The Chaos Roc let out a sly chuckle, eyeing Leo and the others intently. "They didn't just part with a fragment of their souls; they lost their entire beings! Look at them. These soulless husks could easily be transformed into devil bodies by an Outland Devaputra."

Atop the altar, Leo, Beru, and Gheirat had their eyes wide open.

Yet there was no spark of life within them.

They seemed to have become human-shaped puppets, mere shells devoid of souls.

Yu Yuan's face grew stern.

If the souls of Leo and the others perished in the Sea of Hearts, wouldn't these three Star Race warriors, now reduced to mere husks, also be considered dead?

Like the Chaos Roc, the heart stone at the bottom of the sea, refined from a bone, had also become a pebble, indistinguishable among the countless others of the same hue.

As long as no energy was lost, no life force or soul essence leaked out to become one with the countless pebbles on the ocean floor, transforming into a heart stone, even the Chaos Roc might not be able to find it.
