C1447

Yu Yuan's Lunar Spirit lingered at the border between the Skyblight Cult and the Terror Claws. His real body sat poised in the Sundering Isles, while his Solar Spirit wielded the Baneblade, Bloodhell, advancing towards the location where Loong Jie was ensnared.

The entity was divided into three distinct parts. The souls of these three aspects were seamlessly intertwined, maintaining a tight-knit connection. With a mere thought, his real body and Solar Spirit could instantly converge upon the Dragon Slaying Stage.

As the Solar Spirit soared, Yu Yuan silently practiced the art of Soul Forging through Enlightenment, contemplating the peculiar and intricate situation unfolding before him. At this critical juncture, the five paramount forces needed him, so upon his return to the Everlands, they would tolerate his actions, no matter what he chose to do.

Moreover, these five forces had reached an unspoken agreement with Boulderdawn, resolving to avoid conflict for the time being. They were also in the midst of organizing a significant council and intended to extend invitations to Boulderdawn and the Chamber of Commerce. Given these developments, he doubted that these factions were the ones causing mischief.

Therefore, the resurgence of the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiend was likely a consequence of his own actions. He didn't ponder the intentions behind the Bloodbrawlers and Terra Fiends' brazenness; he simply wondered... why did they dare?

In the present Everlands, teeming with Primordial Spirits and Dark Deities, many of the preeminent warriors from the five supreme forces and Boulderdawn had returned. What emboldened the Terra Fiend and the Bloodbrawlers to act so recklessly?

In the absence of the supreme primordial spirit, their opposition to him was a direct challenge to Boulderdawn. Who was backing them?

Yu Yuan believed that the Everlands, at this moment, should be the most secure place in the Infinite Galaxy, home to the mightiest of cultivators. For the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiend to cause trouble was akin to courting death.

From his knowledge of the Terra Fiend and his intuition about the Bloodbrawlers' cultivators lurking in the shadows, he knew neither group was foolish; both were exceedingly cunning and malicious. Their audacity to defy the five great powers and Boulderdawn suggested they had a powerful ace up their sleeve.

The five paramount powers had convened a council with the Boulderdawn and the Chamber of Commerce to deliberate on two pressing matters: the relocation and establishment of a new Wintermaw, and the enigmatic Origin Deity—a force that had long existed and was now rapidly expanding its influence.

This very force had obliterated another Wintermaw and plotted a devastating blow to the Everlands!

The Origin Deity!

Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit's eyes blazed with sudden insight as he discerned the underlying patterns.

He immediately grasped the full picture, realizing that the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiends' boldness stemmed from the backing of the Origin Deity, likely spurred on by this malevolent power.

After all, once the Boulderdawn and the five dominant forces set aside their animosities, no life forms or powers within the vast Infinite Galaxy dared to challenge them—none but the mysterious Origin Deity.

The Black Tortoise's shell suggested that a survivor of the Bloodbrawlers had been concealing their identity and drifting in the extraterrestrial realms for years, possibly encountering the Origin Deity there.

Alternatively, the Origin Deity might have sought them out.

With the reawakening of several Terra Fiends and the Bloodbrawlers' secrets resurfacing, it's conceivable that those individuals were still lurking deep underground, opening an Origin Gate to connect the Origin Deity and the Terra Fiends...

It was the backing of the Origin Deity that emboldened the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiends to conspire against him in the shadows of the Everlands!

"If this is indeed true, the actions of the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiends are not a result of my past life as Hong Qi, nor because I uncovered their scheme against the Order of Healing! To the Bloodbrawlers and the Terra Fiends, that was merely a minor incident, unworthy of concern."

"Their true objective is me, in this life—the Dragon Slaying Stage that I wield!"

With a whoosh, his Solar Spirit Body came to a halt above the ink-blue sea.

Looking down, he saw a vast area teeming with innumerable evil spirits, all writhing and howling below.

Deep within the seabed, an immense ghost was being venerated by hordes of evil spirits, as if it were softly weeping.

The golden dragon, as serpentine as a mountain range, swam beneath the deep sea. Its scales, shimmering like molten gold, occasionally flashed, annihilating thousands of evil spirits in an instant. Yet, the vanquished spirits would merge back into the vast ghostly mass, quickly reforming into shape.

"Spectre Binding Scroll!"

After a brief inspection, he realized that the true Spectre Binding Scroll lay in the depths below, ensnaring Loong Jie in its grasp. The Sigil of Infernal Binding Cheng Bo had acquired on beast skin was merely a facsimile of the authentic scroll.

All rune circles derived from the Spectre Binding Scroll served to bolster its power, capturing evil spirits to feed its strength. Suddenly, Yu Yuan sensed an unseen gaze upon him. It was not just his Solar Spirit that felt it, but also his Lunar Spirit and the Dragon Slaying Stage, situated far off in the Land of Quiescence...

"Who's there?"

With this thought, his Solar Spirit gazed skyward, yet discovered nothing. Meanwhile, the Lunar Spirit merged with the Dragon Slaying Stage, casting a vague silhouette across the barren desert. Zu Ann, adorned with a crest and clad in ancient robes, alongside the Ape puffing on his pipe, materialized atop Skyreach Peak.

Several other figures, their presence deliberately obscured, let slip only the faintest whiffs of their essence. A wisp of aura, brimming with the sword's will, unmistakably from the Sword Sect. Another, exuding a commanding righteousness, belonged to the Ebon Star. A fiery breath, as scorching as earthfire, signaled the highest echelon of the Sunlit Order. And a shadowy essence, as profound as a demonic abyss, marked the presence of the Demon Lord from the Devil Palace.

In three separate locations, three Yu Yuans experienced a simultaneous jolt of shock. He instantly grasped that the venerable beings of the Everlands, whether returned from the extraterrestrial realms or awakened from prolonged seclusion, were all observing him in their unique ways.

They watched from the darkness, scrutinizing his every deed and decision. These entities, having stood upon the summits of the Everlands for untold ages, now willingly disclosed their distinct auras, revealing their identities.

Their message was clear: they were watching, attentively monitoring his every move. It was evident that the subtle machinations of the Terra Fiend and the Bloodbrawlers had likewise captured the attention of these exalted watchers, prompting their vigilance.

They were just as bewildered and perplexed as he was, unable to fathom why the Terra Fiend and the Bloodbrawlers would be so bold!

Since the Terra Fiend and the Bloodbrawlers had targeted him, using him as a test subject to obtain something, the pinnacle beings of the Everlands began to observe in silence.

He pondered what sort of scheming individuals were lurking behind the Terra Fiend and the Bloodbrawlers.

"If you're watching and you too seek to understand the reasons, you ought to support all of my actions!"

Atop the Celestial Isle, Yu Yuan's real body ascended to the summit of the tallest tower, gazing up at the sky filled with drifting clouds, he bellowed, "Clouds move, and I will act freely. Please reveal to me your intentions!"

Yin Xueqi, Tong Laoqian, Taruer, Zheng Luanjie, Qi Lingyu, and the rest observed his demeanor and his words, finding themselves utterly mystified.

Yu Yuan simply fixed his gaze on the firmament.

Suddenly...

The clouds began to disperse from one another, as if deliberately avoiding contact.

There was no breeze, no presence, and no detectable blood qi or remnant souls, no spiritual energy or any special forces at play, yet the clouds were in motion.

"One, two, three, a total of nine clouds!" Yu Yuan exclaimed in astonishment.

"What do nine clouds signify?" Tong Laoqian pondered, scratching his head.

It wasn't just him; the inhabitants of the Celestial Isle and the majority of those on the Sundering Isles were equally puzzled.

What could the clouds possibly represent?

And what deeper meaning could their movement hold?

In that moment, after inhaling deeply, Yu Yuan declared, "It signifies the presence of nine... supreme beings."

Those who were close to him felt as if they had been struck by lightning upon hearing his words; they were frozen, unable to utter a single word.

"Are the nine supreme beings responding to you? Supporting you?" Zheng Luanjie's mind was in disarray.

"No. It's not just the nine responding to me, but all the supreme beings of the Everlands have made their response. It's just that the others are not positioned above the Celestial Isle," Yu Yuan explained with earnest gravity.
