C1419 Suppress

"How could he be so bold?"

Atop the Phoenix Feather Fan, Qi Nandou watched with a sullen expression as Yu Yuan wreaked havoc on the Golden Ship.

Technically, Lee Tihai was still part of the Skyblight Cult. Yu Yuan's resolute action in executing Lee Tihai gave Qi Nandou the impression that Yu Yuan held no regard for the Skyblight Cult whatsoever.

The Skyblight Cult was, after all, where he had spent his entire life cultivating.

"Shouldn't you be more shocked by how powerful Yu Yuan has become?"

Hou Tianzhao's eyes were wide with disbelief. He too was deeply shaken. He had learned from Faang Yao and Yuan Lianyao that Yu Yuan's combat strength now far exceeded his actual level.

What truly surprised him was Yu Yuan's choice to strike first—without a moment's hesitation!

It was one thing to kill independent cultivators, but Lee Tihai had been accepted into the Skyblight Cult, becoming part of the sect. Why then would Yu Yuan dare to make a move against him?

Did they not fear that the five great supreme forces would retaliate against Boulderdawn and the Chamber of Commerce over this incident, accusing them of breaking the rules first?

Moreover, with Yu Yuan instigating the conflict, the powerful figures of the five forces now had a legitimate reason to slay him in these waters!

Zhu Zhenlin from the Devil Palace, especially with Mo Yan's Solar Spirit shattered, would likely be eager to take action!

Hou Tianzhao looked up anxiously at the sky, feeling as though watchful eyes from the various forbidden areas and sacred lands of the Everlands were focused on this stretch of sea.

His instincts were sharp; indeed, several individuals who had reached the Supreme God Seat were covertly observing the situation.

In a hidden enclave of the Ebon Star.

Cao Jiaze stood before a grand palace, in front of a towering stone column. He could see, with crystal clarity, Yu Yuan encircling Lee Tihai with the Baneblade.

Trapped within the blood-red glow of the Baneblade's light screen, Lee Tihai had no chance of escape.

Within the translucent column, a faint shadow stood beside him, both gazing at the scene within the pillar, watching Yu Yuan wield the blade in execution.

"Elder Ancestor Ji, are you just going to stand by and watch?" Cao Jiaze bellowed at the shadow within the pillar, indignant, "This is outrageous, too brazen! We've only just established the rules with Boulderdawn and the Chamber of Commerce! He's barely back and already he's causing bloodshed! If the Divine Soul Sect won't intervene, surely we must make our stance clear, right?"

The faint figure within the towering stone column was another primordial spirit of the Ebon Star — Ji Tianyu.

"Stop putting on an act."

Her phantom replied with a tone of indifference from within the column.

She continued, "The significant well is located within the Dragon Slaying Stage he oversees. It's clear he intends to investigate the Frozen Hellscape and eliminate a few trivial individuals en route. Let him proceed."

"Turn a blind eye?" Cao Jiaze inquired with curiosity.

"Given that he preserved the well from the Shura and the Abyssal Leviathan in the Glimmerdrift Nebula and even returned it to the Everlands, I'll overlook his actions," Ji Tianyu declared.

"And the Nagas? The transformation of the world is triggered by his return, isn't it?" Cao Jiaze probed deliberately.

"That's a matter for later discussion!"

Ji Tianyu huffed.

Her phantom within the column silently vanished.

Similar dialogues were unfolding within the Devil Palace, Shadow's Keep, and even the Sword Sect.

After departing from Dragon Island and materializing near the Frozen Hellscape, Yu Yuan unhesitatingly executed Lee Tihai and the unaffiliated cultivators. All the supreme beings had indeed witnessed this.

Strikingly, they all maintained silence, feigning ignorance.

For to the supreme beings, the unaffiliated cultivators and Lee Tihai were as insignificant as ants.

...

"Far too weak, and utterly uninteresting."

Hovering above the Golden Ship, Yu Yuan observed the blood-red light screen slowly contract, consuming Lee Tihai's flesh, bones, Lunar Spirit, and Solar Spirit, without a trace of vengeful satisfaction on his face.

He had effortlessly dispatched Lee Tihai using only the Baneblade, without the need to deploy the Crucible of Evil or summon the full force of his Solar Spirit.

Lee Tihai, in the middle period of the Solar Spirit Stage, had exhausted all his techniques, yet was effortlessly obliterated by Yu Yuan.

In that moment, Yu Yuan acutely sensed that although his cultivation was just at the nascent phase of the Solar Spirit Stage, his actual power had long surpassed that level.

"Lin Tianming..."

Yu Yuan called out.

"Present! Right here!"

Lin Tianming, who stood nervously at a corner of the Golden Ship, clutched the grey clay jar. Witnessing Lee Tihai reduced to a pool of blood, he struggled to articulate, "Elder Hong, what instructions do you have for me?"

"Do you know why you're still alive?" Yu Yuan inquired.

Lin Tianming furrowed his brow, pondering for a moment before venturing a guess, "Is it because I once... assisted Senior Sister Luo?"

"You're not as foolish as you look," Yu Yuan said, the corner of his mouth twitching. He waved his hand dismissively, "Get lost, and make sure you stay out of my sight!"

Luo Yue had faced death once, yet her Lunar Spirit managed to survive, train in the Land of Terror, and eventually become the renowned Rahu, the Ghost King. Lin Tianming had played a role in her survival, albeit secretly.

She had been good to him in the past; otherwise, he wouldn't have learned the art of cultivating the Blood Leech.

During the conflict between Luo Yue and her junior brother, Luo Yue was on the brink of total annihilation. She was able to preserve a sliver of her Lunar Spirit and flee, thanks in part to Lin Tianming's intervention.

So, despite Yu Yuan's treacherous nature and his readiness to betray Yun Hao to Lee Tihai when things turned sour, Yu Yuan still chose to spare him.

Indeed, upon noticing the Blood Leech within Chou Muge, Yu Yuan suspected it might be his doing.

This man, now known as the Ghost King Rahu, was once the leader of the Poison Cult. When his presence in the Land of Terror was exposed, he immediately fled to the extraterrestrial realms.

He feared the repercussions and the possibility that the Poison Cult's master might seek retribution, prompting his hasty departure.

His return suggests he's found new backing and is no longer afraid.

"Send my regards to Senior Sister Luo!"

With a sly smile, Lin Tianming bowed slightly and, taking his two disciples with him, promptly departed without a backward glance.

"That smile..."

Yu Yuan paused, sensing that Lin Tianming might harbor feelings for Luo Yue. Given her high status as the master of the Poison Cult, he likely never dared to express his emotions.

Yet, when Luo Yue was in peril, his affection led him to release her, allowing her Lunar Spirit to escape.

Thus, she rose to become the current Ghost King.

"My former disciple really had terrible luck. Between Lin Tianming and Feng Zhong, both are equally repulsive and sleazy," Yu Yuan chuckled, shaking his head in amusement.

Feng Zhong of the Skyreach Consortium sported a goatee, resembling an old sage, with a demeanor strikingly similar to that of Lin Tianming.

He harbored a deep affection for Luo Yue, nearly forsaking the Consortium for her sake.

Thankfully, the Consortium remained steadfast, with the current and former presidents unified in purpose.

"We, us?"

The remaining independent cultivators and two dark disciples from the Skyblight Cult, seeing that he remained silent, didn't dare to make a move, looking on with pitiful expressions.

Without sparing them a glance, Yu Yuan vanished in an instant, reappearing on the unnamed island.

"You killed Lee Tihai?!"

Lyu Geng's voice surged with a mix of excitement and anxiety. "With his death, Mr. Yun and the others from the sect won't let this go. You've been too impulsive; there was no need for such action!"

"Even if Yun Hao himself were to confront me, what could he possibly do?" Yu Yuan replied, smiling.

During his time in the Extraterrestrial Star River, he encountered countless formidable opponents: Zhu Huan of the Sunlit Order, Fu Xuanwen of the Ebon Star, Wei Zhuo of the Thunder Sect, the King of Wraiths, the Golden Elephant God, Yue Mu, to name a few. Any one of them could give Yun Hao a run for his money.

Zhu Huan is dead, Fu Xuanwen is dead, and both the Golden Elephant God and the King of Wraiths have fallen in battle. Du Yuan suffered severe injuries...

Yet, he emerged unscathed, thriving.

Among the Otherkin, Brie, the Voidweaver, the Blightwood, Mia, Reid the High Priest of the Primal Demon, Grec, and numerous Demon Gods of the Blood Fiend...

Having interacted and clashed with so many, his view of Yun Hao's Unbound realm was devoid of any reverence.

The Skyblight Cult was not a sect to be feared, with few in the Unbound state. Why should he concern himself with them?

"The five supreme sects have just forged a secret pact with the Boulderdawn Sect and the Consortium."

Chou Muge, though still weak, managed to speak. "You're not worried about the Skyblight Cult, but aren't you concerned that those factions will use your action against Lee Tihai as a pretext to come after you?"

Yu Yuan offered a nonchalant smile. "I'm not worried."

While speaking, he glanced at the sky, his eyes gleaming with an unusual brilliance.

From the moment he had arrived in these waters, he sensed that several of the Most Highs from the Everlands were keeping tabs on him, both overtly and covertly.

He was well aware that the cosmic order the Everlands had used to keep the Nagas in check had failed, drawing the attention of primordial spirits and Dark Deities alike.

Yet, he also believed that in this new era, with the limited number of Supreme God seats available, it wouldn't be straightforward for the Nagas to find a path to ascend to Dragon God status, even if their seals were broken.

As for himself, dispatching a few solitary practitioners like Lee Tihai was of no consequence. Given their temperaments, they wouldn't dare to intervene.

Besides, he was in possession of the Wintermaw, and his purpose here was to delve into the mysteries of the Frozen Hellscape.

"I believe in you!"

Chou Muge affirmed with a slow nod.
