C1452 The Commotion of the Earth Demon

The Ghosts Poisoning Array had lost much of its significance since Yu Zhu's bloodline had broken through to the Ninth Level, transforming her into a genuine Demon King Spider Queen.
As long as Yu Zhu remained on the island, in this realm, she was virtually unbeatable unless a supreme being personally intervened.
Now, the toxic mists of the Ghosts Poisoning Array merely served to obscure her presence, preventing the great demons, the younger members of the Demon Palace, and any humans passing by from glimpsing her true form.
On the modest island, Yu Zhu's figure had elongated gracefully. Despite her skin still being a touch dark, her features were far from unattractive.
She abruptly opened her eyes, casting a detached gaze upon the demonic shadow that was emerging bit by bit from the colorful miasma.
It was a gray fox.
Dressed in human garb, the gray fox resembled a wandering warlock, his pupils ablaze with infernal fire.
He respectfully bowed to Yu Zhu, saying, "I am called Ghost Fox, hailing from the Foul Land below. The Fox King of the Demon Palace is a demonic vessel I have crafted. I belong to the Earth Demon Clan, born within the Iridescent Cloud Miasma Sea."
"We share a certain connection."
The Earth Demon, who introduced himself as Ghost Fox, forced a smile and added, "I've come specifically to reveal the truth about your mother's demise."
The demonic fire in Ghost Fox's eyes flared intensely as he involuntarily glanced skyward, as if in fear of something.
Yu Zhu's hands, previously resting on her knees, were now folded across her lap as she continued to regard the emerging Earth Demon with a cool demeanor. "Even the exalted ones of the Boundless Great World need my permission to peer into this place. Your presence here is by my allowance."
"I am grateful for your leniency," Ghost Fox quickly responded.
"Go on," Yu Zhu prompted.
Ghost Fox hesitated, then began, "Your mother's death—"
"Speak only of what you can offer me," Yu Zhu cut in, showing signs of impatience.
"Very well!"
Ghost Fox straightened up, nodding earnestly. "What the Demon Palace cannot provide, the Earth Demon Clan can. You possess not only the lineage of the Demon Clan but also the roots of the Earth Demon. Surely, you must sense that deep within the Boundless Great World, a place is stirring back to life?"
Yu Zhu fell silent for a moment before nodding. "Beneath the surface, it feels like something is calling out to me."
The Ghost Fox perked up with sudden fervor. "That's where you belong! There, you can ascend and be purified! In the Boundless Great World, only beings like us, the Earth Demon Clan, are a perfect fit! We need you, and you need us too! We're the only ones who can help you achieve everything!"
"Foul Land..." Yu Zhu murmured under her breath.
She had sensed for some time that the underground realm of the Boundless Great World had been restless of late.
Now and then, she caught the scent of several extraordinary beings, their auras seeping out, piquing her curiosity.
Her soul and demon form felt the allure, an instinct telling her that delving deeper underground would grant her greater power.
Lately, she had been pondering what was happening, and then this Ghost Fox appeared.
"You truly belong there! Believe me! Once you're there, you'll be mightier than you are in the Absence Relic! You could become one of the strongest there, eventually standing shoulder to shoulder with the highest powers, or even slaying them!" The Ghost Fox's voice rang out with the zeal of a prophet.
"Kill... the highest powers?" Yu Zhu's eyes sparkled, and she inhaled softly, replying, "I'll consider it."
The intangible might of the Great Dao, coupled with the pressure from her exalted soul, weighed upon the Ghost Fox, causing it to drift and slowly descend.
The Ghost Fox's cries still resonated around the mid-lake island, "Believe me, you'll be a deity there! If you're skeptical, just make the journey below, and you'll see I'm right!"

As the Ghost Fox vanished below, Yu Zhu scoffed, "In the Absence Relic, I'm already a deity, and no one dares to intrude lightly. Even if..." Her gaze drifted towards the Demon Palace.
Having returned from the Outland Star River and refined a blood-red crystal from the Great Demon God Grec, she had become an anomaly within the Earth Demon lineage. The other part of her Earth Demon soul mark glowed with an unusual brilliance, skyrocketing her power and inflating her confidence.
She felt fearless, confident that aside from the enigmatic Demon Phoenix, she could face the Sky Tiger and any other challenger within the Absence Relic without trepidation.
She had indeed felt a strong pull from the underground Foul Land recently, as if something there was beckoning her to come and explore.
Yet, she was still uncertain and wanted to observe it further.

"My Yin God and the White Bone Lord will explore the underground Foul Land together. Senior Qi, please find a way to reach out to Feng Zhong and tell him not to bother searching for Luo Yue anymore."
After Yu Yuan's true form had merged once again with his Yang God, he addressed the group before him.
The old lascivious dragon on the island, Loong Jie, was taken aback by the news that the White Bone Lord intended to venture into the underground Foul Land. "Why would he go there? Is the world about to change?"
"White Bone Lord is entering the underground?!" Qianjie gasped in shock.
Qi Lingyu's face turned serious, and she nodded, saying, "I'll communicate with Feng Zhong."
"Luo Yue is trapped, and my Evil Cauldron has been pulled into the Foul Land as well. Moreover, the remnants of the Ghost Wizard Sect have a history of persecuting White Bone," Yu Yuan clarified.
From his discussion with White Bone, he surmised that the remnants of the Ghost Wizard Sect must have deceived Yun Hao.
The fall of the Evil King Yu Xi, he suspected, must have been condoned by other supreme beings of the Boundless Great World behind the scenes.
He couldn't pinpoint exactly who was involved, but White Bone seemed to have an inkling and was biding his time, waiting for the right moment to settle the score.
"With your Yin God and the Dragon Slash Platform, along with White Bone, there shouldn't be any issues," Loong Jie remarked.
He was aware of the Foul Land's origins and the reluctance of the Boundless Great World's supreme beings to get involved, fearing the potential for serious trouble.
However, if it was White Bone, the ghost deity of Horror Land and the spokesperson for the Yin Meridian's source, Loong Jie believed it could work.
He hadn't considered it before because White Bone had only recently ascended to godhood and was a unique type of ghost deity.
"Please make arrangements for my main body to visit the Medicine God Sect," Yu Yuan requested of Zheng Luanjie. "Thank you for your assistance. Use the space teleportation array on Babel Island to send me to the location nearest to the Medicine God Sect."
"Come with me," he said, turning to Loong Jie.
"It would be an absolute pleasure!" The old dragon's face twisted into a peculiar grin. "It's been many years since I last visited the Medicine God Sect. I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to return and would love to take in the sights. And if I could acquire a few pellets, that would be splendid, as I've been feeling somewhat weary lately."
Yu Yuan regarded the old dragon with a curious look. "You're already at the peak of your strength."
The old dragon burst into raucous laughter. "Indeed, I am at my peak! Yet, I believe I can become even stronger!"
"Please make the necessary arrangements," Yu Yuan requested once more.
If it were just him, he could instantly transport himself to the Dragon Slash Platform and then make his way to the Medicine God Sect from the desert. However, since Loong Jie couldn't accompany him in that manner, they would need to utilize the grand array.
"No trouble at all," Zheng Luanjie replied with a smile.
"I'd like to join as well!" exclaimed Yinn Xueqi.
"You were always meant to come with us," Yu Yuan affirmed with a nod.
