C1347 Using Force to Subdue Others

Streams of light, carrying the majestic breath of dragons, pierced through the void with the power to intimidate the heavens and obliterate all beings.

The most formidable Asuras of this world converged from all directions. A mere glance upward at the sky was enough to be overwhelmed by the awe-inspiring force unleashed by the Dragon Slash Platform, leaving them unable to stand steady.

The Artifact-level Dragon Slash Platform, upon revealing a fraction of its divine might, proved too much for a Sixth Level Asura to bear.

As the radiant beams burst forth, Asuras still a hundred miles from the deep cavern were shaken to their very core.

Yet, the indomitable spirit of the Asura Clan compelled them to trudge forward, making their way towards Ciara's location.

Asuras do not fear death!

With a thunderous roar, the cave, not particularly wide to begin with, suddenly tore open.

The roar from the heart of the earth caused the flat wilderness to undulate violently, as if a carpet were being vigorously shaken. A web of deep fissures appeared, multiplying by the thousands, radiating from the center of the cave where Ciara had fallen, extending wildly in every direction.

The cave itself glowed with a dazzling light, the cracks widening ever more.

Ciara's stifled groans echoed continuously, soon turning into coughs, as if she were at the bottom of the cave, coughing up blood incessantly.

Yu Yuan's elongated Yin God silhouette materialized clearly above the Dragon Slash Platform and suddenly expanded several times in size.

In that moment, he resembled an ancient deity cloaked in the silver radiance of moonlight, gazing down with a detached expression upon the fractured cavern.

"So presumptuous," he remarked with a slight curl of his lip and a tone of cold judgment.

Upon encountering the Platinum Asura who harbored a Frost Well within the Impasse Land, a confrontation was inevitable. He mistakenly believed that it was he who had gravely wounded the Cold Domain Bear, leading to a significant misunderstanding.

Yu Yuan took it upon himself to clarify and halt the hostilities. Partly because the Cold Domain Bear's injuries required attention and care, and partly because he sensed Elena's presence. He was intent on exploring the river of sword light and wished to avoid further conflict.

His actions were not born of fear.

Ciara's subsequent behavior, however, led Yu Yuan to a sobering realization—the other party truly believed his call for a ceasefire was motivated by a fear of death.

The Platinum Asura, who had ascended to the Ninth Level but was not native to the Dark Domain, arrogantly believed she could manipulate Yu Yuan and dictate whether he lived or died at her whim.

She refrained from attacking, thinking she was showing respect to the "Cold Domain Bear."

Consequently, she was constantly verbally targeting him, her face etched with scorn. She even had the audacity to send a message to Alonso, laced with mockery and challenges at every turn.

All of this stemmed from Ciara's sense of superiority and her unwavering self-confidence.

Yu Yuan realized he needed to act in a way that would compel the Asura, who habitually relied on her strength, to consider his proposal with the gravity it deserved.

He chose a star close by because his Yin God would be more secure in a world encased by boundary walls.

Besides, in the realm where the Cold Domain Bear and his true form resided, he couldn't engage Ciara in combat.

A mere growl from the Cold Domain Bear would send Ciara scurrying back into the starry expanse. The idea of a Ninth Level Platinum Asura daring to wage war against him was ludicrous.

Without a battle, without proving his dominance, she would only continue to cause more petty nuisances.

"Get lost!"

Yu Yuan watched as over a dozen Sixth Level Asuras charged across the fractured ice plains with the resolve of martyrs. His face stern, he barked an order in fluent Asura tongue.

Having refined a drop of Ninth Level exotic blood at his Life Altar and fully assimilated it, he had mastered their language and script.

Now, he was a veritable polyglot, an expert in the languages of many races.

"Who are you?"

A hundred miles away, a burly Asura man astride a two-headed snow wolf brandished his silver war pike and bellowed with a mix of ferocity and trepidation.

Yu Yuan couldn't be bothered to engage. He activated a technique from the Ghosting Arts.

His soul power, acting as a mysterious catalyst, harnessed the might of the Frost Dragon from the Dragon Slash Platform, unleashing a spectacular display of ice across the real world.

His soul force, akin to the deft hand of the Dao, wielded the icy energy to conjure hundreds of ice blades.

The Asura warriors who had desperately raced towards him were instantly engulfed by the horrific blizzard. The blades mercilessly sliced through them, reducing them to a blur of blood and flesh in an instant.

"Yu Yuan! If you dare to wreak havoc in the Firefly Starfield, no one will be able to save you!"

Ciara's screams echoed like the wails of a banshee from the depths of hell, sending shivers down one's spine.

Yu Yuan remained unfazed, even pressing the Dragon Slash Platform down a notch and magnifying its size exponentially.

Spanning the heavens, the Dragon Slash Platform covered hundreds of miles, transforming into a separate, radiant white world that dominated the icy expanse below.

To those Asura who could barely glimpse him, Yu Yuan appeared as a deity poised to take dominion over this realm.

...

Next to the river of sword light.

Alonso, the formidable commander of the Asura Clan, with eyes as piercing as blades, suddenly inquired, "What is Ciara up to?"

He turned his attention to Demian, the guardian of the "Blood Boiling War Drum."

Demian, even more imposing and reeking of blood, felt his circulation halt under Alonso's icy stare.

The inherent awe and bloodline suppression exerted by a superior caused Demian to naturally drop to one knee.

With his head bowed, Demian first activated the "Blood Boiling War Drum" to establish contact with the Dark Domain.

Then he reported, "It appears there's been a confrontation with Yu Yuan."

"Yu Yuan?"

Alonso, stroking his slender chin thoughtfully, furrowed his brow before shifting his gaze to Jee Ningshuang, momentarily confined within the Element Cage.

Clad in white, Jee Ningshuang resembled a solitary frost flower on a cliff, her demeanor now serene.

She ceased her sword attacks, no longer attempting to penetrate the Element Cage's barrier with her blade's edge.

Feeling Alonso's watchful eyes, she turned within the confines of the cage to meet his gaze.

Her eyes, exuding an icy and haughty beauty, betrayed not a hint of submission. "This cage cannot kill me."

"I'm aware," Alonso replied with a smile, acknowledging her statement. "There's something about you that might just enable you to break through the Element Cage."

Jee Ningshuang looked on, somewhat taken aback, not anticipating that the Asura Clan's grand commander could discern such a detail.

Her composure and arrogance were underpinned by ample confidence.

The Sword Sect, renowned for its profound heritage, possessed many extraordinary treasures. As a Great Sword Immortal with boundless potential, she naturally had a treasure capable of aiding her ascent to the Primordial Spirit, along with other means of support.

"You refrained from using it due to the steep cost," Alonso said, smiling once more. "Du Yuan and Yue Mu are already en route. You're waiting for them, believing that their arrival will bolster your confidence and resolve to shatter the Element Cage's seal and engage me in a true battle."

Jee Ningshuang remained silent.

"Fear not, I will ensure you're reunited with Du Yuan and Yue Mu right here."

With unshakable composure, Alonso produced an enormous crystal ball from his pocket, speaking with a tone that treasured its worth, "This was crafted from the eye of a Ninth Level Celestial Star Beast from the Illusion Starfield. As we draw nearer, we should be able to catch a glimpse of the world where Yu Yuan and Ciara reside."

The crystal ball burst into radiant light.

Everyone narrowed their eyes, and it seemed as though they could see a new, luminous world floating within the Stars Realm of Yu Yuan and Ciara.

The Dragon Slash Platform came into view!

Yet, in comparison to the Dragon Slash Platform, the figures of Yin God Yu and Ciara were minuscule and difficult to discern.

Even Alonso and Jee Ningshuang struggled to make out the details.

"Fortunately, we've shown some restraint," Alonso whispered to himself. He could see the Asura Kingdom's terrain, desolate with collapsed snow mountains and ice peaks.

The three nations inhabited by the Asura Clan remained unscathed, standing tall without having faced the Dragon Slash Platform's onslaught.

Inside the Element Cage, Jee Ningshuang's eyes shimmered with icy brilliance, as if two dazzling galaxies had been unveiled within them. She strained to discern whether Yu Yuan's figure was present in the crystal ball.

Regrettably, her soul power and sword intent were constrained by the Element Cage, preventing her from unleashing their full might. The crystal ball's reflections were also indistinct, obscuring her view of Yu Yuan's Yin God.

Yet, Alonso's words had confirmed Yu Yuan's presence in the world within the crystal ball, and this knowledge alone set her spirit ablaze.

After three centuries, she would finally be able to traverse the starry expanse beyond her domain, free from the constraints of her sect's reputation, and engage in open-hearted dialogue with Yu Yuan, speaking her mind without reservation.

She had been holding onto words for three hundred years, and she was finally ready to speak them.

This was why she had brazenly violated the sacred rules and burst into the forbidden area.

"Commander!"

Demian looked up abruptly.

Alonso gestured impatiently for him to get to the point. "Ciara sent a message. She said that Yu Yuan had a message for you."

Demian inhaled deeply, noticing Alonso's growing impatience, and hurriedly relayed, "He hopes you will ensure that the light of the Starfrost Sword remains undimmed until it meets with the Swordlight River and the Impasse Land."

Upon hearing this, Ji Ningshuang felt a ripple in her heart.

Her brows, once sharp as blades, seemed to soften slightly with Demian's words.

"Doesn't that kid realize how brilliantly the Starfrost Sword shines?"

Alonso shook his head in disbelief, then provocatively asked, "And what if I refuse? What can he possibly do if I don't agree?"

"This..."

Demian bowed his head once more, as if silently deliberating.

Alonso folded his arms and waited with an air of nonchalance.

His knowledge of Yu Yuan was based on what he had learned after arriving at the Firefly Starfield and hearing about Yu Yuan's exploits from Ciara and Demian.

Later, Elena shared her own experiences with Yu Yuan.

Still, Alonso wasn't deeply impressed.

He simply thought that this kid, who had emerged from the vast expanse with incredible fortune, was lucky indeed. Not only had he gained favor with the Divine Soul Sect, but he had also earned the kindness of the Secular Bird.

Moreover, he had secured the Dragon Slash Platform and the sword soul of the Optimus Sword during his time in the vastness.

Alonso, who had never met Yu Yuan and considered his realm too weak, habitually assumed that Yu Yuan's combat prowess was negligible.

And now, this very person was threatening him?

Alonso was torn between amusement and disbelief.

"Ugh!"

Suddenly, an image in the crystal ball caused his expression to shift dramatically, and he let out an involuntary gasp.
