C1403 A Bold Idea!

As Yu Yuan spoke, the expressions on Yan Qiling and Yu Yiyi's faces turned quite peculiar.

How could you, the undefeated God-King of Boulderdawn, concern yourself with the trivialities of alchemy?

Hong Qi's century was but a blink of an eye, a mere moment in time. Could it have truly impacted you so profoundly?

Their gazes seemed to convey these thoughts.

They both believed that Hong Qi's brief existence served merely as a transition and a stepping stone, turning to the study of alchemy out of necessity due to his inability to cultivate.

To the reborn God-King, Hong Qi's inability to cultivate must have seemed nothing more than a mistake.

Yu Yuan's emergence was to rectify that very error.

Now that you have the opportunity to tread the path of cultivation once more, shouldn't your focus be on enhancing your realm and exponentially increasing your combat prowess?

Why bother with the affairs of alchemy and allow yourself to be sidetracked?

Even if the modest Order of Healing were to produce one or two more Gods of Medicine, what significance would that hold? Could it ever measure up to a God-King?

Yan Qiling and Yu Yiyi, who were privy to Yu Yuan's true origins, harbored complex emotions as they pondered this.

Conversely, Mia and Wen Lu were visibly thrilled by his discourse.

"This is unprecedented, but... with you at the helm, the feasibility is quite high."

Mia, draped in her dark green robe adorned with intricate leaf-like patterns, with a refined stream of psionic power coursing through it, furrowed her brow and voiced her concern: "The realms of the Shadowkin and Wingkind aren't well-suited for human cultivation, as the energy is far too monolithic."

"And there's the pollution," Hu Caiyun chimed in.

Yu Yuan turned his attention to her.

"In the Everlands, the spiritual energy is abundant and pure, accessible to all forms of life. Even mortals can adapt without fear of their flesh being tainted."

Peach Madam elaborated, "It's different in other extraterrestrial worlds. Take Greenshadow, for instance, where the concentration of plant essence is overwhelmingly high. It's certainly advantageous for flora such as trees and flowers. Special beings like the Shadowkin and Wingkind also thrive in this environment."

"Yet, for cultivators like us, an excess of plant essence is unnecessary. We seek a more refined spiritual energy."

"Additionally, the plant essence here still contains a trace of poison. The Shadowkin and Wingkind, being naturally more robust than humans, can not only adapt to it but also easily harness this minor toxin for their own benefit. People like you and me, of course, don't worry about such toxins, because we're strong enough."

"Those from the Sacred Hands who haven't reached the Veil Breaking Stage can't handle the environment in Greenshadow at all."

"Only a select few herbalists from the Order of Healing who have reached the Subtlety and Lunar Spirit Stages can move freely within Greenshadow. You should know, Greenshadow is one of the places in the Darkpinion with the least amount of filth. As for other places..."

She shook her head, choosing not to elaborate further, seemingly pessimistic about the situation.

As a demon who emerged from the Rainbow Ocean, she had spent a fortnight in Greenshadow and was well-acquainted with everything here. She understood that humans, with their frail bodies, would not find it easy to adapt.

"I understand."

Yu Yuan gave a slight nod, gazing at the luminous green wall, sensing its resistance to the psionic power of the Star River. "If the wall could be strengthened, if its purifying abilities were enhanced, wouldn't that solve the problem?"

This question had been on his mind since his arrival.

A vibrant Domain eternally yearns for psionic power from the cosmos.

The wall's purpose is to filter out most of the corrupt psionic powers, retaining only what benefits the stars, allowing life on them to adapt and survive.

Only by doing so can the balance of an ecosystem be preserved.

If the wall surrounding Greenshadow were to be significantly enhanced, reducing the internal filth swiftly, wouldn't that make it possible for people from the Everlands to adapt?

"That should resolve the issue," Hu Caiyun stated promptly.

"In the Everlands, there's no precedent for this. The five supreme forces have always been the rule-makers," Mia gently reminded him.

"That may not always be the case," Yu Yuan replied with confidence.

"If you're serious about trying, I'll convey your intentions to Taishi," Yan Qiling interjected with a cough. "I just think you shouldn't concern yourself too much with these matters. You have a prestigious status, and your potential is boundless. Alchemy... it's merely a minor skill, and you needn't immerse yourself in it."

Yu Yiyi and Hu Caiyun wholeheartedly concurred.

Yu Yuan, having gained the recognition of the Titanblade and on the verge of restoring the Crucible of Evil to its former glory as a Divine Artifact, held an impressive array of such items. His prodigious talent for cultivation was evident, and he had a knack for performing miracles. Yet, his preoccupation with leechcraft led them to believe that Yu Yuan was still caught up in his past life's ways.

"Pills are incredibly beneficial to all beings," Yu Yuan maintained.

"I'll reach out to the Shadowkin and Wingkind. He left clear instructions before his departure, directing the elders of Greenshadow and Wingkind to heed your advice," Mia declared with gravity.

Wen Lu's face lit up with excitement. "I'm eager to see if someone from the Everlands can adapt to life in Greenshadow."

...

Yu Yuan decided to extend his stay in Greenshadow, without rushing back to the Everlands. During his leisure time, he began imparting his knowledge of Everlands' pharmacology to Wen Lu, teaching her several sophisticated leechcraft techniques. Yu Yuan sincerely hoped that Wen Lu would one day make a name for herself as a herbalist in the extraterrestrial Astral Domain.

Previously, the Shadowkin had marginalized and targeted Wen Lu, but those days were over. Yu Yuan soon discovered that the Shadowkin's bloodline had a nurturing effect on the surrounding flora, even hastening the growth of certain herbs. Upon inquiry, he learned that this ability was common among the Shadowkin.

The thought of bringing more herbalists from the Everlands to Greenshadow grew increasingly compelling. Yu Yuan believed that a collaboration between the Shadowkin and those adept in herbalism could lead to significant achievements in Greenshadow.

After Mia's departure, she sought out individuals from the Shadowkin and Wingkind to discuss the matter. Yan Qiling also sought guidance from Taishi.

It was a radical change to consider relocating those with lower cultivation levels from the Everlands to live in the extraterrestrial Star River. Taishi appeared to be consulting with other God-Kings, hence there was no definitive response.

Several days later, Yan Qiling informed Yu Yuan that there was no rush for his return. He relayed that Canli, the saintess of the Dawnbringers, wished to accompany him on another journey to the Everlands.

Canli had an important gift for Chen Liangquan of the Songbird Empire.

Chen Liangquan, a hybrid with half of the Dawnbringers' bloodline, had longstanding ties and support from the Dawnbringers.

Canli, born with the Altar of Rebirth and a saintess of the Dawnbringers, was about to deliver an item of great significance.

She trusted Yu Yuan and had learned of his intentions to return, prompting her to volunteer to accompany him.

Boulderdawn had given their consent.

That day, the Deathwing Lair vibrated with spatial fluctuations, emitting a potent scent of blood.

Yu Yuan, instructing Wen Lu in pharmacology from afar, allowed a slight smile to grace his lips.

A scarlet bolt of lightning streaked across the sky.

In a blink, the bolt transformed into a beautiful purple figure before Wen Lu and him.

"I heard you were in Darkpinion and wanted to see for myself," announced Ann Ziqing of Colddeath.

Years had passed since their last encounter in Zagreus. This Divine Lady of Colddeath, active across many extraterrestrial skies, had recently advanced to the late period of the Solar Spirit Realm.

Colddeath's mystique was famed for its swiftness. Thriving in the extraterrestrial, she had vanquished numerous alien beasts and Otherkin, her cultivation soaring rapidly.

She was contemplating the best way to merge with the Dao and ascend to the Unbound Realm.

She had kept a close watch on Yu Yuan's movements, well-informed of his deeds in the Primal Blood Continent, Kuvrepros, and Brugeth within the Dark Star.

Learning of Yu Yuan's emergence in Darkpinion, she had traveled through the Starway of Zagreus to find him.

"Your cultivation has advanced at an impressive pace," she observed.

Yu Yuan looked at the woman before him, remembering her years of service as his maid, and felt a sense of clarity. "Congratulations. With your skills and temperament, the outside world suits you better. There, you can live freely and act as you wish."

"How could I possibly compare to you? Two Astral Domains were laid to waste because of you. I'm truly humbled," Ann Ziqing said, smiling.
