from both the Upper and Lower Continents, was aware of Denise's status and dared not act recklessly. Even the mightiest among the Silverscale, Stoneborn, and Fire Lizard tribes recognized Denise's authority and would not dare to make any rash moves.

Indeed, the seven Starborn warriors were not overly concerned about Denise's safety in Zekrica.

Yet, if Yu Yuan was a visitor from the extraterrestrial...

"Don't ask where I hail from. I belong to the Shadowkin, serving as an alchemist within their ranks."

A thought surfaced in Yu Yuan's mind, prompting him to adopt a haughty demeanor. "To be precise, I excel in crafting potions laced with poison! I harvested Tranquilherb and Sunfire Bloom solely for alchemical purposes. I'm quite intrigued, though—these herbs are indigenous to the Everlands, so how do they come to be found in Zekrica?"

"An alchemist adept at concocting poisons?"

Denise's eyes sparkled with intense excitement, her entire presence seemingly aglow.

"Excellent! Truly excellent!"

Denise whispered to herself, then took a deep breath to steady her emotions. "Come with me to the Lower Continent, to my castle, and let's put your skills to the test!"

"Miss?" Mi Ting was taken aback.

"You've made significant contributions; I'm aware of that," Denise acknowledged with an approving glance. "You'll accompany me to the Lower Continent as well. My good-for-nothing brother won't be returning anytime soon. I won't mistreat him by sending formidable opponents to lay waste to the town his servants have built."

Yu Yuan stroked his chin, lost in thought, yet he didn't immediately respond.

"As an outsider, you are my guest, not a slave. Rest assured, you will be treated well!" Denise extended a formal invitation. "If you truly possess the skill to refine a toxic medicinal concoction, I could use your expertise!"

"Oh, in that case, I'll pay your place a visit."
