C1620
Andre was originally a Blood Fiend, created at the Root of the Solar Meridian. Yet, due to his life's regeneration, he became fully integrated with Taixu.
If Andre could achieve this, then... might Ann Ziqing, who hailed from the Everlands, also be capable of such a feat in the future?
Within the Dragon Slaying Stage, Yu Yuan gazed upon the peculiar Blood Fiend form, sensing the delicate bond linking his existence to Ann Ziqing's. He pondered whether it would be possible to retrieve Ann Ziqing from the Root of the Solar Meridian once his life force climbed to a higher echelon.
Could Ann Ziqing, like Taixu before her, once again be bound by the blood ties of existence?
The answer seemed inevitable.
Even if Ann Ziqing had been altered by the Solar Meridian, even if her Solar Spirit had metamorphosed into a Blood Fiend Demon God, she was, at her core, still human.
If Andre's fate could be reversed, why not Ann Ziqing's?
"In the future, I will find a way to bring you back."
Yu Yuan resolved in his heart. He continued to observe the transforming Blood Fiend, noting that Taixu's God-King presence had suffused the entire vessel.
"I need to enter a slumber to complete the final step of fusion. Once I awaken, I will be able to return."
Taixu's voice ceased, and instead, he released a faint trace of his remnant soul, "For now, let me remain on the Dragon Slaying Stage. Do not remove me from here."
Upon the settling of the remnant soul, Taixu's heart, now brimming with vitality, began to pulsate.
With each heartbeat, it yearned for the vital energy!
Whoosh!
A massive chunk of dark green flesh, studded with scales and accompanied by the sounds of wind and thunder, plummeted from the heavens.
A swirling tempest emerged within the Dragon Slaying Stage, brimming with fiery vital energy.
"It's Kylin flesh," Yu Yuan exclaimed in astonishment.
"I had prepared it for him in advance."
The chuckle of Taishi, the God-King, drifted from the cosmos beyond the Dragon Slaying Stage, "The empress, upon hearing of our plans to revive Taixu, had a portion of the Kylin's flesh and blood severed. Brie was tasked with bringing it here."
"Furthermore..."
Slabs of flesh from alien beasts and archdemons were meticulously arranged in special vessels, materializing one after another in the air above the Dragon Slaying Stage, before soaring towards Taixu.
Without the need to look or sense with his life's peculiar intuition, Yu Yuan, as the deity presiding over the Dragon Slaying Stage, was aware that the flesh from the extraterrestrial creatures and the Everlands archdemons was predominantly ninth level.
Each piece was saturated with dense vital energy!
Clearly, Boulderdawn had been preparing for a considerable time to facilitate Taixu's return.
With every beat of Taixu's heart, chunks of flesh manifested in the heavens, drawn toward his chest by Yu Yuan's influence.
A blood-red vortex, funnel-shaped, silently coalesced over Taixu's chest.
Within the depths of the vortex, lightning crackled and thunder roared incessantly.
Numerous crimson spell symbols, interwoven with the glow of blood and lightning, emerged only to be extinguished moments later.
Each descending piece of flesh, including that of the Dark Deity Kylin, was rapidly transmuted upon entering the vortex, transforming into the most refined vital energy and merging with his heart.
Subsequently, within his heart, it congealed into droplets of fresh blood.
The blood, once formed, coursed through the network of vessels, spreading to every limb and bone...
Yu Yuan observed the transformation of the skin over Taixu's chest, once withered like an ancient mummy, now plumping and taking on the sheen of vibrant life.
Taixu appeared to be in deep slumber, yet his heart instinctively yearned for vital energy.
He was utterly content, seemingly assured that with Yu Yuan and Taishi present, he would never go hungry, confident they would provide him with an abundance of energy-rich flesh.
"You truly trust us unreservedly," Yu Yuan murmured. The stalactite-like cluster of crystals swiftly returned to the vitality-filled little world.
With a whoosh, his Lunar Spirit emerged, floating beside Taixu. Employing divine techniques, he extracted the flesh from the vessels and integrated it into the blood-red whirlpool at Taixu's chest.
Meanwhile, his physical form and Solar Spirit departed from the Dragon Slaying Stage.
In the palace at the meteorite's core, walls were inlaid with innumerable gemstones and exquisite crystals, emitting a brilliance so intense that Yu Yuan found it almost blinding.
These gemstones and crystals were not static; they flowed within the walls.
At a glance, it resembled a mystical Star River from the extraterrestrial realms, where countless stars, collected by Taishi, adorned this wondrous palace, preserving Andre's demonic form from decay and detection.
Standing in the heart of the palace, Yu Yuan felt as though he was adrift in an ocean of stars, yet his head reeled as if the earth itself were quaking.
"This is no small feat."
The very next moment, he materialized on the surface of a meteorite.
Thousands of meteorites of varying sizes, under the Cosmic Order comprehended by Taishi, stretched out into the void, shrouding a ten-million-mile radius of the Star River and forming a three-dimensional magic diagram.
Immense divine power roared forth from the intricate magic diagram, reminiscent of the dwellings of ancient deities.
Between the meteorites, billions of black and green lines intertwined, resembling chains of order crafted by the cosmic order, linking the meteorites into a unified whole.
The Abyssal Leviathan, notorious across the heavens, in its primal form of a green giant fish, struggled fiercely to draw upon the forces of the cosmos.
Beside the leviathan, a babbling expanse of water materialized, a realm unto itself.
Within this Water Domain, the body of the Abyssal Leviathan was bombarded by numerous meteorites.
The spatial magic diagram, constructed from these meteorites, bore down on it, visibly restraining its movements.
Thankfully, regardless of the meteorites' ferocity, their power diminished sharply upon entering the Water Domain.
The waters from beyond the stars imposed limitations on both the meteorites and Taishi's cosmic order.
Yu Yuan had an epiphany.
He envisioned the aerolites plummeting from the heavens, decelerating in the deep blue sea, their impact gradually neutralized by the water.
If the sea were deep enough, by the time the meteorites reached the seabed, their momentum and formidable force would be completely eroded away.
His thoughts drifted to the Embers Sea...
He pictured the aerolites that fell from the sky, causing only astonishing waves before slowly descending to the ocean floor.
The Abyssal Leviathan before him was using the Water Domain it had conjured to mitigate Taishi's aggressive onslaught.
Unfortunately for him, at the edge of this Star River, cosmic energy was exceedingly scarce, leaving the power of water especially meager.
A cosmic giant beast such as the Abyssal Leviathan, if battling within the dense cosmic energy of an extraterrestrial Star River, could harness this cosmic energy to create its own domain.
Yet here, at the fringes of the Star River, he and Taishi found themselves with scarcely any psionic power at their disposal.
In fact, he hadn't managed to leverage his strengths.
"Yu Yuan!"
Within his Water Domain, the Abyssal Leviathan transformed into a gaunt human elder. As if spotting a lifeline, he called out to Yu Yuan, "I came because I sensed your presence and heard about the Dark Phoenix's large-scale invasion of the Dark Star Region. I wanted to have a word with you!"
"Why have you suddenly emerged?" Taishi, seated cross-legged on a fragment of rock, saw Yu Yuan drift out from the palace within the meteorite and frowned in concern. "Shouldn't you continue to look after him?"
While speaking, Taishi's hand released a vessel brimming with various types of flesh and blood.
The moment Taixu's heart resumed beating, Yu Yuan had him feel the prepared items being continuously tossed into the Dragon Slaying Stage. Yet, this didn't interfere with his confrontation with the Abyssal Leviathan.
Aware of Taixu's rebirth, his demeanor remained composed, devoid of excitement or joy. He understood that since Yu Yuan had acquired the complete Secrets of Life from the Primal Blood, Taixu's return was inevitable. Events that were meant to occur didn't stir excitement or surprise in him.
"My Lunar Spirit can handle the oversight."
With a casual explanation, Yu Yuan's gaze settled on the Water Domain where the Abyssal Leviathan had assumed human form. "Taishi, hold off for a moment. I want to hear what he has to say."
"Should we not suppress him first?" Taishi proposed.
"There's no need."
After a head shake, Yu Yuan moved through the myriad of peculiar meteorites and appeared before the Water Domain. He listened to the water's murmur and observed the shrunken Extraterrestrial Divine Rivers encircling the human-shaped Abyssal Leviathan. He refrained from entering to avoid causing panic in the Abyssal Leviathan, which might lead to rash actions.
"I'm aware of your actions."
The Abyssal Leviathan's face darkened. Upon seeing Yu Yuan halt at a distance, he huffed, "The first Demon God of the Blood Fiend was slain by your Boulderdawn sect, and I am well-informed about it. More than anyone, I understand the wonders of the underground Primal Blood. Since it has bestowed upon Yu Yuan the entirety of the Secrets of Life, Yu Yuan certainly possesses the power to resurrect Taixu and bring forth Andre once again!"
Yu Yuan was taken aback.
"Don't be surprised. A portion of his blood was integrated into Andre's heart," Taishi said with his usual stoic demeanor. "Unfortunately, his blood proved ineffective and couldn't bring Taixu back to life."
"I am not a Solar Meridian, nor am I Andre's creator. Naturally, I lack the power to do that," the Abyssal Leviathan grumbled in frustration.
