C1220 He Dispelled His Worries

On the flat deck of the warship, dozens of Asura warriors with Eighth Level bloodlines stood solemnly behind two Platinum Asuras of the Ninth Level, listening intently to their conversation. Members of the mighty Asura Clan, once their bloodlines reached the Seventh Level, could withstand the corrosive effects of the Galaxy Extraordinary Talent. Those born in the Dark Domain, with Sixth Level bloodlines, had the freedom to traverse the starry sky without fear of the Galaxy Extraordinary Talent's corrupting forces.

The Asuras who stood unshielded on the deck, foregoing the protection of the cabin, were undoubtedly formidable. Their attention was fixed on the "Blood Boiling War Drum," as they awaited the next moment with grave anticipation. The drum had been resonating with a rhythm that stirred the blood, but now, Demian, who had been fervently playing it, pressed his palms firmly against its surface. Harnessing his bloodline talent, he infused his lifeblood into the drum, attempting to unlock the hidden arcane methods it possessed.

Demian, a Platinum Asura born in the Dark Domain and endowed with a Ninth Level bloodline, was the current keeper of the "Blood Boiling War Drum." His physique, honed through relentless refinement, gleamed with a frigid, snow-white sheen beneath the Illusion Starfield's celestial glow, as if cast from platinum itself. Ninth Level Asura warriors, with their sculpted bodies and innate spurs, could crystallize their vital essence, giving them a white gold hue akin to a natural suit of armor. This is why they were bestowed with the prestigious title of Platinum Asura.

Standing nearly three meters tall with an impressively statuesque build, Demian was such a Platinum Asura. He enjoyed the deep trust of the Asura King Sabonis and bore the significant duty of seeking the "Optimus Sword." Yet, in this moment, Demian was the picture of caution.

Ciara, also of the Ninth Level bloodline but not native to the Dark Domain, was considerably shorter than Demian. Despite her slender frame, the sharpness of the natural spurs on her elbows and knees suggested a lethal capability to pierce through anything.

It was clear that she had honed her body's spikes meticulously, treating them as her most effective weapons.

Ciara exuded a chilling aura. Her slender frame flickered between visibility and obscurity in the eyes of her fellow clanspeople.

All the Asura Warriors were aware that she carried a "Frost Well" within her, which allowed her to connect to the Dark Domain, hence her eerie appearance.

"Could it be Elena?"

Ciara fixed her gaze on the towering figure of Demian, observing the bloodline ripples on the "Blood Boiling War Drum." She sensed a stirring in the soul and quickly sent out a signal, her nerves slightly on edge. "You need to confirm whether the Secular Bird is actually in the cabin."

"I'm on it!" Demian snapped back, clearly agitated.

From their vantage point, they could make out the shattered landscape and the silhouettes of two palaces, glowing like lanterns, yet the finer details eluded them.

However, Cao Jiaze's booming voice, magnified by the Heaven Palace Seal, reached their ears clearly.

They realized the Secular Bird was indeed present.

The thought of the Secular Bird's formidable power caused the two Ninth Level Platinum Asuras to pull back abruptly, not daring to advance.

"Damn it! Beru's here too!"

Ciara, with her keen senses, suddenly noticed a hazy nebula enveloping a flickering meteorite, drawing near from another star system. She exclaimed in alarm.

"Beru?" Demian, taken aback, paused to ponder before commanding, "You handle the communication!"

...

Beneath the battered warship, Elena jolted as her surging bloodline quieted. She then noticed several bloodlines, far finer than strands of hair, around her heart, shining brightly.

The Asura Secret Words emerged amidst the twinkling lights, growing from obscure to distinct.

She paused, bewildered, then turned to Yu Yuan and began, "The other party is Demian, a pure Dark Domain Platinum Asura. Along with him is Lord Ciara. Though Ciara is not a native Dark Domain Asura, she too has been purified by the Dark Domain. They are inquiring..."

She trailed off, hesitating.

Yu Yuan wore an odd expression.

The five fish-shaped Asura Warships, due to Cao Jiaze's overzealous tactics, did not surge forward as planned but instead came to an abrupt halt, thwarting his strategy.

The Asura Clan's visitors exhibited a fear of the Secular Bird that surpassed his predictions.

"How should I respond to him?" Elena inquired.

"Inform him that the Secular Bird is currently dormant, yet it could awaken at any moment," Yu Yuan reflected briefly before adding, "Assure them there's no need for excessive concern. Say that the Secular Bird is on the verge of departing the Illusion Starfield and won't linger. Moreover, Cao Jiaze of the Profound Sky Sect is present, wielding four Heaven Palace Seals."

Yu Yuan approached the base of the ship to stand with Elena as he spoke.

Caught off guard, Elena listened as he commanded, "Pilot this battleship away from this sector. Follow the established galactic trajectory and proceed towards our designated objective."

"Yu Yuan, have you lost your mind?" Cao Jiaze exclaimed.

The sudden halt of the five Asura Ancient Starships at the mention of the Secular Bird made it clear to the Profound Sky Sect's prodigy just how much the Asura Clan's warriors feared the creature.

Yu Yuan's strategy was evidently to distract them with the damaged battleship, alleviating the Asura Clan's concerns.

Whoosh!

The Yimo, who had been concealed within the battleship, made an unexpected appearance.

He paused at the cabin's threshold, his eyes ablaze with multicolored flames, betraying his trepidation as he whispered, "Beru of the Star Race wishes to converse with you through me."

"Beru?"

Yu Yuan paused, then realization dawned, and he scoffed, "So, you encountered Beru and Leo after leaving a part of yourself on that land earlier. What, didn't things go as planned? Did you discover that Beru simply ignored you?"

The Yimo remained silent.

"I neglected to mention during our time in the Epitaxial Realm that Beru and I share a significant bond," Yu Yuan mocked, "Your scheming is truly despicable. Out with it, what does Beru really want?"

The Celestial Star Beast, possessed by the Yimo, glanced back at the battered warship.

Yu Yuan had an epiphany.

Without another word from the Yimo, he understood that both the Star Race's Great Sage and the Asura Clan's envoy shared a common dread of the Secular Bird, uncertain of the creature's current combat prowess.

Considering this, Yu Yuan pondered what would happen if the Phoenix were to return to its peak strength. The current era was vastly different from that of 100,000 years ago. The Tenth Level powerhouses from various races now faced threats from five dominant forces. Additionally, factions like the Blood Devil Clan and the Asura Clan harbored hostility towards the Divine Soul Sect and the Babel Chamber of Commerce.

It seemed unlikely that these foreign races could muster all their top warriors to take down the Phoenix.

If so, and the Phoenix truly regained its former might, the intelligent races of the outer domain would surely be at a loss.

"Have Beru come here; tell him it's by my order," Yu Yuan instructed abruptly.

"And..."

He turned to Elena, "Inform the leader of the Asura Legion to find a way to join us. As for you, take command of this warship and create some distance from this location."

"What about you? What will you do?" Elena asked, her concern evident.

"Don't worry, I can protect myself. They can't touch me," Yu Yuan reassured her with a calm demeanor, gently persuading Elena to return to the damaged warship. He then nonchalantly glanced at Cao Jiaze, "Everyone has time. You might as well hurry and signal the Unrestrained Stage cultivator watching over you to come sooner rather than later."

"He's already en route," Cao Jiaze replied, his expression sour.

"That's a Strange Demon from the Iridescent Cloud Miasma Sea!"

A member of the Thunder Sect named Miao Kun, fixated on the venomous stream within the Celestial Star Beast, fell silent for a moment. Suddenly, as if struck by a realization, he shrieked, "He's in our Thunder Sect's archives! No, according to our records, he should have been long dead!"

"The Thunder Sect, what an unpleasant stench."

The Strange Demon inhabiting the Celestial Star Beast murmured in a raspy, deep voice, yet remained motionless.

He was aware of his current weakness and lack of strength to act.

"Let's get out of here!"

Yu Yuan bellowed, prompting Elena to leave at once.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The battered warship began to tremble violently and then, unsteadily, embarked on a new course of flight.

Soon after, the Asura Clan's warship, along with Beru steering the Meteor Rock, and Gheirat and Leo, arrived in succession as the distance between them and the departing vessel grew.

"Yu Yuan!"

Yu Yuan's expression darkened. The Illusion Starfield was a strategic location, one that couldn't fall into the wrong hands. "Have they now?" he mused, his mind racing with potential strategies. "And what of the Galaxy Ancient Starship?"
