C1551 Find the Direction!

The Stormcrowned Emperor sat despondently, muttering incoherently, clearly unable to come to terms with reality.

Unable to accept that he was, in fact, dead...

Yu Yuan remained silent, observing the emperor with a furrowed brow. After a moment of contemplation, he realized that the emperor's plight mirrored that of Lee Yuchan. Having practiced the Shadow Curse and consumed too many spirits without fully assimilating them, it was likely he had succumbed to possession.

Now, his spirit appeared cleansed, likely the work of Taishi's intervention.

Past vulnerabilities had led to his mental breakdown, culminating in his current state.

"Sigh..."

Yu Yuan shook his head, sighing softly as he channeled the Solar Spirit to carry Lee Sha's lifeblood into the realm within the Dragon Slaying Stage.

The incessantly crying infant boy seemed like a child yearning for milk...

And the lifeblood of Lee Sha, combined with the chilling psionic power of the Frozen World, was the nourishment the baby boy so desperately needed.

As soon as Yu Yuan entered, the baby boy, who had been rolling on the ice rock, crawled over eagerly.

A look of hopeful joy spread across the baby boy's face.

Yu Yuan paused, then dropped the small glass bottle he was holding, which contained two drops of Lee Sha's silvery lifeblood.

The baby boy immediately shifted his focus, hurriedly crawling to the bottle. He grasped it with his plump little hands and gulped down the silvery drops.

Rich and pure moon energy flooded his body, with the Moon Magic in Lee Sha's lifeblood transforming into delicate currents that seamlessly integrated into his bones and heart.

The combined forces of the ice power and moon energy from the earth accelerated his growth.

He was now a being of flesh and blood, with burgeoning spiritual wisdom. For the time being, it seemed he only required moon energy and ice energy for sustenance, nothing more.

Yet, Yu Yuan sensed that before long, he would need to adapt like the Otherkin from beyond the stars, requiring new forms of nourishment.

Grains, fruits, meats – these would all become essential as he matured.

Casting a glance at the Wintermaw nearby, Yu Yuan realized that the severely damaged Wintermaw, brought by Ji Ningshuang, had been largely restored.

It wouldn't take long for the Wintermaw to be restored to its original state, ready for reuse.

Yu Yuan planned to entrust the Wintermaw, along with the infant boy before him, to the care of the snow bear.

He would have the snow bear raise the child and assist in locating another Frostfell to properly establish the Wintermaw.

"Taishi, why did you send Hantian to find me? What issue needs resolving?"

As the Emperor outside exhibited bouts of madness, Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body contemplated within the Dragon Slaying Stage.

His Solar Spirit often sparked insights when deep in thought, allowing him to reach more profound conclusions.

Reid, the High Priest of the Sky Fiend, had mentioned before departing the hall that Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit possessed the essence of life, a vital force necessary for the creation of new beings.

'Did the snow bear already know this? Is that why it sought my help, to use its lifeblood combined with the Moon Soul and the wonders of the Dragon Slaying Stage to bring this infant into the world?'

One of the Titan Spinosaurus's offspring was incubated by Taishi in Ionodios, using Grec.

And the other... was me.

Yu Yuan mused to himself.

Suddenly, a possibility crossed his mind. Squinting, he gazed at another small glass vial in his palm.

Inside this vial was another drop of lifeblood, an extra he had brought in case there wasn't enough for the child.

Now, he placed his palm over the vial's opening, channeling the life force from his Solar Spirit into it.

His crimson life force flowed into the vial, filling it with a thickening scarlet mist.

Initially faint, the mist grew denser as he continued to infuse it with his life force.

Originating from him, he could distinctly sense the lifeblood within the vial drawing upon his life energy from the mist.

Lee Sha, of the tenth level Moonlit Wanderers, was slain by Lin Daoke, her spirit extinguished, leaving behind only her lifeblood devoid of consciousness or remnant soul.

Lee Sha was indeed dead.

Yet, Yu Yuan was aware that each drop of her silvery lifeblood, besides being rich and pure in moon energy, contained countless, exceedingly fine bloodline chains.

Upon magnifying a million times, one would see thousands of delicate bloodline chains intermingled within Lee Sha's lifeblood.

Despite Lee Sha's death, a single drop of her lifeblood, contained in a tiny glass vial, was actively drawing in life force, thanks to the infusion of Yu Yuan's life force.

The silver lifeblood, enriched by the life force, saw its incredibly fine bloodline chains slowly thickening.

They were growing!

Yu Yuan's mind trembled slightly as he continued his covert observation and silent deductions.

He used the scene before him and the ongoing transformations to extrapolate potential outcomes.

Eventually, he ceased the infusion of his life force.

He sealed the vial with its stopper and closed his eyes, pondering for a moment.

In a vague vision, he saw Lee Sha resurrected through the drop of lifeblood within the bottle.

He understood that if his life force were boundless, pouring into it without end...

This drop of lifeblood, left behind after Lee Sha's departure from this world, could regenerate a skeleton, organs, and meridians through the growth of the bloodline chains, giving rise to a new Lee Sha!

Yet this new Lee Sha seemed to lack a soul; she was merely a vessel.

A vessel of infinite potential!

For this vessel bore the imprint of all Lee Sha's bloodline mysteries, each bloodline chain a testament to the powers she had mastered!

If Lee Sha were not entirely gone, if a fragment of her soul lingered, she could inhabit this vessel and complete her resurrection!

She would only need to gradually fortify her new form and once again ascend through the bloodline breakthroughs. There was hope that in the future, she could return as a Moonlit Wanderers warrior at the pinnacle of the tenth level!

It was akin to the Great Demon God Grec, who was undergoing three simultaneous resurrection ceremonies in the outer realms and the Primal Blood Continent!

The Origin of Life was not just the core force for creating new beings; it could also resurrect the Great Demon God Grec.

Naturally, it held the power to bring Yu Yuan back to life as well!

His Solar Spirit, having merged with the blood crystal of the Great Demon God, the Sunsorrow, and the essence of the Abyssal Leviathan, should possess the full force of the Origin of Life!

"Alas," he sighed, gazing at the glass vial in his hand with a tinge of regret, for he could not act upon his deepest intentions.

Lee Sha's soul had perished, and for him to use his life force to conjure a drop of lifeblood and fashion another body was pointless.

Moreover, Yu Yuan sensed that since Lee Sha had been a peak tenth-level Otherkin, the challenge of reconstructing a body with a mere drop of lifeblood was immense. The life power needed was a staggering amount, too vast even for him to withstand.

Life, life force, the essence of life!

Suddenly, Yu Yuan understood the deeper significance behind Taishi's instruction for Hantian to seek him out.

He wanted Hantian to remind Yu Yuan of what was most essential and precious in this life.

It was his Solar Spirit! The Solar Spirit, brimming with the essence of life and the Secrets of Life, was the Way of Heaven he should concentrate on!

His pursuit of a breakthrough in the Unbound realm should not prioritize the soul but rather the true essence of life power. He must resolutely seek this path!

As for the Path of the Soul from his first life, it was already securely in his grasp. Once he forged his primordial spirit in the future, what was his would remain his.

Just as when Taishi awoke and ascended to the heights, he could effortlessly reclaim the cosmic order from Gu Xingkui's grasp.

"However..."

In the external world, on the mid-lake island, he tapped into the power of the Dragon Slaying Stage to scrutinize the Stormcrowned Emperor once more.

After a moment, he shook his head in resignation, acknowledging that the Stormcrowned Emperor was still insufficient.

The emperor's body, after countless years, had been reduced to bones that Yu Yuan had only recently recovered.

The White Bone he had crafted through dark arts, complete with flesh, organs, and so-called meridians, harbored a muddled and chaotic power, devoid of vital energy – none of it truly his own, thus rendering it nothing more than a hollow shell.

After so many years, not a single drop of blood remained in that deceased body.

Without rice, even the cleverest cook can't prepare a meal. Hantian was not a supreme Otherkin warrior, lacking their extraordinary lifeblood, without even a drop of blood to his name.

Despite possessing life force, Yu Yuan still found it impossible to create a body for Hantian out of thin air.

"My advice is to traverse the Rainbow Ocean and descend into the Defiled World below. Say that I sent you. Seek out Yu Zhu or Qiyan and ask them to harness the power of the Seven-Colored Lake to aid you in transforming directly into a Terra Fiend."

"There are too many Ghost Kings. Given the current state of the Everlands, it's unlikely that a new God of Ghosts will emerge before Youyu is vanquished."

"Why not fully embrace your transformation? You still hold hope on the path of becoming a Great Demon God."

Yu Yuan spoke regardless of whether Hantian was listening. He had his own ulterior motives. He believed that even if Hantian transformed into a Terra Fiend, as long as he continued to practice Shadow Curse, he could eventually ascend to godhood and become an unconventional Demon God of the Everlands. And Yu Yuan was confident he could keep the Stormcrowned Emperor under his control.

He was convinced that no matter what Hantian became or how powerful he grew, as long as he practiced Shadow Curse, Yu Yuan could keep him in check.

Of course, this would require Yu Yuan to successfully integrate all the divine mysteries of his first life in the future and take full command of the sacred way.

In the days that followed, Hantian endured agonizing torment and fought desperately.

Meanwhile, Yu Yuan, with a daring new plan in mind, sent his Solar Spirit out to contact members of a nearby merchant guild. He instructed them to relay a message to Green Willow at the Shadow's Keep.

Lee Sha, a tenth-level Otherkin, was no longer alive. Using her lifeblood to unravel the Secrets of Life seemed inappropriate.

On the side of evilkind, aside from Yu Zhu, who was sealed among the gods, the most familiar and trusted individual Yu Yuan knew was Green Willow, the former leader of the Demon Army.

Green Willow had assisted him on more than one occasion, and Yu Yuan felt it was time to return the favor.

Thus, merely half a day later, Green Willow arrived at the mid-lake island.

"Hantian, what brings you here?" Green Willow asked with a furrowed brow, surveying the area. "Why choose this location?"
