C1592 Dispersing in a Hustle and Bustle

The Abyssal Leviathan possessed an intimate knowledge of the Dark Phoenix within the Everlands, and harbored a persistent fear of her. When it mentioned that Yu Yuan wouldn't be able to elude the Dark Phoenix using only the residual power of the Chronowyrm within the Dragon Slaying Stage, it became clear that Yu Yuan would likely fail in such an attempt.

Yu Yuan proceeded to inquire about matters related to the Dark Phoenix. But before the Abyssal Leviathan could provide a full account, its demeanor shifted abruptly, as if it had just received alarming news. "We've caused too much of a stir at the fringe of the Dark Star. My appearance in the vicinity must have reached the ears of Shadow's Keep."

"She's not coming here, is she?" Zhou Cangmin's anxiety spiked.

Unlike the Abyssal Leviathan, who freely used the term 'Dark Phoenix,' the state preceptor, Zhou Cangmin, dared not even utter her name for fear of being detected, despite the vast distance of the Infinite Galaxy separating them. He wouldn't risk provoking her.

With Kobran Crossing currently sealed off, Zhou Cangmin feared the repercussions if the Dark Phoenix were to suddenly appear and discover him alongside Yu Yuan and the Abyssal Leviathan within Kobran. He suspected he might become collateral damage or be slain outright by the Dark Phoenix.

Considering that Yuwen Hao of the Sunlit Order had brazenly confronted the Dark Phoenix, and Taishi, one of Boulderdawn's creators, had recently been gravely wounded by her, Zhou Cangmin had little hope for his own survival against her formidable might and vindictive nature—if she were indeed on her way.

"It's not the Dark Phoenix; it's the Moonfang Tiger, coming from another Astral Domain," the Abyssal Leviathan clarified, massaging its forehead with a pained expression at the mention of the formidable tiger.

"The Astral Tiger is no less of a nuisance. My wounds have yet to heal, and facing that tiger, master of the Everlands' lethal arts, would not be to my advantage. I fear being ensnared and relentlessly pursued by it... I must leave at once!"

Initially intent on extracting a portion of the Secrets of Life from Yu Yuan, the Abyssal Leviathan now found itself in turmoil, suspecting that the Moonfang Tiger might be targeting it and that the Dark Phoenix had taken notice. Its panic was palpable.

Before departing, the giant beast, now appearing as a gaunt old man, inquired of Yu Yuan, "Where will you head next?"

"I'll head to Darkpinion first, then to Ionodios in the Annihilation Nebula to check on Taishi's injuries," Yu Yuan responded.

"Darkpinion, the realm of the secular bird..."

The Abyssal Leviathan's expression tensed, and it chose to remain silent, hastily vanishing from Kobran for fear of the Moonfang Tiger catching up.

"His injuries seem to have never healed," Zhou Cangmin remarked, astonished.

"You're unaware of his tragic fate. He might just be the unluckiest cosmic giant beast. He had considerable strength among his kind and enjoyed his freedom. Yet, he ventured to the Primal Blood Continent and was grievously wounded by the Solar Meridian," Yu Yuan said with a chuckle, omitting the fact that there was more to the story beneath the Root of the Solar Meridian.

The Abyssal Leviathan's blood, enriched by the Solar Meridian, was rumored to have the power to extend the lifespans of all beings.

Warriors across the stars would go to great lengths to besiege the Abyssal Leviathan when faced with the end of their lifespans.

The Kylin's longevity was also attributed to the Dark Phoenix, which would occasionally extract blood from the Abyssal Leviathan during its imprisonment.

"That is truly a dire fate..."

Zhou Cangmin let out a wry laugh, learning for the first time that the Dark Phoenix frequently visited the Abyssal Leviathan for its blood while it was subdued.

"I'll soon reopen the Kobran Crossing. You should make your departure quickly. Otherwise, if the Astral Tiger shows up, I'll be at a loss for words."

"Indeed, I'm eager to reach Darkpinion."

"I'll make the arrangements immediately."

...

In Darkpinion, within the Greenshadow realm, Wen Lu, of Shadowkin lineage, led a group of herbalists from the Order of Healing through the forest allocated to the Skyreach Consortium and Boulderdawn. They were diligently at work.

Xia Nan and Yin Xueqi of the Artifact Sect gazed at the pale green canopy and marveled at the dense wood spiritual energy of this world, clicking their tongues in amazement.

They had not yet achieved the Solar Spirit level, and therefore lacked the qualifications to venture out of the Everlands and into the extraterrestrial Star River. Transitioning from the Marsh of the Everlands through the nest of the secular bird to the Darkpinion Astral Domain, they initially struggled to adapt to this unfamiliar realm. The psionic power in Greenshadow differed from the divine force of the Everlands, containing many substances harmful to humans.

Xia Nan and the herbalists she had brought were not sufficiently advanced in their cultivation, having devoted themselves to the study of alchemy. Those herbalists who had braved the journey were now coughing violently, some even coughing up blood. The human constitution is inherently fragile, and herbalists typically neglect physical cultivation. Accustomed to the nurturing divine force of the Everlands, they found the mixed psionic powers of the outside world challenging.

Fortunately, Wen Lu, with her Shadowkin heritage, had anticipated this issue. She had prepared numerous strengthening concoctions, specifically tailored to the conditions in Greenshadow. After consuming these, Xia Nan and Yin Xueqi began to acclimate to the Greenshadow environment. Xia Nan even deduced the formula of the concoction and offered Wen Lu several insightful suggestions, which impressed her greatly.

Subsequently, Xia Nan and her companions scoured Greenshadow for suitable locations to cultivate special magic plants and herbs, planting a variety of seeds. While Greenshadow might not be ideal for human cultivation, it surpassed most regions within the Everlands for growing spiritual plants. With many similar domains within Darkpinion, the potential for development and cultivation of spiritual plants was vast, promising bountiful harvests in the future.

Xia Nan felt as though she had stumbled upon an uncharted world, and she busied herself with planting seeds throughout Greenshadow. This realm served as a preliminary trial, with plans to eventually sow many Everlands-exclusive herbs across the entire Darkpinion Astral Domain.

From a forbidden area within the forest, the mournful call of a snow bear echoed. A snow bear, its fur a silvery white and stature reduced to roughly two meters, emerged from the dense woods, gazing towards the direction of the Deathwing Lair with a look of surprise.

Once again, it sensed Yu Yuan's return.

Previously, Yu Yuan had hurried over only to hunt the Kylin, not bothering to alert anyone or intending to meet, which had left it feeling quite heartbroken.

This time, however, it noticed that as soon as Yu Yuan arrived, he flew straight toward its location.

It immediately realized that Yu Yuan wasn't in such a rush and that it would likely get to see its child.

"Why are you so elated? Could it be... the Master has returned?"

Wen Lu had grown to understand it well, recognizing its moods. She could even deduce many of its thoughts just by observing the changes in its eyes.

The snow bear nodded emphatically.

"Ah!"

Wen Lu gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in surprise. She hadn't expected her guess to be correct—that Yu Yuan had truly come back from the Everlands to the Darkpinion Astral Domain, once again arriving in the Greenshadow Realm.

With a whoosh, Yu Yuan appeared, accompanied by the Sky Fiend Indigo Wraith and Feng Zhong of the Skyreach Consortium.

The snow bear bounded forward, its posture one of eager embrace, its eyes brimming with excitement.

Yu Yuan smiled warmly, summoning the Dragon Slaying Stage and bringing forth the Snow Kid. Before the snow bear could embrace him, he handed the child over.

The renowned Dire Bear, upon seeing the Snow Kid, seemed to momentarily forget Yu Yuan's presence.

In its gaze, there was only the Snow Kid, who looked back with wide, curious eyes.

The dire bear scooped up the Snow Kid, cradling it in its thick, furry chest, its dense fur enveloping the little one.

"Wah!"

The Snow Kid, resembling a sculpture of ice, burst into tears within its embrace, its small face nuzzling against the bear's chest, clearly feeling the resonance of their shared bloodline.

"This is for you as well."

Yu Yuan then presented the restored Wintermaw, placing it before the dire bear.

But the dire bear, its eyes fixated on the Snow Kid, paid no attention to the Wintermaw.

"Yu Yuan, as soon as Ms. Ji forged her Divine Throne, she headed straight for the Dark Realm," Feng Zhong informed them, sharing the latest developments from the Everlands. "She learned that Blood King Sabonis might not be able to return to the Dark Realm for a while, so she went to explore the ice magic there, aiming to integrate it into her Divine Throne."

"Tan Xiaotian, Youyu, Yan Qiling, and Xuanli still haven't emerged from the Domain Channel," Feng Zhong reported.

"The entry points at both ends are securely blocked. There's no trace of darkness or Soul Power leaking through anymore. Han Miaoyuan has noticed that the sealed passage is eerily quiet. It's a mystery what's happening to those four inside."

"Furthermore, it seems that under the Dark Phoenix's orders, the Astral Tiger has set off toward the Primal Blood Continent."

Yu Yuan, meanwhile, stared in astonishment at the snow bear. Through the evolved Solar Spirit, he had uncovered the secret to the Dire Bear's remarkable longevity.
