C1407

"If you don't make yourself clear, this isn't over between us!"

In a fit of rage, Ann Ziqing transformed into a bloodthirsty witch within the Evil Cauldron. Her eyes blazed red, and within the depths of her meridians, blood-colored lightning seemed to streak by.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Her heart vibrated in unison with her Yang God, set amidst the small world of her circulating blood.

Seven amethyst pools levitated, encircling her Yang God, casting a sinister and terrifying purple-red glow. Her splendid purple armor adorned her figure, accentuating her graceful contours.

"Settle down, will you? I really don't see what's got you so worked up!"

Yu Yuan chided.

As Ann Ziqing seethed with anger, specks of blood-colored light began to flicker within the blood-colored world of her seven apertures. This light appeared to be the blood energy she had refined from the powerful demons and alien beasts she had slain over the years, not unlike the blood souls within the Demon Blade, Blood Prison.

"I've already mentioned that there are merely signs and potential for this. I have no intention of turning you into my Blood Slave."

Yu Yuan soothed her with patience. As she moved to step closer, he continued, "Actually, you resemble the Great Demon God Grec more than you do me. Once you break through to the Unrestrained Stage, your Yang God will naturally evolve into a Demon God of the Blood Devil Clan. And should you achieve another breakthrough and ascend to a Primordial Spirit..."

Yu Yuan paused, a new possibility dawning on him.

Blood God Cult's Ann Wen!

At the Peak of the Unrestrained Stage, Ann Wen practiced the Blood God Cult's esoteric arts. Could his peculiar Yang God be akin to Ann Ziqing's?

Was Ann Wen's Yang God, at his current level, not tantamount to a Ninth Level Demon God of the Blood Devil Clan?

If he were to gain the backing of the Divine Soul Sect and the Chamber of Commerce, securing a supreme position and smoothly transitioning his main soul into a Primordial Spirit, wouldn't he reach the Primordial Spirit Stage and thus attain eternal life?

If the Primordial Spirit were immortal, wouldn't his Yang God—the Demon God of the Blood Devil Clan—also be undying?

He had transformed into a Primordial Spirit, but could his Yang God advance further to become a Great Demon God of the Blood Devil Clan, on par with Grec?

The Blood Devil Clan, an aberration among the Outland Devaputra, lacked eternal life.

Not even Grec could achieve that.

In the Boundless Great World, if Ann Wen's Yang God of the Blood God Cult ascended to a Great Demon God, and his core soul evolved into a supreme Primordial Spirit, would he not become immortal?

Could such an anomaly defy the so-called laws of the Great Dao and truly exist?

Yu Yuan was deep in thought.

Yet, no epiphany struck him this time, perhaps because the issue was too complex, far exceeding his current understanding and the boundaries of his knowledge.

"What are you rambling on about?" Ann Ziqing demanded, visibly irritated.

Her interruption at a critical juncture left her deeply unsatisfied.

She still hadn't received the answer she sought.

"Simply put, your potential is boundless. And rest assured, your concerns will not come to pass," Yu Yuan assured her with gravity.

Ann Ziqing was about to press further when Yu Yuan suddenly heard Yan Qiling calling from outside.

"We'll continue this later."

The Evil Cauldron ascended from the earth, and in a flash, Yu Yuan went to reunite with Yu Yiyi.

He and a perplexed Ann Ziqing were thus revealed.

"Am I interrupting something?"

Yan Qiling wore a sly grin as he bowed in a courteous apology, then added, "I have no pressing matters. If you're in the middle of something urgent, I can wait."

"Then wait!" Ann Ziqing snapped.

Her piercing red gaze remained fixed on Yu Yuan. "Explain yourself. Did you use the Divine Soul Sect's soul magic to implant some vile mark in my mind while I was unconscious? Yu Yuan! The An family has been good to you. Don't betray our kindness!"

She invoked her family's name to press Yu Yuan for a clearer, more precise response.

"Uh..."

With an awkward chuckle, Yan Qiling wisely retreated, "Enjoy your chat!"

Yu Yuan, now embodying his Yang God, contemplated her mention of the An family. After a brief pause, he nodded and explained, "My Yang God is rather unique. As you know, I've visited the Origin Blood Continent. There, I encountered a vast and ancient blood entity known as the Yang Meridian Source. It came into existence around the same time as the creature beneath Horror Land."

He meticulously recounted his experiences on the Origin Blood Continent, along with his speculations, to Ann Ziqing. He revealed that the Blood God Cult's secret techniques originated from the Blood Devil Clan, which in turn was created by the source of the Yang meridian. He explained that even the Chaos Roc, a being capable of ruling the world, carried the seed of the Yang meridian's source.

Furthermore, he shared with Ann Ziqing that his own Yang God was deliberately formed by the Chaos Roc and had even incorporated a blood crystal from the Great Demon God. He held nothing back from her, disclosing everything, both what could and couldn't be said.

Ann Ziqing was utterly astonished by his revelations. From the moment he mentioned the source of the Yang meridian, she had not interrupted with a single question, displaying an unusual level of patience.

"I need time to slowly process this. Besides, what you've disclosed is incredibly astounding. There's no mention of such things in the Blood God Cult's ancient texts," Ann Ziqing finally responded after a long pause.

She drifted away, her soul seemingly in a haze, muttering, "You discuss things with Mr. Yan. I need some solitude. I've heard you're returning to the Boundless Great World, and I intend to accompany you. I must see the old man; he's still there, and I have questions that need answers." The 'old man' she referred to was Ann Wen of the Blood God Cult, and her mind was in complete disarray.

"The source of the Yang meridian..." Yan Qiling murmured, materializing with a flicker. He gazed at Yu Yuan with an intrigued look and said with a hint of envy, "Only someone of your caliber could encounter such ancient life forms within the vast starry sea."

"You're familiar with it?" Yu Yuan inquired.

Yan Qiling nodded, admitting, "I've heard bits and pieces, but I truly don't comprehend it."

A mix of resignation and sourness tinged his expression. "I'm not deemed worthy to know much. The Divine Kings who speak of the Yang meridian's source are among us, but they refuse to enlighten me or unveil its wonders."

"Could it be Taishi?" Yu Yuan probed further.

With a wry smile, Yan Qiling shook his head. "Let's not dwell on this subject. My purpose in coming here was to inform you that the Divine Soul Sect and the Chamber of Commerce have consented to give your proposal a try."

He glanced at the barrier overhead and added, "You won't have to worry about the barrier's purification either. Someone will take care of that."

"Is it really possible to arrange for members of the Medicine God Sect to come live in the Green Fluorescent Realm?" Yu Yuan asked, his spirits lifting.

"It's possible, but..." Yan Qiling hesitated, "you are Yu Yuan now, not the Sect Master of the Medicine God Sect. Your ideas require the cooperation of the Medicine God Sect. What makes you so sure that Zhong Chichen and Chu Yao will still follow your orders?"

Chu Yao's appearance with Cao Jiaze, Xu Jingyao, and others indicated the Medicine God Sect's stance.

Given that the Medicine God Sect had aligned with the five greatest powers, it was clearly inappropriate for Yu Yuan to command its members.

He was no longer the current Sect Master of the Medicine God Sect, after all.

"I'm returning this time to clear up some matters. The doubts that have plagued me for years need to be resolved," Yu Yuan responded.

"Alright."

...

Several days later, Canli of the Bright Clan descended into the Green Fluorescent Realm, accompanied by a number of formidable individuals.

Her arrival immediately caught the attention of the elders from the Winged Race and Dark Elfkind, who all came to greet her.

"Please arrange it; I want to head to the Boundless Great World with Yu Yuan from the Divine Soul Sect immediately!"

Standing beneath the barren tree housing the Death Nest, Canli gazed up at the immense bird's nest with a look of awe. She felt the constant emanation of its power and said, "Thank you for your assistance."

"Not at all, not at all."

"It's the least we can do, the least we can do."
