C1425 Devil Blade

Above the sea at the base of the Cold Abyss, Su Yan's Yin God drifted through a region thick with Yin Qi. Nearby, women from the Cold Yin Sect and Cloud Water Sect were also present with their Yin Gods. Not far from these ethereal presences, an ice-cold spirit boat floated. Their true forms, enveloped in egg-shaped shields of spiritual energy, sat in silent meditation aboard the vessel.

At the Yin God Stage, these Yin Gods could only venture a short distance from their physical bodies before fatigue set in, rendering them increasingly ethereal and necessitating a return to their bodies for rejuvenation. To avoid any mishaps, they maintained a thirty-mile radius from the spirit boat, ensuring they didn't stray too far from their corporeal selves.

While adrift in the deep sea, Su Yan's Yin God picked up a mysterious voice beckoning her to explore further. The voice resonated deeply within her Yin God, stirring a sense of familiarity that, upon closer reflection, she couldn't quite place.

"Li Ying, did you hear anything?" she projected a soul thought to a fellow cultivator from the Cloud Water Sect nearby.

"No," replied Li Ying, her slightly fuller figure casting a disapproving glance at Su Yan. "Don't get distracted by fantasies. We can't afford to waste this precious chance to refine Yin Qi."

Su Yan chose to remain silent thereafter. Her Yin God, along with those of her companions, resumed the delicate task of absorbing minuscule Yin Qi particles, integrating them into the depths of their souls to refine their spirits.

Yet, the mysterious call resurfaced before long, growing more familiar with each echo. After a moment's hesitation and seeing the others engrossed in their cultivation, Su Yan discreetly moved towards the source of the voice.

Suddenly, a surge of pure Yin energy burst forth from the ocean's depths beneath her soul form.

Whoosh!

The Yin Qi was incredibly dense, carrying with it the raw power of the Yin Meridian, which flooded into her Yin God. Back on the spirit boat, Su Yan's physical body shuddered as her eyes snapped open, brimming with wild joy.

She felt the potent Yin energy that had erupted, coursing through every soul meridian of her Yin God in an instant, purifying her soul. The profound Soul Arts of the Taiyuan Sect seemed to awaken, illuminating her Consciousness Little World with newfound brilliance.

Su Yan's Yin God and her very essence were brimming with excitement. She was convinced that her journey to the Nether Abyss had been a smart decision.

She believed she had received some form of blessing and stumbled upon a tremendous opportunity.

"Su Yan, where have you been? Why is your Yin God shining?"

Li Ying from the Cloud Water Sect couldn't contain her astonishment upon witnessing Su Yan's Yin God materialize, radiating a soft green glow.

The members of the Cold Yin Sect and the Cloud Water Sect also noticed the marvels surrounding her and marveled at the sight.

"It seems I've encountered a stroke of luck meant for me," Su Yan said with a smile.

...

On the opposite end of the abyss.

The unique Loong Tianxiao retracted his distinctive form, assuming the appearance of a rugged, burly man.

A dragon horn, purple-red in color and identical to Loong Jie's, emerged on his forehead.

After consuming a Low Rank Cold Serpent, he parted ways with the rest of the Sword Sect, preferring to roam alone in search of other cold-attribute Demonic Beasts.

He was acutely aware that Kong Banbi's slightly favorable treatment was only due to Chen Qingyan's influence.

The other Sword Sect disciples who had come along clearly looked down on him.

He possessed the lineage of the Nagas, yet he was not a pure dragon; he was a human-dragon hybrid.

In the Boundless Great World, having dragon blood was not something to be proud of.

The upper sects, like the Sword Sect, felt innately superior to the dragons of Hidden Dragon Lake, let alone a hybrid like him.

Loong Tianxiao sighed inwardly, increasingly convinced that his choice to follow Chen Qingyan and join the Sword Sect had been a mistake.

In the past, trapped in a desperate situation in Chilly Wind Valley within the Jade Peak, he had been at his wit's end. It was only through Yu Yuan's intervention that he was accepted by Chen Qingyan, becoming an affiliate of the upper sect.

Yet within the Sword Sect, even the sword cultivators of the Starfrost Sword lineage barely acknowledged him, not to mention those from other factions.

Since joining the Sword Sect, he had never been summoned by Ji Ningshuang. The leader of this lineage clearly didn't regard him, an outsider, as significant.

It wasn't until the news of Yu Yuan being the Medicine God, Hong Qi, spread throughout the Boundless Great World that Ji Ningshuang granted him an audience.

At that moment, Loong Tianxiao realized that the leader of this faction was finally acknowledging him due to his connection with Yu Yuan.

"If only I had known, I would have stayed in the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area. I might have even become a member of the Divine Soul Sect," he mused to himself.

Suddenly, an overwhelming force, a blend of Frost Energy and a chilling aura, roared toward him from a distance like an icy dragon, heading straight for him.

Whoosh!

The immense power flooded his chest and burst open like a downpour, scattering droplets of pure energy.

Among them were golden specks, carrying the breath of the golden dragon!

Loong Tianxiao's body shook violently, and he appeared overwhelmed. This force, beneficial to both his flesh and soul, had arrived so unexpectedly and was extraordinarily peculiar.

He had no idea what had just occurred, as if he had suddenly received divine favor and caught the attention of a deity.

...

Qin Yun's Yang God, still in the midst of refinement, resembled red granite with natural flame patterns slowly emerging.

Each pattern was a secret art of flames that Qin Yun had mastered. He imprinted them onto the Yang God and gradually submerged them beneath his skin, to enhance the potency of his flame techniques in the future.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

His Yang God swung its arms, movements stiff, as he slowly acclimated to his new form.

The waters of the Nether Abyss were occasionally let in by a light screen to douse his Yang God, hissing as they quenched the excessive flames.

Whenever his inner fire reached a peak, the seawater was there to soothe it.

"It's progressing smoothly."

Kalpa Ghost King sat idly by, watching Qin Yun's Yang God take shape and the repeated dousing by seawater.

Having accompanied Qin Yun to Horror Land for numerous soul cleansings, she was confident that his breakthrough would encounter no issues.

Everything was unfolding just as she had anticipated.

"Eh!"

She abruptly stood, her gaze cautiously sweeping over the sea behind her as she sensed an eerie and unexpected energy surge.

Within the depths of this odd energy was a robust Frost Energy and... the refined Yin Qi she knew all too well!

Within the Yin Qi, there seemed to be a hint of the essence of Yang Meridians!

Before Qin Yun could react or defend himself, the bizarre and mysterious energy that surged forth penetrated the light barrier and reached him.

Qin Yun's physical form and Yang God quivered slightly as he looked at Kalpa Ghost King, Old Cash, and Tan Yuan in amazement.

"Besides you, who else is secretly guarding my path?" he asked with curiosity.

Old Cash, Tan Yuan, and Kalpa Ghost King exchanged puzzled glances.

"You don't know?"

"We have no idea!"

...

"He remains as loyal and righteous as he was back then; I certainly wasn't wrong about him."

A figure in a white robe approached, a Yin God capable of withstanding the peculiar chill of the abyss, unaffected by the attacks from the seven pits.

The newcomer was Zhou Cangmin, the current Demonic Seed of the Red Devil Sect.

He had come to know of Yu Yuan's inevitable arrival through a message from Hou Tianzhao and had even sought the Sect Master's permission before coming...

With permission granted, he came quietly, his Yin God presence undetected.

He observed Yu Yuan skillfully extracting strands of Frost Energy, deftly controlling them with his soul, and integrating them into his own strength before bestowing some upon Su Yan, Loong Tianxiao, and Qin Yun.

While it was expected for Qin Yun, the fact that Yu Yuan extended this generosity to Su Yan and Loong Tianxiao, who were not particularly close to him, left Zhou Cangmin quite astonished.

Nonetheless, Yu Yuan's actions were heartening to him; it was clear that Yu Yuan had not changed.
