C152 Transplanting Flowers and Trees

The Fallen Moon Forbidden Area bordered the Silvermoon Empire, a place where many evil demons and monsters desperately tried to cross the massive archway, to no avail.

Over time, the Alien Soul Evil Spirits resigned themselves to their fate.

But today, out of the blue!

The bronze monument, now significantly smaller, transformed into a streak of green lightning and shot directly toward the arch.

All the evil demons and monsters watched in astonishment.

"Crack!"

The barrier that had long thwarted them was suddenly pierced by the monument!

The surface of the bronze monument, etched with numerous inscriptions, shimmered like stars, leaving the onlookers awestruck.

Then, in a flash, the bronze monument vanished.

The powerful Alien Soul Evil Spirits sensed the mysterious monument heading deep into the forbidden area, like a bolt of green lightning.

"That bronze slab..."

At the entrance to the forbidden area, a green-clad youth gazed at the arch and spoke to the ghost ape beside him, "What is that? Could it possibly be one of the top ten vicious creatures within the forbidden area?"

The snow-white ghost ape, trembling with excitement, watched the bronze monument depart.

Hefting a deep red stone pillar, the ghost ape charged toward the arch with heavy breaths.

"Crack!"

Nine bolts of lightning lashed out from the depths of the arch, like chains wielded by celestial beings.

The ghost ape was lashed until it bled, howling and roaring at the arch in protest.

As if to ask: Why could it enter?

"Fool!"

The green-robed youth sneered, turning his attention to the other surging spirits.

"Sizzle! Sizzle!"

The spirits, believing themselves powerful, were instantly reduced to smoke upon touching the arch, struck down by the lightning.

The severe injuries of the ghost ape and the other spirits finally brought a sense of calm to the rest.

A crescent-shaped pendant drifted before the green-robed youth, and from within it, a shadowy figure emerged. "Why could that bronze plate pass through the barrier?" A thought emanated from the pendant.

The green-robed youth gave the pendant a cool glance and replied, "You're unaware of its origins?"

"I am a Moon Demon from the outer realms; its origins are beyond me," retorted the Moon Demon hidden within the pendant for years. "My kin who once roamed the forbidden area have all perished. Relying on them is futile now."

The green-robed youth's expression turned grim as he spoke, "The breach of the barrier by the bronze plate is an omen. I fear the Heaven Sealing Soul Transformation Formation is on the verge of failure."

Upon hearing this, a wave of excitement surged among the Alien Soul Evil Spirits.

They eagerly anticipated the moment the forbidden area's barrier would falter.

...

Deep within the forbidden area, the White Ghost, a long-standing figure among the top ten, demonstrated his loyalty by separating from his True Soul.

He prostrated himself before the yet unseen sinner of the Divine Soul Sect, devoid of any shred of pride.

Yu Yuan was utterly stunned.

"White Ghost, we welcome your emergence!"

"I have brought this coffin lid here to break the seal, aiding your return to the light of day."

"This young man, Yu Yuan, is a swordsman recognized by the sword soul. His cultivation is meager; he poses no threat."

"The girl I have captured can serve as your temporary vessel until a more suitable body is found for you."

"Lian Hantian and Green Incubus are sealed within the inner world, unable to escape. Once you awaken, you can choose to assimilate or annihilate them—it is entirely up to you."

"My lord, ever since learning of your whereabouts and your great deeds, the White Ghost has yearned to follow you."

"I hope that upon your return, there will be a place for the White Ghost to serve you."

"..."

The Earth Demon White Ghost swore his allegiance.

To her, Yu Yuan, Lim Zhuyun, and even Hantian and Green Incubus were merely stepping stones. In her eagerness to curry favor with the sinner of the Divine Soul Sect, the White Ghost had cast aside all dignity.

Yet, it remained uncertain whether the entity within the bronze coffin had even awakened.

"Lord White Ghost, are you truly that frightened?"

Yu Yuan's words came as the sword light branded within his arms seared him, becoming unbearable.

The White Ghost remained silent, not sparing him a glance, his focus entirely on the bronze coffin.

"I'll give it a try!"

Unable to contain himself any longer, Yu Yuan directed both arms toward the bronze coffin below, his heart and sword soul in harmony.

With a thunderous roar, lightning bolts as thick as cascades plummeted from the roiling clouds above.

The night sky, once shrouded in darkness, was suddenly ablaze with light as if it were broad daylight!

Yu Yuan's hearing had been rendered deaf, his eyes dazzled and tingling with pain.

A hundred bolts of terrifying lightning carried an aura that seemed intent on obliterating the world!

It was as though the creatures of this realm had incurred the wrath of an ancient deity, master of the thunderbolts, who had decreed a divine punishment to obliterate every trace of life below.

Not even the ants and locusts were to be spared.

Yu Yuan, the catalyst of this chaos, felt his insignificance beneath such celestial power.

From the bowels of the earth, beams of sword light burst forth as if wielded by a Great Sword Immortal from a bygone era, commanding the blade from the depths of an Alien Realm.

Each beam carried the imprint of an ancient sword spell, echoing the lost truths of a forgotten swordsmanship.

Heaven's lightning and earth's sword truths struck in unison, a formidable assault from above and below.

"Whoosh!"

The bronze monument at Yu Yuan's feet trembled, its remaining chains and vines shattering into ash and light.

The monument, like a colossal shield wielded by deities, hovered over the bronze coffin, intercepting the relentless barrage of lightning.

"Aooo!"

Within the monument, the Sky Shocking Emperor and the Green Incubus unleashed their roars of fury.

Yu Yuan watched in astonishment as the fearsome lightning from the heavens was absorbed by the monument in an instant, vanishing into its own inner world.

Trapped within the monument's microcosm, the Sky Shocking Emperor and the Green Incubus faced the onslaught of lightning transformed into thunderous dragons, forced to muster their soul power in a desperate bid to withstand the storm.

"Channel the lightning into the coffin lid for Hantian and Green Incubus to dissipate?"

Yu Yuan marveled at the ingenuity. He had not anticipated that the one yet to emerge would employ such a tactic, redirecting the forbidden sky's most ferocious strikes onto Hantian and Green Incubus.

Both Hantian and Green Incubus, formidable beings among the top ten of the forbidden area, had long been locked in combat.

The two, confined within the coffin's inner realm and unable to escape, had inadvertently shielded the one below from disaster.

And then...

Yu Yuan's gaze returned to the sword light emerging from the deep recesses of the earth.

"Swoosh!"

The spectral form of the White Ghost was yanked into Zhao Jian's body as if by an unseen force. Before the White Ghost could fully integrate with Zhao Jian, a stream of green light burst forth from the open coffin.

This stream shimmered with a rainbow of colors, carrying with it crystal-like inscriptions and clusters of Alien Soul Evil Spirits.

In a flash, the green light surged into Zhao Jian's forehead and plunged deep into his dantian.

Zhao Jian—or was it the White Ghost?—uttered a stifled groan as his features contorted in agony.

Bizarre inscriptions, like ancient tattoos, surfaced beneath Zhao Jian's skin, growing ever more distinct.

His visage twisted into something ghastly and malevolent, with even more enigmatic inscriptions buzzing like flies within his silver-white eyes.

"White Ghost, I am grateful for your boon!"

Inhabiting Zhao Jian's form, the White Ghost soared toward the base of the massive bronze coffin.

A peculiar essence emanated from the White Ghost, as if the entity within the bronze coffin had transferred its own scent onto the White Ghost's bones through a mystical transference.

"Puff! Puff! Puff!"

In a moment, a barrage of ancient sword lights ruthlessly impaled Zhao Jian.

His fleshly form endured mere seconds before exploding into a cloud of blood mist.

Enveloped in the blood mist, the White Ghost's pale figure was encircled by the green light.

Countless sword lights relentlessly pursued the pale figure, hunting the true soul of the White Ghost.

The green light hauled the White Ghost from the bowels of the earth up towards the bronze coffin suspended in the sky.

A relentless onslaught of lethal sword lights followed in hot pursuit.

The White Ghost's true soul, now a mere puppet, was utterly at the mercy of the green light's grip, deprived of all autonomy.

Hantian, the White Ghost, and the Green Incubus—all formidable beings of the forbidden grounds—were led by the nose, powerless to resist.

Simultaneously, Yu Yuan received a lucid message from the sword soul.

He cast his gaze into the distance with a start.

The sword soul revealed that the bronze coffin, despite having its lid, remained incomplete.

The entity within had yet to fully awaken because it was missing a crucial piece!

Another piece, a bronze monument shrunk to a fraction of its size, hovered at the entrance of the forbidden area, having consumed the monument of Van Ning.

It seemed that only when the final bronze monument soared into place, uniting the three objects, could he truly awaken from his deep slumber.

"Shatter that fragment!"

The will of the sword soul grew incredibly distinct, incessantly urging Yu Yuan.

The sword soul was adamant that he must, by any means necessary, shatter the incoming smallest piece of the bronze monument—the coffin lid—into fragments!
