C1480 I Am Rovi!

The moment Yu Yuan plunged into the Seven-Colored Lake, the surrounding Bloodbrawlers and other Terra Fiends were completely taken aback.

The fledgling Terra Fiend, freshly emerged from the thundersnake, was caught off guard and swiftly ensnared by Yu Yiyi wielding the Crucible of Evil. It was yanked to the bottom of the crucible in the blink of an eye.

Huangyin witnessed the capture of the new generation of Terra Fiends with only a hint of surprise.

Yet, as the progenitor of the Terra Fiends, he chose not to intervene at that moment.

From within the wooden tombstone, the ancient Terra Fiend with a refined appearance merely glanced at the Crucible of Evil and refrained from acting.

She shared Huangyin's sentiment that this new generation of Terra Fiend was overly presumptuous. Being pulled into the Crucible of Evil was a fitting lesson.

Both she and Huangyin were of the mind that the Crucible of Evil and Yu Yiyi would inevitably end up in Huangyin's possession, and the cauldron would change hands.

Once the new generation of Terra Fiend was transformed into a Bane, they would still pledge allegiance to Huangyin as their master.

With such an inevitable outcome, she saw no reason to intervene, considering it merely a question of timing.

Besides, the defiant attitude of the new generation of Terra Fiends towards her and Huangyin had long since soured her disposition towards them.

"This..."

Yuan Qingxi, the elder of the Bloodbrawlers, had to halt the casting of his Evil Curse due to Yu Yuan's unforeseen move.

Confusion swirled within Yuan Qingxi as he pondered why Yu Yuan would dare to enter the Seven-Colored Lake in his true form.

White Bone, the God of Ghosts, stood motionless by the lake, his face void of emotion.

Yu Yuan's unexpected move, Huangyin's astonishment, and Yuan Qingxi's reaction failed to pique his interest.

He seemed detached, preoccupied with thoughts of matters personal to him.

On the ground below.

Amplified by the Altar of Rebirth within Canli, the Fallen Star Eyes seemed to peer into the Defiled World, witnessing Yu Yuan's daring endeavor.

Above, the onlookers exchanged bewildered glances, unsure of their next move.

The fierce battle had come to a halt when the new generation Terra Fiend was captured within the Crucible of Evil. With Yu Yiyi at the helm of the Crucible, she returned to the Dragon Slaying Stage, and with Yu Yuan's disappearance, all action ceased.

Beneath the murky waters of the Seven-Colored Lake, a crimson light shield enveloped Yu Yuan's real body, casting a dim, mystical glow. Unaffected by the corrosive waters, upon his descent, he could see a multitude of coral-like skeletons scattered across the lake's depths. These bones, resplendent and lustrous, shimmered with an enchanting light.

A mere glance was enough for him to discern that the lakebed was strewn with the remains of ninth and tenth level archdemons and dragons. The tenth level archdemons were known as Dark Deities, while the tenth level dragons were revered as Dragon Gods. The skeletons of these mighty creatures were devoid of flesh, leaving only their glowing bones, and even those were incomplete.

Yu Yuan surmised that these Dark Deities and Dragon Gods had perished elsewhere, and parts of their remains had been claimed by the Terra Fiend and Bloodbrawler elites before being discarded into the Seven-Colored Lake. Despite their demise, the severed limbs of these deities still harbored pure and immense energy.

Over centuries and millennia, the vital energy within the lake had been dissolved by the polluted and incredibly corrosive waters, enriching the Seven-Colored Lake with an even more potent psionic power. Only the bones, too durable for the relentless erosion, had survived.

The scarlet light shield he had conjured was under assault by the lake's waters, its power steadily diminishing. Yet, he was confident in its durability. With a mere thought, he confirmed the unbroken spiritual link to the Dragon Slaying Stage. This connection meant that should he encounter an insurmountable danger at the lake's bottom, he could instantly teleport back to the safety of the Dragon Slaying Stage. The presence of the stage above the water's surface provided him with an additional safeguard.

"The ripples in space..." He attuned himself to the sensation, drifting slowly through the lake. To his surprise, he discovered that Huangyin, the original Terra Fiend, was not rushing to engage him in battle below the surface.

Since Huangyin emerged from the Seven-Colored Lake, shouldn't his combat prowess skyrocket if he were to fall into its waters? Why would he pass up such an incredible opportunity? As this question took root in his mind, Yu Yuan's eyes sparkled with realization. He spotted a figure emanating a seven-colored radiance from within a colossal skull!

It was indeed him!

Yu Yuan swiftly closed the distance. Approaching, he first scrutinized the massive skull, only to discover it wasn't the dragon or archdemon he recognized. Instead, it was the cranium of an Abyssal Winged Lizard! The skull spanned dozens of acres, shimmering with a crystalline glow, as if it had been severed by a blade and brought to rest at the bottom of the Seven-Colored Lake.

Seated within the skull, the individual radiating the seven-colored light appeared minuscule in comparison. Yet, as Yu Yuan drew nearer, his expression turned solemn. His attention was captivated by the luminous figure; he couldn't look away... This person was alive, not an inanimate object.

Moreover, this individual was neither from the Everlands nor a transformed archdemon, nor even a hybrid. The memories and sensations fused with the Solar Spirit within him revealed that this was a pure-blooded Voidweaver! Their body was suffused with seven-colored light and pulsating space magic.

Yu Yuan realized that the spatial disturbances he had sensed at the Dragon Slaying Stage were merely... the heartbeat of this individual! Each beat of their heart sent waves of spatial tremors rippling through the area. It was precisely because this person was at the bottom of the Seven-Colored Lake that the others on its shores remained oblivious.

With a whoosh, Yu Yuan passed through the skull's enormous eye socket, finding the light inside considerably dimmer. The Voidweaver, seated in tranquility and glowing with a seven-colored brilliance, stood out even more strikingly. He seemed to have anticipated Yu Yuan's arrival, showing no sign of surprise. The extraterrestrial visitor, exceptionally handsome, greeted Yu Yuan with a slight nod and a gentle smile. One of his eyes was a kaleidoscope of colors, the other a deep purple—a most extraordinary and unusual trait, for all the Voidweavers Yu Yuan had encountered bore eyes of neither hue.

The individual's multicolored gaze likely stemmed from spending years at the Seven-Colored Lake, his body saturated with its refined waters, which had transformed him in such a way.

But those deep purple eyes...

"I am Rovi, of the Voidweaver lineage," he introduced himself with courteous formality.

"Rovi!"

Yu Yuan was thunderstruck, the crimson light emanating from him causing the nearby lake to bubble and churn.

The man nodded with a smile. "You recognize my name?"

"Your reputation precedes you!"

Yu Yuan inhaled deeply, regaining his composure, yet the astonishment in his eyes remained undiminished.

Rovi, a pinnacle force among the myriad Otherkin within the boundless starry expanse, ranked sixth!

The patriarch of the Voidweaver Race had vanished years ago, his whereabouts still a mystery.

Legend had it that Rovi became lost in the Maw of Oblivion during an exploration, trapped in some secret realm within, unable to find his way back.

Who could have imagined that the patriarch of the Voidweavers would be found here, deep beneath the Everlands, beneath this murky lake?

Had Yu Yuan not witnessed it himself, few would believe his tale.

"How did you come to be here?" Yu Yuan demanded.

The Everlands' Wall was the most fortified barrier in the entire cosmos, the Wintermaw entrances guarded by the highest primordial spirits. This made it nearly impossible for the mightiest from the Star River beyond to slip past the Everlands' defenses undetected.

Any intruder would inevitably be discovered, facing either death or capture.

Not even Tian Zang or the Abyssal Leviathan could escape this destiny.

"You're aware, I have mastered space magic and possess a tenth-level lineage. Unlike the Everlands, I have reached the pinnacle of both primordial spirit and Dark Deity," Rovi explained, his smile conveying ease. "As such an anomaly, I alone can tread into the Everlands by clandestine means."

His statement exuded an air of commanding confidence.

Yu Yuan mulled over his words, then nodded in understanding, speaking earnestly, "I have encountered Kelly and Noeyr, the esteemed creators of your kind."

"Mr. Yuan has spoken to me," Rovi said with a slight nod, his gaze piercing into Yu Yuan. Out of the blue, he remarked, "Alright, I've done my part in greeting you. Now it's your turn to speak."

The radiance in his kaleidoscopic eyes subtly faded.

His other eye, a deep purple, blazed with a dark fire akin to Huangyin's.

In that instant, Yu Yuan understood that another Terra Fiend Ancestor from Huangyin's era resided within Rovi.

A pinnacle Otherkin and an Earth Fiend progenitor were co-inhabiting the body of the Voidweaver chieftain.
