C1200 Find out the Truth!

The young Titan Spinosaurus did not awaken at the arrival of Yu Yuan's Lunar Spirit this time, nor did it emit any waves of joy or affection. Yu Yuan sensed that its soul was exceptionally tranquil, bearing a faint resemblance to Chen Qinghuang's current state. While Chen Qinghuang was recuperating from severe injuries, the creature was undergoing a wondrous metamorphosis.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Slender beams of light, dozens of times finer than a strand of hair, burst forth from the nearby dragon corpses, swiftly penetrating the violet-gold shell of the dragon egg and merging into the young Titan Spinosaurus's body, assimilating with its dragon tendons and bloodline.

Yu Yuan, as the overseer of the Dragon Slaying Stage, observed these miraculous events with exceptional clarity through his Lunar Spirit. He was inwardly astounded. Previously, whenever he employed the Lunar Spirit or remnant soul to probe the Dragon Slaying Stage, his insights were not as acute as they were in this moment. It was as though he was scrutinizing his own internal organs and acupoints with his soul.

Could it be that the awakening of his first life had unlocked something? This thought dawned on him, and he quickly surmised that the reawakening of his former self might have strengthened the spiritual bond between him and the Dragon Slaying Stage. It seemed that the enigmatic Hex Stone had finally recognized him, Yu Yuan, as its original refiner and master.

This realization allowed him to perceive nuances previously invisible to him. He watched as numerous delicate, luminous threads entered the young Titan Spinosaurus's body, infusing directly into its meridians and transforming into minuscule sparks imbued with the ultimate truth of the Way of Heaven. These sparks coursed through the creature, gradually converging towards its heart like streams flowing into a vast sea.

Then, a burst of memory sparkles from his Lunar Spirit erupted, and in an instant, Yu Yuan understood the entire saga. The Titan Spinosaurus, the most exalted and mightiest of the cosmic giant beasts, had in ancient times relentlessly hunted and consumed the flesh and souls of lesser cosmic giant beasts. It usurped the blood magic and the profound rules they had unearthed through their awakenings.

By such means, the Titan Spinosaurus had ascended to become the most formidable giant beast, reigning supreme.

However, it had also become the archenemy of all cosmic giant beasts!

As its direct descendant, the purest of its lineage, the young Titan Spinosaurus inherited all the mystical blood magics—both innate and those acquired through conquest and assimilation.

The Cosmic Order, imprinted within its bloodline, naturally emerged at the moment of the young creature's birth.

Yet, whether it was the so-called Titans from beyond the Everlands or the Nagas within, they were either creations of the Old Titan or bred in the aftermath of its demise.

Neither the Titan nor the giant dragon were the young beast within the eggshell, nor were they its pureblooded progeny.

Thus, whether Titan or Naga, they could only inherit fragments of its bloodline mysteries.

The original Titan Spinosaurus was like an immense ocean, from which numerous streams emerged.

Each stream signified a unique bloodline mystery, embodying an ultimate truth akin to destruction, death, and rebirth.

These diverse streams gave rise to different Titans and Nagas, each endowed with their own innate talents—like the golden dragon, frost wyrm, fire dragon, and Chronowyrm.

Each distinct clan of the Nagas was, in fact, a result of one of the Titan Spinosaurus's bloodline streams merging with the indigenous beings of the Everlands.

Dragons of various attributes carried forward different streams of the Titan Spinosaurus's bloodline.

Yet, only the Titan Spinosaurus's offspring possessed them all from birth!

Within its heart, it naturally formed all the blood magics that the Old Titan had, including those it had later devoured and assimilated!

The Cosmic Order, akin to the human's spell, was inherent in its heart from the start!

All it needed was to continuously amass strength and grow. As it did, the Cosmic Order would intensify, gradually igniting and shining forth, eventually transforming it into the primeval Titan Spinosaurus of the first generation!

The dragon corpses buried at the Dragon Slaying Stage, regardless of their rank, originated from its sire, allowing it to effortlessly absorb them, enhancing its power and accelerating its growth.

Yu Yuan had finally pieced it all together.

Then, a deeper concern once again rose to the surface.

He pondered the vast number of Naga clans throughout Everlands' history.

Each Naga clan, capable of birthing a tenth-level Dragon God, had merely inherited a single bloodline stream from the original Titan Spinosaurus.

How formidable was the Titan Spinosaurus in the earliest of times?

How many of its own kind did it slaughter, and how many blood magics did it strip away to transform into such a being?

The secular bird, a harbinger of death and ruin, possessed blood magics that were both bizarre and potent, yet there were merely three varieties.

But when considering the diverse attributes of the Titan Spinosaurus, it had mastered and assimilated upwards of ten different blood magics. And what of the Titan's own power?

The thought alone made Yu Yuan gasp in astonishment.

It was utterly horrifying!

Reflecting on the original Titan Spinosaurus that soared through the Astral Domain, relentlessly preying upon its cosmic giant beast kin, Yu Yuan could surmise why it met such a fate.

It must have been the collective might of all the remaining cosmic giant beasts, banding together, that inflicted grievous wounds upon it, leading to its demise in the Everlands.

Its death gave rise to a different breed of Nagas that first reigned supreme in the Everlands before wreaking havoc in the extraterrestrial Star River.

"Your deceased father truly sends shivers down my spine just thinking about him," Yu Yuan remarked, gazing at the violet gold eggshell. Even his Lunar Spirit, in its spirited body, felt a sense of bitterness.

One could only wonder what the future held for the Star River once this young Titan Spinosaurus reached maturity.

"Now, with the Star River's races growing stronger and the Everlands' five greatest powers, including the resurgence of Boulderdawn, they should be able to contain you, right?"

Even as Yu Yuan marveled at the overwhelming might of the Titan Spinosaurus, he couldn't shake his unease.

At that moment, his real body sensed something.

In an instant, his Lunar Spirit withdrew from the Dragon Slaying Stage, returning to his sea of consciousness, where Chen Qinghuang emerged, followed by a dark green lion-like alien beast, its eyes filled with dread.

This alien beast, a typical Starbeast from the forbidden area, had its body saturated with a potent toxin, which seemed to serve as its very lifeblood.

Within this venomous blood coursed the essence of the fiend's soul, saturating the poison with its presence.

Yu Yuan paused, then quickly pieced it together, "Is it you?"

"It's me."

After infusing a Starbeast with venom, Yu Zhu's father's eyes brimmed with grievance and helplessness.

He gave Chen Qinghuang a pitiful look and instinctively recoiled.

Clearly, he had been severely disciplined by Chen Qinghuang, leaving him without the slightest inclination to defy the Empress of the Songbird Empire.

Yu Yuan flashed a knowing smile, aware that there was no need to summon Xie Bin or Rong Xun to receive the information he sought.

He was about to inquire further when a sudden suction emerged from the acupoints, newly opened by the Shadow Moon Essence.

Narrowing his eyes to focus, Yu Yuan's expression grew somber as he fixed his gaze on the cavernous depths and called out to the fiend, now in demonform from the refined Starbeast, "Is there truly a Lunar Meridian down there?!"

The fiend nodded compliantly, "Yes."

"How did it come to be?" Yu Yuan was genuinely astonished.

"Many years ago, Dhoreus, the ruler of the Land of Terror, roamed the Extraterrestrial Star River with the River of Souls, causing chaos, until Nie Qingtian put an end to his tyranny." The fiend, intimidated by both him and Chen Qinghuang and anxious about Xie Bin's Glacial Storm Seal, spared no detail, "This Lunar Meridian was extracted from Dhoreus by Nie Qingtian and embedded into this little world."

"Ah!?"

Yu Yuan couldn't contain his exclamation.

The subterranean Lunar Meridian originated from the Ghost King Dhoreus, a trophy of the cultivator known as Moon Slayer!

"Does Zekrica stem from the Everlands?"

After steadying his emotions, Yu Yuan's face set into a grave mask as he pressed on with his questioning.

"Yes, Nie Qingtian cleaved through the Rainbow Ocean with a single sword strike, carving out a swath of land. With another strike, he hewed another piece from Dedsend Mount in the southern reaches of the Skyborn Empire. These two lands were joined to create what is now Zekrica, which was then transported into the extraterrestrial Star River," the fiend responded earnestly.

"Dedsend Mount? The former Skyborn Empire is now the Songbird Empire, and to the south, it should be Dedsend Lake, right?" Yu Yuan mused to himself.

The archdemon who had once sought refuge in the Forgotten Ruins, known as Lu Qingyu, hailed from Dedsend Lake. Yu Yuan remembered her.

"Dedsend Mount and the surrounding mountain range were hollowed out. That's how that vast cavity came to be, which then filled with water to form what is now Dedsend Lake, right? Think about it; otherwise, why would it be called Dedsend Lake? What happened to the peak?" the fiend elucidated.

"That's a logical conclusion." Yu Yuan pondered the explanation and nodded in agreement. He then mused, "The Lunar Meridian, the merging of two continents to create Zekrica, and the separation from the Everlands... What exactly is his endgame?"

"To bring his beloved back to life."
